The image above is concept art for the Veteran cape. Players whose accounts are more than 5 years old will be able to wear this cape.

and i like the fact that it's not the same as achievment capes.. but 5 years isn't that long IMO, i think a lot of people now have been playing 5 years..

I can't believe E3 is winning, it's disgusting.

E4's where it's at; can't believe no one's showing any love for it.

Current winner looks awesome (even the flames).

It looks pretty good, the problem is I don't want it to look too good, meaning it overshadows the other capes. I mean, it is relatively easy to get considering at this point in time many RS players have played more than 5 years. That being said, I'm wondering what the 10 year cape will look like.

Why do they insist on using the same shade of blue for everything? It's the exact same blue as the cwars cape which just looks horribe IMO. Would like it much better if it was the dark blue of the agility cape. In regards to the designs I chose:

 

A2 B2 C4 D3 E2

 

E3 does look pretty awful, not as bad as E4 but still pretty bad. Flames on a cape just look poor regardless IMO.

This, except with back design D3 is what I voted for.

 

On the current winning design, the phoenix thing looks dumb, and the flames are ugly. Not a fan of the narrow and deep hood either.

A3 B1 C1 D4 E2 which is pretty simple I think. Frilly capes are useless.

This is exactly what I picked. I can live with the winning results, but it really does NOT look great. Looks very cluttered.

Another cape for the rack by the looks of it, most of the designs look awful tbh, I just hope it turns out better than I imagine it will... :mellow:

I'd have to agree that my only gripe with the cape is if E3 is selected to the be the bottom trim. Something like E2 gives it a very nice and neat end.

 

10yr cape will hopefully be even better. About a year or two off for me, assuming they count F2P days.

I could go with the current winning cape except the damn trim. I mean if rest of the cape is going to be detailed and symmetrical why does the trim have to be so random. Just different shapes thrown in together. Yeah it looks like runescape flames from the past but that doesn't mean it should be like that. :angry:

is this cape going to be one piece? or are the hood and cape separate like the skillcapes?

I liked A2, majority liked A2.

I liked B2, majority liked B3.

I liked C4, majority liked C4.

I liked D1, majority liked D1.

I liked E1, majority liked E3.

 

So unless the majority shifts, I guess I'm getting... 3/5, 60% what I want. Meh, not bad. But the E3 border is so fugly.
