  1. You shouldn't make flatpacks really - if you dislike getting the rocks so much, try getting two stealing creation hammers. Have them in your inventory with a saw and the strange rock bag, and build mahogany dining tables in your dining room. This is not efficient, but it's a lot of xp for the few clicks per table (6*120*2, 1440 xp per table) so you'll have a reason besides strange rocks to train con. Motivates me every time.
  2. Which shows that battle robes are not worth it when bursting, you should at least be barraging.
  3. Will using the Clan Citadel/clan rings be efficient at 1m/hr? How about 5m/hr? ^Jmod probably doesn't know the answer but it's worth a shot.

38917 xp, that's xp doubled right? So you'd use four per hour. Not to mention that a dragon hatchet chops faster. (it's possible to get over four hatchets per hour, but RSwiki calculates that the speed increase from dragon makes clay axes inefficient even at 60k points per game).
  5. I'd say rock lobs straight away, smoke barrage with extreme magics could work, starting at 81 you'll need only 20/30 doses per hour, which means you can easily fit all the xmage pots for about an hour of barraging. At level 82 you'll only need 15/20 doses, so that's two hour trips, at 83 you'll need 12/15. If you don't want to bother potting just yet you can of course use ice burst. You can get 200-250 crims/hr barraging, and about 200k magic xp or thereabouts? That gives you some ~55 hours to 99 magic, say upwards of 12k crims equivalent? That's around 4m xp, not enough to get a yak but close to a unicorn.

Eh 60-70k/hr and 30-35k/hr? Now that the penance horn works with lava, it increases your xp rate from 33k to 55k xp/hr if you can fill it fast. Since you will get the full gold mining suit well before you can start concentrated ores, you might as well speed up the xp.
  7. Well I did say 71 farming because the first rsn linked by the OP's post has 71 farming, not because that's the requirement for snaps. Guess that slight joke failed to catch . I wouldn't farm strawberry really, it slows you down for small xp gains. Especially when you are on juju since it'll cost you another dose. And as for farming gp/hr, it's about 5 minutes per run for anywhere from 100 to 300k profit on average. That is the equivalent of 1.2 to 3.6m/hr, the first being beaten by all bosshunting moneymakers, the second by Nex only. If you value farming xp, the equivalent income goes up of course, but don't forget that the best moneymakers tend to give effigies and charms and combat xp as well, which farming doesn't.
  8. I do believe your signature is missing dinos. Also, nice first post.
  9. You could argue that they changed Jagex's property in a way Jagex does not want, at knife-point. I'm not sure what the punishment for that is though. It wouldn't be theft, but it'd be damaging goods? Either way it sucks :S.
  10. It's not great, if you're 71 farming you should try snapdragon which is worthwhile if you're not bosshunting.
  11. On some bosses accuracy is an issue but even then, the only reason to use a warrior ring would be risk. The berserker ring is better.
  12. Try doing each quest you have access too and get those quick total levels. Fremminik Islands is a great goal for you now, it provides a very good, cheap helmet. Getting a dragon defender would be good too, it's not bad xp either. Some sort of better platebody would work too, I think, you can go for a barrows plate or proselyte (requires Sea Slug quest). The first thing you need to know about p2p combat is that prayer and potions are crucial. It's not like f2p combat where you click and wait for something to die, eating fish as appropriate. You have to watch at least your attack and strength levels, your prayer level, your special attack bar and your familiar timer/special bar. With the right levels, you will never have to eat fish again. [hide] The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +10 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +20 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, black dragon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. [/hide] That's my concise slayer guide, but it's more for advanced slayers. You can simply search Tip.It or Google a term to find if you can get it and how. Getting into farming is very worthwhile, 85-99 farming is worth some 300m gp (profit). Getting 70 prayer and piety is very good too (requires King's Ransom iirc). There is a lot of things worth getting, this is based on slaying for combat stats (99 slayer will max attack/defence/strength/hitpoints/ranged/summoning and take a chunk out of magic too).
  13. Prayer potions may be cheap, but they are also very slow, about three times as slower than the lower extremes I'm pretty sure.

It's basically brute forcing the Kalphite Queen in a team: Bandos, maul, max offence gear, run when she attacks you and otherwise just pray mage+turmoil and attack. Solo, you won't last two kills if you're tanking unless you use torva + divine. Ranging allows you to kite her much better, just use Armadyl/ccbow/shield with prot mage and run.
  15. My best 40-minute run to chaos tunnels waterfiends, on task, with triple charms, got me over 400 crimson charms + assorted green, gold and blue charms. I was averaging well over 200/hr equivalent crims without triple charms. That being said my average was more like 360 crims and 10-15 blues in 40 minutes with an iron titan. Since you're not 95+ summoning, barraging is the best way to gather charms. You're also more in need of magic than melee xp.
  16. I'd wait a bit, use a small amount of charms to get to fruit bats and make all greens into those, use crims at 85 (swamp titans) and blues at 89 ( geyser titans).
  17. Dharok's is at a disadvantage for slayer of course - you can't use a slayer helmet or defender, and the greataxe isn't a stab weapon, so on all metal dragons it's not really viable. Your max hit in Kuradal's would be 1109, outside Kuradal's would be 1112 (but with a lower minimum hit of course) and on ice strykes it'd be 1152. On undead tasks it'd be 1244 if you wouldn't die all the time from not having a nose peg (since abberants are the only undead worth doing). For rapier it'd be 656 max, 672 in Kuradal's (though possibly slightly higher), 696 on ice strykes. So at 7/4th hits per Dharok's hit, that gives us 559 vs 574, 576 vs 623 and 596 vs 644. The second number is rapier avg damage in 7 ticks at 100% accuracy, the first Dharok's. Of course the rapier is also more accurate (fsh, defender) and has less overkill loss. Also this is for max gear with 989 lp lost. If you didn't have Bandos, Dharok's would gain ground, and if you didn't have a rapier even more so.
  18. Should be noted that if you are about 55m from turmoil, and you dungeoneering to a rapier with farming as Tieszen suggests, you will be very close to turmoil anyway so you might as well get it. Turmoil comes with soul split which is all the healing you need on slayer tasks, and protect magic + antifire + ss flashing can replace superantifire for blue dragons, probably iron dragons, and steel/mithril/black dragons at higher melees.
  19. It depends on how highly you value your summoning xp. Right now geyser titans cost about 2440 gp more for about 88 more xp. If that's worth it to you, go for it. Lava titans are likely the best to make but only for the obsidian charms you already have, don't go gathering them.
  20. It isn't the percentual increase in cost that matters (e.g. 1000x times more expensive) but the absolute cost increase. The percentual difference in cost between 0 gp/xp and 100k xp/hr and 1 gp/xp and 200k xp/hr is an undefined factor (infinite, you could say) but the break-even point is at 200k gp/hr which makes the second method very cheap compared to the first.
  21. Fastest xp would be barraging monkey skeletons, ice would mess with them forming a proper 3x3 square but you may be able to avoid that. Either way you can cast up to 1200 barrages per hour at max speed and with a staff of light that's about 1750 gp per cast, giving you up to 2.1m expenses per hour (likely a little less) for up to 400k xp per hour, maybe less. 6 gp/xp for that amount of xp/hr isn't bad at all.
  22. I would first decide if you want to remain level 3 combat, or that you want to remain 10 hp or even just 'low combat'. Because there's some rather nice quests out there you won't be able to do without gaining at least some combat levels, and magic, defence and prayer levels will make a huge difference when dungeoneering or even just running past some high-levelled monster. Without teleports, farming loses much of its profitability, as you can't get to the Ectofuntus patch (unless you get prayer levels), or the Trollheim patch (the trolls would slaughter you). Catherby, North Ardougne and South Falador are all available to a level 3 with teletabs. I agree with Hedgehog that agility would be very convenient first, unlocking herblore might also be a good idea, and I guess simple things like Knight's Sword (28 free smithing levels, 10 mining required) and Doric's Quest (gets you level 10 mining).
  23. It's very convenient, I have my potion tab that way as well. I'd say, sort your bank according to branches of the game: Slayer tab, for example: Bandos chestplate and tassets, Karil's top, elite void skirt, fire cape, soul wars cape, Ardougne cape 4, chaotic rapier, whip, chaotic maul, cannon, cannonballs, steel titan pouches + scrolls, yak pouches and scrolls, dragon boots, fsh, barrows gloves, knock-out aura/reverence aura, Ahrim's body and legs, staff of light/chaotic staff, herbicide, bonecruncher, infernal urns, gem bag, slayer rings, ferocious rings, berserker ring (i), seer's ring (i), infinity boots, arcane spirit shield/celestial surgebox, prayer potions, overloads, extremes, antifires, antipoison, brews, fire surge runes, home teleport tabs, dragon defender, maybe dragonfire shield, arcane stream necklace. Then you can have a farming tab: dibber, spade, teleport runes/tabs, fertile soil runes maybe, seeds, ectophial, Ardougne cloak 4, explorer's ring 4, saplings if you grow trees, herbs, witchdoctor mask, juju farming potions. Since these runes overlap with slayer and alch runes in other tabs, many people make a magic tab. Skilling tab: chisel, hammer, needle, moulds, (uncut) gems and other resources, pickaxe, adze, maybe hatchet, alch runes, lava titan pouches, rock lobster pouches, feathers, heavy rod, goldsmithing gauntlets, urns, runecrafting pouches. Non-slayer combat tab with your other helmets and shields, chaotic longsword maybe, chaotic crossbow, Armadyl, all Nex items, spirit shields, void, unicorn pouches and scrolls etc.. This tab also needs overloads, brews and restores/ppots and yak/steel titan items, so people tend to split pots and sometimes summoning. General tab: partially charged teleport items, cash/trading sticks/ecto-tokens/tokkul and such, commonly used items and temporary items (court cases, strange rocks). Took some my own items as example, I really need to sort it myself too :P.
  24. 6 hours for world 6, 4 hours for pro teams.
  25. Taking 575k/hr, doubled that's 1150k, about 2.6 hours to empty the horn, if you take 4 hours to fill, the question is whether you can make money for the additional mage logs in 1.4 hours. You need about 4k logs?
