Fury vs. Salve (e)
Do they now? Last I heard it was level boost. Either way I used your calc Grimy, so I guess it used different formulas than I thought it did :P.

Fury vs. Salve (e)
Max hit is: 5 + (level + 8 + style bonus)(gear bonus +64)/64 and max accuracy is the same. For level, I entered 125, multiplied by either 1.2 or 7/6, and multiplied by 1.15 for attack and 1.23 for strength (turmoil base boost). Style bonus is +1 level on attack and strength for controlled, +3 strength for agressive.

Fury vs. Salve (e)
It doesn't stack but without the helmet you'll get killed by spectres.

Fury vs. Salve (e)
I get 562 (fury) vs 554 max hit (same gear as above but with Bandos, also turmoil isn't at full boost) and the accuracy with a salve amulet is actually lower by a tiny amount. The fury seems to be better overall. Also, I failed the calculations like 10 times <_<. Whip doesn't have agressive :P. Edit: with totally maxed gear it's 632 vs 625 max hit, fury still more accurate.

Whats best way to use effigies.
~5m total melee xp to go, 70k xp/hr or thereabouts is 70+ hours and therefor 70+ expected effigies. You can either dump ~25 lamps (from effigies without RC stages) on runecrafting or ZMI to get 86 and dump all elite diaries (and stew Karamja) then (there are some diary lamps that require less/more than 86 I think, look into that to save the most dragonkin lamps). From that point you can stew for 91 rc effigies as well, so you want to open all those as well, you need almost 800k xp from 86 to get 88 to stew to 93 RC effigies. Elite diaries are about 150k xp each and if you can get each one that should be enough together with opening starved. After opening nourished you can either lamp the next levels and stew for the 95 rc effigies and finally the 97 rc effigies, or you can ZMI/peng/troll the levels between. Either way, all your effigies together should about cover 95-96 RC (with no ZMI).

Nomad
I did starting runs with monkfish and pray pots to get through the moves. Can't hurt to try. If you want to seriously upgrade your chances you're looking at 92 prayer or herblore, the first reduces how much you brew, the second how much you have to restore :). But ~5m expensive xp may not be in it right now.

High Alchs per hour
You can alch while fishing, but you will have to combine dropping and fishing. You can also alch while woodcutting, again dropping the logs, and while mining in the same way. You don't have to do anything special to alch during smelting gold. You can also alch while casting stun over and over for more magic xp and during combat. You can perhaps also alch during other activities such as agility but the question is if that's worth the hassle.

Can't access login server
So true. Next we'll all talk about how RS was much better when it was up and running, then about how the lack of bots drives up raw material prices. Finally, everybody will declare that the game will be dead in a year if they keep updating like this. Considering that this thread is basically spam anyway... no that's not encouragement!

This is the thread right now :P.

Decent money making methods?
First, go upgrade your rune defender to dragon. Then, kill green dragons. Actually you don't need the defender for that, unless you have superantifire potions, but it's a good item to have.

Indeed same here, seems something's gone wrong.

Hunter + What to spend money on.
Slayer averages over 1k cannonballs/hr, try 1.5k average to calculate how much you'll need. Of course you'll also make money back, I don't think slayer will cost you 50m for 99 even if you were to value your overloads at 0 and such.

Just a couple questions.
The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +10 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +20 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, black dragon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. It's worth farming herbs for cash and (cheap) trees and fruit trees and calquat to get to the better hebs quickly, until 85 farming for torstol. At that point, farm herbs only unless you really care for farming xp. If you want to max total for example, try farming torstol only until you feel like farming won't be done by the time all other skills are done, or when you have more money than you need of course.

Money through pvm
Ring of wealth is worth using at DKS most likely, though berserker (i) to tank supreme less is nice as well, and onyx/dstone (i) for accuracy and defence. It's also worth using anywhere ffa as a switch. Gp/hr of frosts is 2m/hr and up probably, tds higher with more effigies and charms but less combat xp (and steeper requirements skill-wise), corp isn't great until you get divine/elysian splits. Tribrid dks has kept its value quite well I believe, still 3m/hr but no effigies there.

Summer pies* and the aura saves money until 93 agility.

Slayer Masters?
Yeah, dark beasts and wyverns don't come into play until Kuradal (who assigns both, and both are worth doing below 99 summoning) and goraks, scarabites and warped terrorbirds are good powerslaying tasks, multicombat, cannonable and such. Scarabites are also really exciting in a sense (high-damage environment), and decent enough crims. On the other hand, banshees and especially crawlers are nice to cannon in the well, but red dragons are out of the way (unless you did Karamja elite) and things like spiritual warriors and kurasks are just... junk.

Chinning mummies
Mummies are very very bad at anything, if you want lower xp/hr and get charms then chin nechs (you need 2 more slayer levels though), or heck even chin skeletons and go waterfiends after that. That being said, chinning mummies is the same as chinning skeletons apart from that you are luring them, and that they don't respawn as fast so you can bring a crossbow to finish off the last one or two (applies to nechs as well, but those aren't agressive so should be lured with bronze knives).

[DevBlog] Clan Citadels
I hope it's fun. If it's not fun, I hope the rings are not efficient. But it doesn't sound bad as I read that, not at all.

itam's HC diy'er thread
Most impressive cloak you got there, shame you have another five or six better ones :S. But that many clues done is insane.

Auras
Sharpshooter is useful if you Nex, reverence for lots of things that require staying power but saves only 10k per use, knock-out is the only one that increases melee kph but only slightly, surefooted doesn't work beyond 93 agility, call of the sea doesn't seem to do very much, oddball is fun to watch?

Future Goals
Well there's the elite diaries/taskmaster you can go for and the 'special' first 99s: slayer, summoning, dungeoneering too in a way, runecrafting, hitpoints. You can also go for all completionist cape requirements besides levels (or besides levels and besides dungeoneering music tracks) or even for trimmed comp cape requirements.

Road to Max Cape
Go with the adze for 99 woodcutting and firemaking only if you don't want to split arctic pines. If you do teaks, do them with urns and perhaps juju woodcutting and alchs to finish off 99 magic as well. Magic in general can be done very easily while mining/woodcutting/smithing, so that's no worry. 400k/day from remote farming assumes you cast it every 15 minutes or so to check for diseased torstol, which can save you one patch per two farm runs if you keep it up. But I'm not sure if that's worth the time.
