  1. You may be able to use your ring of kinship (that's how it works with parties anyway).
  2. Mauling them is actually pretty bad, if you want unprofitable crims you might as well go bursting :P. It's worth mentioning that in full torva you can maul them with a yak, using soul split, overload, brews for emergencies, and maybe even a dfs + cls switch. You're essentially gambling on not getting breathed on for more than x times, and with torva that x goes from 2-3 to 3-4 depending on how much you ss. Because you rely on ss so much I would only try this on task. The best cannon spot is on the other end of the dungeon in the small alcove, you can set up the cannon in the middle and lure wyverns over the cannon while picking up loot. I get around 150 crims/hr on task with rapier, but a lot less off task, about 130. I have tried stab and slash and I see no real difference, so I prefer to keep my rapier on whatever style I want xp in. I'll edit in a yak setup in a bit. Feel free to use this picture. You need about 58 minutes of overload per yak, so allowing a few mins to go from bank to wyverns that's 11 doses of overload. You need a little over 4 doses of prayer potion per dose of overload. You'll use around 2000 cannonballs per hour, and bank over 120 bones (I never counted the number, but you get just over 1 crim per kill average). For a two-yak trip, just add 3 overloads and 12 pray pots (since you'd store them in your yak anyway). For a 3 yak trip, another 3 overload and 12 ppots but that really starts to push it (you'd have 17 spaces filled from pots + pouches and a full yak).
  3. No task lasts long enough to require that much prayer. You're using 1 point per second before pray bonus with piety + protect, if you use proselyte + ardy 3 + fury you have +24 prayer bonus which gives you a 5/9 multiplier to that (e.g. 5 points drained per 9 seconds). That's about 45 seconds per dose (25 per dose restore), or about 80 doses per hour, 20 pots per hour. You can store 18 in a war tort, problem solved :P. With turmoil you are using 5/6 per second and restoring 30 per dose at least, so that's 36 seconds per dose without any prayer bonus, or about 13/10 times that with bandos + fire cape, over 45 secs per dose. Not to mention that you can tank iron dragons, steel dragons and black demons in bandos + fire cape. The only task you really have to pray on is miths.

Named that because they used to be a permanent dg team with 3 hexes in there (Grimy, Final, Rocked).

Proselyte/bandos with max offence gear, sw cape though, rapier, fsh. Steel titan scrolls in helmet. The difference between proselyte and bandos is very small. Steel titan pouch, 3 ovl, 5 doses of superantipoison, cannon, cannonballs, more scrolls. Or you can do 2 hr trips with 2 titans, 6 ovl etcetera, but you'll need proselyte and/or super prayer potions. Set up cannon in the spot shown in the guide (but one east or something, xpx commented on the thread so look at that). Pray turmoil + prot melee, ovl, antipoison, keep loading cannon, attack crawlers, have titan kill crawlers far away.
  6. ^That is some insane luck, now repeat that with a yak when you get one :P.
  7. Melee is almost as fast, about 5% difference between the highest killrates iirc.
  8. THIS IS MY BLOG. I ignore all the random spam Jimi posts on here.
  9. 79 rc :). Finished getting strange rocks but apparently I got them in only 4-5 days, got to wait 3 days to add the last rocks (hunter).
  10. No, but you'll be kicked if you haven't read the guidelines. Unless you're known in the cc (and you made clear you're not there to dg).
  11. You can use that gear, but I'd recommend black dragonhide +neit (no void) actually. Your current setup doesn't have enough darklight accuracy.
  12. Actually if you are going to use protect from melee and heavy melee gear, Verac's suddenly becomes rather good (at least in my experience of getting hammered). Protect prayers would indeed draw out a fight rather a lot, and if you pray you're essentially forcing someone to switch styles which I guess people cba doing. A good hybrid would switch and kill you I suppose.

There are different ways to play the game, much dependant on your setup. You should always have charge and battle cry. Without these it is impossible to put enough pressure on your opponent. Of course when defending, take into account that your opponent will probably have these commands. I recommend having some knights to be able to one-hit enemy champions (with battle cry), as this prevents regenerating them. For all other troops, knights will one-hit without battle cry. Archers are nice for their long range, I take one. I usually try to get a kill on an opponent's mage or archer for a quick 100 pts. Halberds can't be one-hit by archers, scouts or soldiers and they can attack more powerful troops without suffering the retaliation (and the following swift death, very effective versus vigilance). With shield wall these can survive one turn no matter what is thrown at them, unlike scouts which require a health boost in addition. You should count how many command points your opponent has. They get 25 per turn + the value of the troops they kill. The person who starts the game gets 0 points for their first turn. If they use a command, subtract the number of points the command costs. Similarly, keep a list of your opponent's commands and write down their cooldowns as you see them being used. You can usually guess what commands they have from the troops on the battlefield. For example if someone has champion - champion - mage - mage - knight, you would conclude they can only have up to (1000 - 200 - 200 - 100 - 100 - 100 =) 300 points on commands, of which probably 75 spent on charge and battle cry (each). This means your opponent will not have bombard (200 pts). It's important to keep your distance, too. Do not step into the range of a troop that can kill you. Take into account that charge will increase the distance a troop can go, and battle cry will increase the damage they do. Charge + battle cry on a simple scout will make it one-hit a knight from 12 squares away.
  14. Yay 80 agility, now for runecrafting. About 38 levels ahead now I think?
  15. 250k xp to all 80s, but it's all runecrafting xp :ohnoes:.
  16. It'd be much slower to solo. You should do your lower floors c1 and your higher floors c6.
  17. The amulet of zealots is mostly for safe pvp/no armour fights, I'm pretty sure the prayer drain is too much otherwise. Unless you pray flash. The prayer restore necklace is nice-ish but at 1 point per bone & no bonecruncher it's again only useful when pray flashing. The tome of frost is nice for the magic accuracy boost, but then again the only place you need that in f2p is safe pvp. The blastbox is again mainly useful for pvp. As are all gravite weapons.
  18. Red salamanders to about mid-way, then common jadinkos. You must use an arctic bear for them.
  19. 1) However high you like, if you want an arcstream asap then tears/pengs are too slow, but they are fairly convenient. 2) 59+ for abandoned 2 floors. Dgs would be easiest, otherwise friends or w117.
  20. This places a heavy weight on Michael. He mustn't make you cry yet he must max as soon as possible. I think the conclusion is that you have to speed up, Leik :P.
  21. Considering the banking time at dks & the value of hides I'd say yak > unicorn no matter what, but I agree that considering the amount of items dropped at dks (over 150/hr) means you'd rather note the bones.
  22. 1) Make 10 long posts. 2) Plaster them all over H&A 3) People copy them ??? Profit! 60m will get you extremes, I'd recommend getting that and a berserker ring if you don't have one already.
  23. ^To add to that, you can use Bandos over Karil's for the strength bonus, but that's only worth it on task (off task you use void) and it's a really bad idea for the chaos tunnels so it only works at under 95 summ. And only with soul split afaik. If you don't have the levels to use our waterfiends guide, you're basically stuck with weapons and armour worse than black hide/ancient staff. At that point it's probably not worth killing these at all.
  24. ^That's how I 'won' my only fast sc game ever. I called the rock and nobody came, so I was basically mining c5 the entire game :P. But yeah 45k pts seems very good for fast sc.
