I have a nice idea. Make a quest that will somehow ignite some of the "veteran" feeling back into the player, whatever that may be. Say at some point during the quest you lose your stats, making you a "newb" for the duration of the quest. Forcing you to run from scorps in the scorp pit, mine tin and copper south of varrock and run to lumb to smelt it, than back to varrock to smith it etc.. I see myself having to gather bits of the cape from around Misthalin and Asgarnia and re-doing fractions of old quests, speaking to old quest characters like the beggar in varrock and the drunk dude in the blue moon inn. That would be kinda cool. But my guess is that you can just buy it straight off Thessalia in the varrock clothes store. :rolleyes:

i doubt they will make a 10+ year cape since it wouldnt be worth the time and effort, seeing as there aren't really alot of players still around from 10 years ago, although many claim to be.

RS is a point-and-click 3rd person view game. Implementing certain aspects such as the ones mentioned in this thread won't bring RS anywhere near WoW, much less make RS a WoW clone.

That's very true about the fake women that play. Apparently their all from florida and they will have names like Sarah/amy/Jess. lol. On runescape you can tell the fake girls. Blonde hair, pigtails. And they usually act like a boy. Other then that I kinda don't like being called a guy player. But who else to blame, but 12 yr old boys. But I end up going around with my fiance on rs usually so I don't really get that guy comment much, which I'm happy about. As for me 22/f/nj name is Lisa. I don't quite get it. You don't get pestered alot because you go around with your fiancé in the game? And your fiancé has a much larger, muscular body in the game hence frightening away the immature 12 yr olds who otherwise would harrass you in-game? :ohnoes:

True, albeit humorous that RS is 10+ years old and first picking up on things now :thumbup: I even recall a time period where updates were made to make the game even MORE monotonous, tedious and painstaking in the form of the fatigue update and random events every couple of minutes. :mrgreen: Oh well, better late than never.

I have to second this statement. Playing casually I have levelled a character in WoW from 1-80 within a months time. With the new expansion I got from 80-85 (the new max level) in a little over a week. And I didn't play every day. Also I have the 2nd best pvp weapon in the game for my druid, what did it take to get it? 18 wins in the arena. Each match took on average 1 minute to complete, albeit I could only win 6 matches and than my weekly points would be capped, which is why it took 3 weeks to get the weapon. But all in all I spent 18 minutes of actual playing to get the 2nd best weapon. People who say WoW has more no-lifers need to get a clue. I've played both games and WoW is defo more friendly towards a casual gamer with regards to achievements VS time spent in game.

They probably thought it made you look like a botter :P I'm 100% sure that was the reason lol. Funny how they think someone would bot on a char named Autobot, and not "abc123def" or some name like that, besides it was level 3 with 1 in all skills :mrgreen:
