Realistically..
Whip on accurate until 80 attack, then going for a chaotic rapier would be best. But controlled isn't that much worse I think, especially if you're new to dungeoneering. Slayer is not great for money by any means, but it's good combat xp. With a black mask, slayer helmet or full slayer helmet you get a full sixth bonus to your attack & strength level - that's turning a 305 hit into a 355 hit (roughly, rounding etc. can change that). You also get that bonus to ranged level and magic damage, which is nice (but ranged is faster chinning).

Might want to read this post and the associated thread.

Making money
Green/blue dragons are your main option. Long-term, frost dragons. Farming/dailies as usual of course. You can hunt blues in Taverly and the resource dungeon there, cannon + war tortoise, super set, piety and go. No real guide needed, the fastest way to bank would either be Taverly lodestone or Falador teletab. Green dragons means either the west spot (north-west of Edgeville) or the east spot (next to the Clan Wars arena), cannon and the same stuff as blues, but you might find pkers. Bring a few brews, a restore and an emergency teleport (glory also works). Bank with a games necklace to Burthorpe, then to Clan Wars to the dragons.

First 99 skill?
I'd say go for summoning. It has a great reward at level 99, which every other skill lacks.

Upcoming combat changes
I rather like the random system. Simply comparing attack and defence rolls and the highest wins, would be very boring, even with various moves and such (the moves probably end up being like the four elemental spells anyway :P). You could have a compromise system where the attack roll goes from, say, attack level - max attack roll rather than 1 - max attack roll. But taking out the random really wouldn't work in RS, imo.

Untrimmed slayer
Should be relatively easy provided you use a cannon very much, use all elite diaries on slayer, all random event lamps on slayer, all penguin/jack of trades xp rewards on slayer etcetera. Also, don't do Livid Rock creatures.

Where to start after getting P2P?
Slayer's a pretty pointless skill unless you like it, so idk how that's going to work out for you. It doesn't make money and it's the slowest skill in the game by a long stretch. Some slayer help anyway: [hide] The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Steadfast/Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet (Slayer helmet, black mask) [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +10 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +20 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, black dragon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 70 prayer and King's Ransom - piety 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. [/hide] Personally I would work on farming, summoning, Manage Thy Kingdom and piety (70 prayer & King's Ransom iirc). Dungeoneering to level 80-85 will be great too if you can use a chaotic rapier. Remember that in P2P, you can use potions and prayers in combat all the time. It's crucial to getting a decent kill speed. Stock up on super sets and pray pots, you'll immediately notice a huge difference compared to F2P.

Mutated jads
I posted this list a while ago (on your thread :P): Mutated jads were quite common at my level, but I think slayer level changes assignment frequencies (also combat level). Based on that list I'd say they were a better block than fire giants or abyssals anyway, vyres are probably even better though. You want to block the six most common tasks you don't want to do - gargoyles, abyssals, torts and desert/jungle strykes are based on Zarfot's task frequencies iirc.

When to sell my chins?
I think it's more efficient to do grenwalls at 97-98 or so if you have no bossing skills & need money to get them (herblore, prayer, summoning). That way you get some levels out of it at least, and it's still an equivalent of over 2m/hr I believe?

Money Making: Tormented Demons
45-50 kills per hour is very low though, you should be getting 55-60 with a steel titan. Unicorn would be 30-35 probably. And non-claw drops add quite a bit of gp/hr, probably 5k per kill in rune items and diamonds and about 10k in armour pieces. Using these figures, it's about 60k loot per kill, so about 1.5-2m/hr for unicorn and 3-3.5m/hr with titan.

Money Making: Tormented Demons
It depends a bit on your stats. Without a unicorn, 1.5-2m/hr tops?

do any boots provide range defence?
The old rogue boots provided +2 ranged defence, as do the new factory boots from the Flash Powder Factory. Master runecrafter boots provide +2 ranged def too, and frog-leather and insulated provide +1. Trickster and Vanguard boots provide +9 but they only work in PvP minigames. List of boots by ranged defence.

My Little Brony: Friendzone is Tragic
A true master of dungeoneering  Master white knight is like 5 hours, 10 hours tops... very fun to get too. Actually it took me a little under 2 hours to get the master knight starting from scratch lol. Tell the random crap I'm killing to drop me champion scrolls ffs 10 minutes for mummy champ scroll, no problem :D. And yes I forgot to take into account master knights being 10 kills each... using my tormented demons setup (hand cannon/titan/maul) at the time, shame they have no drops because that was fun :D.

Training dungeoneering.
Dungeoneering isn't that slow at lower levels. 1-80 in a week will require a lot of playing but it can be done. Just solo the last half of the floors you can access, medium floors, complexity 6. Do the first/lower half of the floors small, complexity one. Rinse and repeat until you hit 80.

Mage Staking
You don't need it on to cast Charge, but the bonus damage won't take effect unless you wear the cape.

Getting a Void Deflector?
Halberds are the only unit to have both range (= no retaliation) and more than 100 health (= not one-hit by bombard/scout/soldier/archer so they can retaliate). They are quite powerful for their cost. Keeping a knight or two also helps for one-hitting champions with Battle Cry, as some people love to Regenerate them a lot. I also like to keep an archer to one-hit the weaker units, with battle cry if neccesary. You want to have as many commands as you can, but expensive isn't always better. Charge and Battle Cry are practically required, Shield Wall is nice (maxes damage done to a unit to 100, so it doesn't work on units with only 100 health), I personally like Chastise as well, and Vigilance - Chastise doesn't work on the last unit and Vigilance has some issues with range. Winds of Fate is fun but not neccesarily the best, and I'd rather have another halberd or two than Regenerate or Bombard. Stoicism I haven't used but it seems useful enough.

Hi Dark Bark, Please use the existing thread on the Squeel of Fortune, or read this thread where this has been discussed before. Thanks :).

general fight cave strategy
Yes, it's just a bit harder. I would recommend melee on everything before Jad also because the defence makes everything very comfortable. But get 70 prayer first, bring Ahrim's top/legs and poly for Jad.

Review Fight Caves Set Up
Bad idea, I'd go with taking him to half health then clawing, that works. Incidentally void is bad for clawing, even just goliaths beats it iirc?
-
CT fiends setup
I would say, max strength with helmet scrolls beats void without helmet scrolls. You can use some magic defence chest/leg armour (elite void, Karil's, ganodermic) if you take too much damage.

The Kiln - My setup so far.
Zaryte has lower dps than kxbow, but a longer range I think? I wouldn't bother.
