  1. ^Pretty much what Havoc said, I'd grind out those last 3 prayer levels (farm while you get an elite diary or whatever) then go DKS. That said, it's possible to tribrid even without soul split/ovl/yak, just not as efficient.
  2. Your reason for preferring an onyx ring is based on not wanting to take one for the team, which is fine and all, but you'll get faster kills when everyone takes one for the team. You're essentially settling for second best because your teammates do it too. As for eeks/spectral being better than divine/ely, that's just ridiculous. Nex has plenty of multi-target attacks and melee attacks that are affected by the latter two and not by the former two (ely/divine have higher melee defence, which helps with tanking as well), not to mention that the straight-up damage reduction more than makes up for the lower magic defence. If you don't want to tank, that's fine, but that doesn't exactly show team spirit, which is crucial at Nex. Thirdly, I'd like to remind you to not call people 'kid'. It's patronising, and it doesn't make you cool (quite the opposite really).
  3. Lightning > fry internet > no rs :(. Back now, 5 pages of H&A done, lol.
  4. The server saves every now and then, so if it crashes it may rollback for a few minutes. If there was a problem with saving, that could extend it but it's a stretch.
  5. I blocked desert/jungle strykes, warped tortoises, fire giants and gargoyles, aquanites not unlocked. I do abberant spectres, irons, steels, miths, black demons, black dragons, dagganoth, hellhounds, bloodveld, terror dogs and kalphites (can't do dark beasts or ice strykes yet). I also do blue dragons because I want the money and I like 2-hitting them (not a great reason but whatever :P). I used to do wyverns and waterfiends as well, I'd now skip wyverns since I hit 99 summoning, but waterfiends are still a titan playground. I'd do ice strykes for magic xp mainly (if you're not already getting 99 fast enough through skilling, it's probably worth it at around 200 xp per fire surge, 1k+ casts per hour).
  6. You can't cast wave/surge spells on lunars, so there aren't any spells you will need those charges on, unless you cast spellbook swap. As for saving bank space, you'd have to have an exact 1:1:7 ratio of blood:death:air runes at all times.
  7. If you're completing the collection and getting high dungeoneering, upgrade your rings. Otherwise, ccbow opens up Nexing.
  8. A dungeoneering surgebox will hold 125 charges. One charge is added by using 1 blood 5 air or 1 blood 1 death 7 air on the box, depending on setting. If you set it to waves it will take only blood and air, and each charge will replace one casts' worth of those runes in wave spells you cast. You can set it to surge for the same effect with surge spells. Surface surgeboxes are the same, but they will hold any number of charges and you will get a critical hit every fifth hit, provided you keep casting continuously.
  9. If you normally make money by killing green/blue dragons, I'm pretty sure it's efficient to do blue dragon/abyssal tasks. Other than that, farm runs should about cover cannoning if you do enough (when you can, really).
  10. While it's recommended to practice (as xpx said above) you're going to have to do a large sometime, and you may still mess up. Don't worry too much about it, but learn from it. As for people being rude, there never is a reason to be rude, but it's not against guidelines.
  11. I hope they mean you can buy every possible aura from just one month of membership (or at least, the best ones in each category or similar).

If you have free cash, get turmoil, it'll help tons (prayer book unlocked after a quest, look it up). You can either melee or range or hybrid, melee is fastest, range slowest. Melee gear would be simple Bandos/defender etc. with a soul wars cape, range gear would be Armadyl (with fsh) and a handcannon (with soul wars cape again, 95+ fm required). When hybriding, use melee gear with acp/acs switches. 3 overloads should be enough, you'll need 8-10 super prayers (10-12 regular/super restores) depending on your prayer level and whether you go with curses or not. Keep praying turmoil/piety at all times. You can bring claws and/or eee as you prefer, as many brews as you have spaces left, vengeance runes or not, any random item works really. At Jad, you can either use your maxed offence gear and try to kill him in two claw specials and your best dps after that, but with 94 strength and no turmoil and no vengeance that's not a safe bet. You can also use a combination of deflect curses and vengeance to kill him (the healers won't spawn if Jad doesn't take damage from weapons past half health). Without turmoil, being on curses will greatly reduce your melee damage output and therefore overall speed.
  13. For tormented demons, I believe void deflector would be pretty good, as it saves you a switch (defender) and you are using a one-handed primary weapon anyway. But both Karil's crossbow and handcannons have higher damage outputs than rune crossbows.
  14. Dragon full helms do drop from the dragons themselves but they are incredibly rare, on par with visages or rarer. If you want to camp long-term, with a yak, I'd suggest Karil's with deflect melee and turmoil, flashing soul split. You won't need rocktail. If you swap Karil's skirt for an elite void skirt and fire cape for an Ardougne cloak 3/4, you'll gain 8 prayer bonus at a cost of ~10 magic defence, which means you'll have to flash ss ever so slightly more and increases trip length significantly. If you are good at ss flashing, full elite void with defender and rapier is the way to go.
  15. Doubling money in itself is not against any rules, provided you do it in one trade. If you don't, it's a trust trade even if you pay out (which we don't allow to be advertised on these forums, though Jagex does not ban I believe). If you don't pay, it's a scam which you can be banned for, both from the game and these forums. In short, don't double money, give your money away or keep silent. Locking this, question answered.
  16. I'm not sure there is a calc for this, there used to be one (by Grimy) but that may or may not have been accurate, as well as for teams mainly. My guess is you shouldd c1 up to 18ish at your level.

Chaotics/Nex gear degrade at something like 30 hours divided by the number of things attacking you, I think? I don't know about barrows, they degrade slowly anyway.
  18. RSwiki is plain, 105% wrong about this again. Most of the time, Karil's crossbow has way better damage output than the rune/chaotic crossbows due to the far higher speed. It's 1.8 seconds per attack versus 3 seconds, e.g. two-thirds more bolts towards the enemy. It's just a lot more expensive, at very high firemaking levels a handcannon is better. You'd only use the chaotic crossbow when you need massive accuracy (Nex, Kree, mithril dragons if you range them) or defence (Nex, Kree).
  19. It's alright to link the sheets directly, but not the site the links are on, because it's a forum that contains rulebreaking code (for moving the mouse).
  20. Thats really impressive but how many do you kill p/h? Also don't you have a Pack Yak? What set up do you use? Would have been able to bank 10k dragon bones.. :( Knowing him, he's maging them :P. Low kph, somewhat afk and magic xp.
  21. Grenwalls are only good at very high hunter levels with scentless potions, fruit bat and stuff, you need 90+ hunter to even consider doing them. Swedish, I do hope you're farming torstol and not toadstol . But mort myre fungus is a decent way to make money, though you get no xp. You could do slayer, only doing the tasks that are good/decent money, such as dragons, abyssals and such. This mainly because it's alright melee xp and charms, which would improve any combat moneymakers you might do after.
  22. Well if you repot every 3 normally, you're using 5 doses of extreme attack/strength per overload. Since overloads are about 67k each not valuing herblore xp, and extreme attack/strength potions about 10k together (again not valuing xp), you're paying another 228k per hour to use overload. If you would normally repot every minute, you're using 5 extreme attack/strength per overload, which actually only costs about 17k less than overloads do, so overloads are about 68k per hour more expensive. Repotting every 2 minutes is 5 extreme sets per two overload, or about 50k versus 134k, or about 168k gp per hour. If you'd normally also use extreme defence, you'd get about 16k for an extreme set, so repotting every minute gets you 5x16k versus 67k, making overload actually cheaper. Repotting every three minutes would be 5 doses per overload again, or about 26k versus 67k, 160k/hr for overloading.
  23. 90 cooking is a nice level, you only need 89 for Varrock elite but with wines the additional level is easy enough. Firemaking, as said, is rather good. 90 construction is nice, but at 91/93 you can start assisting it and get practically free xp, as few people actually assist con. The same goes for crafting except that you can use a potion to assist that.
  24. It's close to Taverly where I got my cape, yes? I had to kill something.
