  1. Most jewelry stores have some items in the $100s. Many will also do free minor repairs on your jewelry or watches (I got my watch's band shortened at a Jared's once). Man, why didn't anyone think of that before? he may have accidentally damaged his mum/grandmas/whoever's jewellery and wants to get it repaired....
  2. Lol everyone does that tbh. might try armed combat training too, he thinks he is a god of knife fights #-o  :wall:
  3. Sick? Don't get sick, but when I did (years ago) I just ignored it and continued on as if everything was normal.
  4. if only that was in background size....
  5. fireworks... we didn't get any for last year, due to the council not doing anything to the riverbank 6 months after they said they would have it fixed, was no different to how it was before the floods -.- now I have a 30 min drive to the fireworks if they have them this year
  6. I'll be back on Halo 3 once I can bridge the wireless modem to the 360, which I am trying to do, as I can't do it through a router....
  7. How much a month do you pay for that internet? because it sounds like a ripoff. I believe it's $50/month, but it's better then dial-up and ALOT cheaper then satellite, plus it doesn't lag, so once I can bridge the modem to the 360 I'll be back in action (my room is the only place in the house that doesn't drop out and I ALWAYS get 7.2Mbps \
  8. slide phone, you don't break the screen or smudge it up too much in the 1st week... not to mention slide phones are still thinner
  9. it's nice that you're doing that, but not everybody enjoys renting music. Believe me when I say that iTunes isn't a "massive selection" compared to other sources. What's the point of this? You don't need a million gadgets with a portable mp3 player. Besides, if you're at home you really listen through that crap? Get a proper audio system dude. And Apple doesn't have special LCD on their players. For example, iRiver uses AMOLED on their mp3 players. Archos has players with resolution twice that of iPods But it's alright. That's how Apple markets their products. They take a normal feature, release it on their product with enough hype and boom, people flock to them. Those people who brag about the iTouch? Yeah, iRiver, Cowon and Archos already did touchscreen long before Apple did. But since the Touch came out, of course it's a brilliant innovation. ewwww..... touchscreen.... can't stand them, I see no point, they take me longer, especially dialling and chatting (used my friends iPhone and my sister's LG VIEWTY
  10. always wanted to do military unarmed combat training, just so I can embarrass this one guy as he thinks he is really cool and strong compared to me -.-
  11. Go one better, over a weekend disassemble the ENTIRE car then reassemble it in a small room (heard about that happening once on the radio, where a guy was at college and went away for a weekend, and had left his car + keys there. His friends took the whole thing apart and reassembled it in his room :XD: )
  12. Too hot here during summer, and my 360 isn't turned on without the aircon on, due to the heat it generates, infact it is hot all year round :-k Where I lived when I was young, it averaged around 98 deg F during the summer, so we just would go out in the afternoon/evening when it was a little cooler or just muck around in the forests where it was at least out of the sun. where I am it is hot WAY into the night...
  13. That reminded me of Dane Cook "Optimus Prime, come here for a second I wanna talk to you, come here you sit next to Megatron, we're gonna have a little chit-chat here."

  15. I think this may be the missing link to my somewhat insane habits, I am wanting to kill someone one moment then having dillusions the next, I have no logical thought patterns, I will always try to battle authority, even if it is for no reason, I am always aggrovated and can be very nasty if you are acting how I don't want you to act.
  16. Not really. Hell, we can't get ADSL out here, selling the console is starting to creep into my mind :ohnoes:
  17. Fe-g... F-gee... F-guh... How is it pronounced?
  18. 4 christmas celebrations this month -.- not a happy chappy.... No christmas spirit in me this year too, also hoping I'll be working next week as well, family isn't exactly a cheap bunch.... And I've been outta school since last month... 9:30? Meh there is only one good reason for me being up there then, and thats the gf.... Even then there needs to be a reason why.
  19. Homework is definately a hinderance, if you can't give me enough work between 9am and 3:30pm, then you need to reorginise your work plan. Also some of the teaching methods fail, it caters for those who remember by writing things down, where people like me who remember by doing something struggle with classes more. Which would surprise me because of the fact that I passed maths and science for 3 years in highschool without even trying, and I was placed very high, gaining many distinctions in Math competitions throughout my schooling career, yet I never find a use for any of it outside school, apart from making my a little too proud about my acadmics. In all honesty I have had to stop doing sports because of homework, and my friend had to do the same assignment 5 times because his teacher hates him due to his religion. He can't even complain to the Dean as all the staff are very good friends (it was a 5000 word assignment each time too.) All homework has done for me and my friends is pretty much take as much of our youth as possible, I generally got it all done all last minute so I could have a life, and which is why I am not doing years 11 and 12 as I will be literally wasting 2 years on them.
  20. my old comp seemed to have issues with RuneScape, and only RuneScape at a certain extent, it was slow, but RS was rediculously slow...
  21. arrrr! ye landlubber have a problem with ol' Cp'n One Eye John?
  22. if it is the same amp as a guitar amp, then it will have levels and stuff with each, and you will be able to have each at different volumes, overkill tbh, I personally would just go with some speakers with a nice bass, I myself will be getting a set soon, sub broke and speakers seem to be getting worse :?
  23. if you live in Aus then buy the latest PCUser mag, they have the Perfect PC software, which I used for the custom computer I will get once I have the money (plus your local computer shop will have it built with the OS installe quickly and cheaply, the nearest one to me will even let you work a bit with the building process, which I will look forward to seeing as I will be working with comps for the rest of my life  )
  24. this here is a nice Aussie site to tell you the best price for the speakers once you find the kind you like (you can even just search speakers to find some) http://staticice.com.au/
  25. move to right near your local internet exchange, buy the fastest ADSL 2+ plan and buy a faster computer, problems solved...
