  1. Damn I should have taken that screen of Pokemama <_<. I'll snipe some people if I see them.
  2. I'm fairly sure that Recci failed physics. You have to go faster than light to listen to non-current news.
  3. DG staves are too low xp to be viable I think. Tier 9 staves are 90.5 xp each, which means you'd need to craft around 600 staves per hour to be even close to the xp you can get at ZMI, not to mention that ZMI profits. However I'm not entirely confident that this 90.5 xp includes the knowledge that half the xp gained is actually magic xp. Entgallow logs are 60k each at the smuggler, so you'd need to gather 36m gp in dg to reach those xp rates. Other staves may be cheaper but they also give a lot less xp.
  4. You wear three void pieces + helmet, so you keep one out of the four: body/legs/gloves/defender. The highest offence from any of these pieces comes from the highest strength and attack bonusus. For the gloves, it's +12 and +12. For the defender, +6 and +24. For the chestplate, +4 and +0, for the legs +2 and +0. Not very hard :P.

All urns give +20% xp, the question is what the 20% is multiplied into :P. For example for mining, the double ores from Varrock armour apparently don't fill urns (never tested this myself). I'm also not sure how urns stack with SC/Penance.
  6. Void deflector with barrows gloves would give you a higher max hit and I'm pretty sure also lower accuracy (it's 1.1*(82+12+64) versus 82+12+24+64 which is 173.8 versus 182) though you shouldn't be training on anything that requires accuracy anyway. Incidentally it'd be worth getting a rapier first, which would also change this to 187 versus 194, e.g. a smaller difference, not that accuracy is the important bit here :P.
  7. You remember the part where you track chests with the alerter? You can do that to track an elite clue somewhere, I forgot the exact locations. Just follow the chicken.
  8. ^Leik is correct. Considering that mauls are very very useless on, say, zombies, he should get 70 rc asap to be able to mage them, and he should always focus on skeletons.
  9. If you are really poor and you are back to playing on the medium/long term I'd suggest dungeoneering. It's free and at level 81/82 you get a chaotic rapier (+94 stab +101 strength whip speed). You can easily farm herbs every few floors to make some money, too. http://forum.tip.it/topic/254632-daily-activities/ < another dailies guide
  10. It's not great to get before you can use it, but if you get it as soon as you can, you will have the most benefit from it, as you'll have it for the longest time. Same deal with imbued rings and chaotics. Short-term void isn't worth it but long-term it's a good investment (better than full penance for instance (ok not a challenge but still)).
  11. 98 summ and 95 hp today, yay.
  12. It's good, because Nex has rather high defence, which makes attack bonus useful, and because strength bonus beyond 500 max hit isn't as useful due to the cap. And the defence is nice.
  13. B& from DGS I went out for dinner with my junior college classmates, initially it was supposed to be 3 guys and 6 girls showing up, but due to last minute changes (idk how) I was the only guy who showed up  We ate at some Indian place and all the spice and curry has done cabbage to my system. Waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Wait wait wait. Hold the phone. You're a guy? Me and Gwyn should swap names soon, now only if I can get that green colour to carry over as well...
  14. Do No Evil gives you an elite clue for free. Farming-wise you are best off killing tds, or miths short of the ability to kill tds fast.
  15. Cavefish are pretty much monkfish, e.g. 40k/hr or so. Barbarian fishing gets me ~4.5 urns per lobster, so that's 4.5*1900*6 xp in 47 minutes, or about 65k/hr at level 80/81.
  16. Thieving would be good, it's good to have at 80 for dungeoneering. Hunter would be good too. And agility I guess. You don't need a ring of kinship to join a floor, just to start one. So you could dungeoneer as well.
  17. The void set is rather good actually, being used for tds, certain nex setups, corp, safe pvp (low defence mainly, high defence usually uses Ahrim's/Karil's/Torag's switches or similar), off-task metal dragons/chinning/random other monsters, team GWD (possibly even solo Kree w/ pernix top), also dangerous pvp if experienced enough, even for slayer it's not bad (void range > fsh on sufficiently low defence).
  18. Thanks for the pictures guys, now hang on as I delete them and please don't post any more ;). (done)
  19. That's 127 mage def and 273 ranged def with Karil's/Verac's helmet/CKS, and 123 mage and 296 range with tassets/spectral. The cks/skirt also has +2 stab and degrades, the spectral/tassets has +3 pray, +2 str and doesn't. All in all I think the spec is better also because you won't be raped by ranged attacks as much when you are forced to equip your defender/claws for anticrashing.
  20. Put it this way: a torso is about 2.5% more melee dps (less if you are already pretty much maxed in gear, with rapier/berserker (i) etc.). So for every hour you take to get it you'd have to spend around 40 hours melee training for a torso to be faster (torso is only used on task of course, off task you use void for powertraining, or Dharok's). On the other hand you could get a bcp by cannoning + meleeing some kind of dragon. You get melee xp, charms, effigies, and ranged xp as well. So the matter isn't simply torso versus no torso (torso taking 100-200 hours of training melee through slayer to be worthwhile) but torso vs bcp. And if you take, say, 15 hours to make the money for bcp and 3 hours for a torso, the question now is if the moneymaker gives you over 12 hours worth of xp. Considering the fairly nice melee, ranged, summoning and effigy xp, I'd say it's better to get bcp even if you don't intend to sell it, ever.
  21. None of the shields are really worth using imo. There's the chaotic kiteshield which is decent at DKS/Zamorak god wars, but at Bandos god wars you want magic defence too, so dfs and spectral are better, and at DKS you may want to use an arcane also because it doesn't degrade and gets you +30 mage attack and +3 prayer over cks (prayer being important for staying power, healing a lot less). Farseer is worse than arcane apart from when you need the melee soak (decent for tanking maul hits I guess). Eagle-eye beats spectral when ranging due to the ranged attack, but you'd only use it at solo Kree and perhaps Nex, and for those you want ccbow first anyway, so if you're not getting ccbow cause you won't use it you won't need eeks :P.
  22. Well, if you have a maxed main as in 2496 total, with a completionist cape, then I don't really know, but if you don't that's worth going for. I suppose if you did have one you could go for another on this account, but since you say you don't want to... I suppose you could do giveaways etcetera, if you're into that sort of thing? Dropping whips around W2 GE and see the reaction? Though that's hardly amusing for more than a few minutes.
