Even is Smithing got new armour theres no point to it, Barrows is the most-used armour now. Jagex made smithing terrible by making everything buyable. An idea of mine would be to be to make a new part of RuneScape where you can't bring anything inside and must use your own skills to make stuff (and since GE spoils alot of things,we could make a completely different set of armour that can only be traded player to player. since we have the trade limit thing it's do-able without introducing RWT)

Love the idea :thumbsup: I think you should have a high Summoning level though, something as cool and useful as that would be a great excuse to get a better level :thumbsup:

How long does it last? (timer-wise) I support :thumbsup:

I think 99 Ranged is more then enough as a req :thumbsup: since the other accumulator only requires a little quest.

Hopefully I would've got another 2 skillcapes in 2 years :thumbsup: (please be a Summoning cape... :pray: )

do you think you can make a pic to help give us an idea on your suggestion? (doesn't have to be an epic pic, just some crappy 5 min work on paint) cos I can't see how your idea is gonna be any better then the current one.

Nope. AFAIK, none of them even have the skill capes. They have SkillCapes and GodSwords now they just don't have the emotes and stuff (either way the real ones are better then the Private server ones) they just rip from the official client and stick it in the crappy server they made :shame: plus they have barely advanced in graphics or anything, we're in HD and they're still in old graphics... (they don't have things like G.E, Chaos Tunnels, things like that)

is it really that hard to press two numbers? just answer the question, may be annoying but it's not exactly life threatening :roll:

It's quite a good idea, but there needs to be some some issues to be sorted out. 1)Private Chat is meant to be PRIVATE, so you should disable the ability to view they're private chat. 2)apparantly reading the stats of another player is an invasion of privacy (highscores must be banned if thats the case) So you could make it so the only thing you can see is the game window (the screen with the player in it) and nothing else. 3) bankpins could be discovered so you could make it so if your 5 squares away from a bank it automatically disables. I think it's a good idea, it could be like 'accept aid(s :P )' where it's optional. I would love to watch my friends taking the GodWars bosses on while i'm chilling out looking for something to do :thumbsup:

The RSOF is bad as it is with just members, I doubt adding f2p players would make much of a difference. regardless of levels.

How good a skill is depends on how you use it. even in P2P I find mining a good way to earn money

Lol tight bugger :P £6 too much??? thats one hour of work for me (£6.50 ph ftw) The new guy has got me impressed, I hope he can turn this game around and make it even better : My only question would be: 1) will all the skills get something added to make them better (more rooms, more familiars, more things to smith ect:) and mabey if they could have a 'survival'-based' minigame like the imfamous Nazi zombies on COD:W@W lol (yeah i'm addicted to it)

Not even worth thinking who will win :lol: AQ is a rubbish game, not worth paying £15 for (even if you only pay £15 once and never have to pay again I wouldn't bother.)

RSOF: 7800 before i got banned Tip.It: not even 1K but to be fair, RSOF haas a more active forum (and more fun for arguments)

I like the idea, much more fairer :thumbsup: Mabey every year you get to choose only 1 item from previous years? that way recent players can still get an old item and no-one gets flooded with people running around with every item in the past 3 years of seasonal drops : people will complain as hell and do the "we paid good money therefore we deserve" rubbish but your idea still gives them they're 800M back so that makes up for it :P Seasonal items were made for FUN not for easy wealth.

I can't imagine Sailing as a skill, a minigame yeah but a skill? Gratz you hit 99 Sailing, you can now sail in lava? nah! But then again I could be proven wrong, remember everyone saying "POH would never come because Jagex can't make things like that!" or "Summoning will never happen cos having a summon would lag the game up and the world would end" only to find eventually we ended up with 2 fantastic skills? :mrgreen: Might aswell sit on the fence and wait and see :D

People bump old threads all the time... it's nothing special, we've had that charity one and Zezima's interview bumped up alot.

You mean like the teaser trailers most Developers make months before making a new game? Cos i'd love to see something like that :thumbsup:
