  1. You're somewhat right about it fixing a lot of the junk trading, but you still have problems with items that were once tradeable on the GE going into the junk trading realm thanks to some freak price fluctuation/price manipulation; which is why removing regular trading would be a good idea. Items that already have a reasonable price couldn't jump to a higher price overnight because of manipulators since they have nowhere else to make their trades but the GE. You know how items that are going up in price are unbuyable on the GE currently? This wouldn't be quite so much the case if it weren't for junk trading. As for RWTing with new items, I can't see it happening. Either the buyer or seller would have to acquire one of the items in the first place, and then they'd have to hope that nobody else was selling for a lower price or buying for a higher price at that present moment. When I try to buy something for max GE that is selling for mid, I get it at mid, and get the difference in cash back. I can't see how this would be any different. It's relatively much easier to Xfer in BH anyway... Basically, we agree on more than 50% of the ideas. Let me introduce another perspective as well, though: why would it be good for Jagex to control the economy even more (by removing normal trading), what with RWT already purged from RuneScape (oh, except for BH, where anyone can RWT at impunity with just a little skill :-w )? However, lot of players would protest if Jagex would destroy normal trading, and Jagex can only stretch it too much before the people who aren't entirely addicted to RuneScape decide that this game just doesn't cut it anymore and then get addicted to World of Warcraft instead. Junk trading here, junk trading there, I don't see the point of this whole suggestion, especially since your previous post mirrors my idea 100% and is in my opinion a risk-free way to ensure normal prices without RWT.
  2. It is serious. Yes, it will be evil - wicked, even - but I don't get why people misspell "medieval" all the time? It's not like it's a hard word, yet I see anything from "midevil" to "medaevil" and in between.
  3. Who told you to bring rune armor? Use black or mith.
  4. Currently, there are 47701 people who could survive that. If you're low-leveled enough so the chance of encountering one of those is basically zero, you're all set. A chance of instakill can still yield an instakill.
  5. You aren't serious about that, are you?
  6. Actually, in that case junk trading would be gone, therefore there'd be no need to remove trading. That would probably be the long-awaited fix, but Jagex is too chicken to do it, in fear of players RWTing with an extremely rare item (they could always overview out-of-whack trades).
  7. I favor melee too, yet no-one complains about me.
  8. Go read the first post then comment, if you cant even read the first post then im not going to debate you. My bad, sorry. Still, I reaffirm my opinion.
  9. Are you saying you want to be banned? Are you saying my IQ is under 130? Of course you are, but then you'd be wrong. OT: Yes, I will be trying out MechScape; as long as the subscription fee isn't too high(unless they come out with a free version). IQ =/= your actual intelligence.
  10. TC, if you cannot understand this post of mine, you are a failure of epic proportions.
  11. I'm certain that this topic is really just a brag topic masked as a help topic. You'd think one with so much money could decide for himself instead of asking someone else to do so?
  12. And come to think of it, what a shtty idea. You want us to be unable to get food from a partner, to be unable to do a lot of interaction we can now just because some people don't want to sell a rare item for a paltry 200k? Get out.
  13. Fairness replied to dre2's topic in Rants
That would be a fix, not an update.
  14. I smell bull....! I failed all the time with 60 :x
  15. That doesn't stop the lag, and that's the only reason I'd ever block an ad.
  16. Junk trades only exists because Jagex insists on controlling the economy but doesn't know how to get around to it. Leaving that, what you're suggesting has no actual benefit to any party. *flames*
  17. They're just hypocrites. Look at the other side too: "Proud to have 1 farming!" Enjoy sucking.
  18. XD Yes, Notepad is difficult to use. I'm sure you, sir, predicted this like you, the community, predicted Riding who-knows-how-long ago.
  19. Hey, I don't have an avatar either. That's not because I don't know how, though :P Like everything, Slayer advances too as time passes in RuneScape 2. Everything will slowly become dominated by higher levels, 70 [insert skill] here is not worth to mention at all now, you're expected to have a whip as soon as you can equip it, etc.
  20. P2P? Buy vials of water. From the East Ardougne shop, then from Shilo if you can, the latter easily reaches 200k/h and I'm sure the former isn't far behind - you barely need anything, too. F2P? "Merchant" =/ You should train some skill of your choice there. Mining's the best, and eventually at 85 you earn at least 250k/h.
  21. Frigates have gotten too slow - it takes almost 5 hours just for one level. I'm currently training in the Mediterranean because I fail way too much against the Caribbean pirates. Galleons seem to cost a load of cash, are they worth it though for the extra exp? What level should I get to manage the Caribbean? Thanks!
  22. If you break the law, you'd better know the consequences and not cry "unfair!" when you actually get caught. Yes, the problem is, people get away with it too much. I'm simply shocked about the attitude of some people. "Who cares about it anyway? It's not within the Jagex rules!" If there was a murderer in your clan chat who admitted it - and wasn't just trolling - would you let him go? I wouldn't. Don't give me the "it's a minor crime" male-oxen-hit, because a minor crime is still a crime. Again a line that springs to me from a Maddox article - are 10 murders any better than 20 murders if the murders are avoidable? As far as I'm concerned, hell no. Nice theory, except that in most proper countries (i.e. {countries on the Earth \ USA}), you can get into a great big mess if enough people give a damn just for such a joke. Once I heard a true story about some policemen who were ordered to go investigate some party 'cause it was too loud. So they went there, and an obviously drunk guy came out with a toy gun, one which shoots water, and fired it. In turn, one of the policemen shot down that guy. Of course, he didn't get in trouble because it was self-defense - how was he to know the gun wasn't real and dangerous?
  23. Aha! So basically, as the new GW erupts, RuneScape will be destroyed, i.e. shut down, and MechScape will come out. Awaiting orders, sir.
  24. Firefox. Where's the competition again? :| Chrome is not an option because it's still insignificant and almost useless - and that's how it should stay. Why do I feel like a zealot?
  25. Finally, someone thinking simple.
