Item Duping
Even if say a figure of 90% of the item will not be sold, a MASS abusing of this bug will still bring in plenty of enchanted bolts. Let's just say the crash of the ranged ammo has begun. onyx bolts wont crash either Their GE price is already less than their alchemy value + nature rune

Falling into lots of free time...
you have a pretty substantial list of incomplete quests, I would work on those Slayer/combat is always a good thing to train for money (as opposed to just for fun) boss hunting is a great money maker these days, and with new high lvl dungeons and bosses coming out, I don't see that changing. Skills like woodcutting, fishing, mining, runecrafting I personally would consider pushing these off since they're predominantly money makers. I can't see high level updates coming out for them that drastically change their roles or make them affect other skills either there are better ways of making money than those 4 skills these days anyways (ie slayer/combat)

Water fiends.
alot longer than using a zamorakian spear/saradomin sword and super pots edit: okay I'll stop trolling with z-spear or sara sword it would take ~ an hour it would be faster if you used piety of course with a BGS i'd expect it to take 90 -> 120 minutes as opposed to an hour

To summon or not to summon?
This can give you an idea of the cost/xp for each type of charm: green charms are more expensive and cost ~ 10 gp/xp red charms are cheaper at 3-5 gp/xp gold charms can be pretty cheap at ~3 gp/xp depends on the pouch ur making too http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AhdHFDsdlxujdFZkc1JCOUlwRjlpSGQtUWNYVUZicWc&hl=en

To summon or not to summon?
summoning is always useful why would you not train summoning? are you concerned that it will raise your combat lvl in PVP/BH worlds? because it doesnt not unless you're carrying summoning pouches/scrolls in your inventory or have a familiar active

Ice strykerwyrms and the removal of the Fire cape requirement
it was updated so that the ring doesnt affect deflect hits anymore i doubt they would make the fire cape affect the cannon

Magic Help
it costs 4 nats to cast entangle, versus 1 soul to cast stun :)

Mining/Smithing Gold
yes, gold ores will in fact still be appearing in your inventory as you cast the superheat spell The caveat as, you cannot cast the spell too quickly. Typically you can cast the superheat spell every 2.4 seconds, HOWEVER you must wait a full 3.0 seconds otherwise the second spell will interrupt your mining and force you to click the rock again. rule of thumb: when your superheating animation ends, you are free to cast another superheat
-
Mining/Smithing Gold
you can superheat gold ores while you mine them, without interrupting the mining You don't even need to click the concentrated ore rock more than once, so long as your timing is correct Sure, you'll lose money. But you'll get 99 mining + smithing + magic in the same time it would take you to get 99 mining off concentrated gold ores

new lands?
I've been digging up info on the RSOF, so 2 things, both probably herring's but anyways. someone mentioned that they saw a piece of the soul obelisk on the island? I personally haven't seen any based off the pictures from tip.it. Maybe he's just exaggerating Apparently Hilda means Battle and Torsdag means Thursday Torsteg's name isnt spelled exactly like torsdag but some people are making the connection I'm not sure why jagex wouldn't have just named him Torsdag if they wanted that to be a hint though, most players would not have caught the difference. so it sounds a little fishy. Other than that, not much info lying around

Cooking Guide from 1-99
I know this is your first guide but I'm going to rake you over the coals for now. this guide basically tells us how the majority of runescapers would think of training cooking. A guide really should be able to inform a good portion of the readers of something new. like mentioned, you should include pies/wines you could make mention that it takes exactly 2.4 game seconds to cook a fish you could make mention that alternating between two different cooking surfaces (a fire and a cooking range) can allow a dextrous player to exceed the 1 fish per 2.4 second limit you could mention when you stop burning certain foods with cooking gauntlets. I don't see cavefish/rocktail? there is a certain level you stop burning them with cooking gauntlets i heard the guide is a little too obvious. Even a skill like cooking has more nuance than "lets just cook the cheapest/fastest fish we can til 99" if you just know about it. I mean it's not bad for a new guide, but do much more research next time.

Item Flipping
flipping keeps the economy fluid. it helps assure that there is always a stock of items ready for sale at slightly higher price, and buyers for just a slightly lower price. Except in extreme examples like rares, staffs of light currently, where flipping doesn't apply. If everybody held onto the weapons and armors the perceived supply would be much much less, and prices would be much higher. Additionally, the economy would be less productive as a whole since people can't get the tools to hunt boss monsters, or train as effectively. *everything* would become much more expensive. losses from flipping are a small price to pay for an overall better economy for everybody When prices drop, people sell their items. This is the market's way of weeding out the players who don't need the weapons as badly. Only the players who actually use the item will be able to afford to keep it. Those who don't, will sell it to those who are more worthy. then of course, there are those people who keep items regardless. Either the items is too trivial to them to be worth selling, or they're just unfit for the economy.

Spirit trees with farming
What on earth you on about? There absolutely no proof what so ever that FTP3 is going to remove the staff requirement. he's referring to a comment made by a Jmod saying that people that love the idea of not having their bank cluttered by tool-like items such as lunar staffs, are gonna love fairy tale 3 Some people think this means we won't need lunar staffs anymore. It could mean a million other things too, but I would personally put money on the no more lunar staffs idea.

Spirit trees with farming
I'm gonna have to disagree here and say that etceteria > brimhaven I say if you have the ardougne diary completed up to the point you can change your watchtower teleport, etceteria is by far the best option brimhaven is accessable via the home teleport spell if you place your house @ brimhaven only other places I would rather have a house would be: Rimmington: single bush patch (not worth it imo) Taverly: good for summoning if you have pack yaks (few ppl do, and even so it wont be long til they reach 99 summoning, and kyatts aren't much worse) Yanille: good if you can't set your watchtower teleport to the center of yanille otherwise brimhaven is the best spot hands down. farming patch is the fastest way to restore favor, much faster than fish/coal/maples and you don't even need to you don't even need to remember to bring a hatchet beforehand It's just as quick a way to get to advisor ghrim as any other method, but if you're like me you like to wait as long as you can before withdrawing from KM etceteria spirit tree is by far the fastest way to restore approval rating on a daily basis

Statius Warhammer
i believe this is how it works: the moment you take it into combat, 1 minute is deducted from the weapon. so you should be able to use the spec 2-3 times per use, 60 uses per weapon 120-180 specs it would seem

Smithing Xp
adamant platebody no SC hammers -> 250k smithing xp/hour 19 gp/xp if you're interested in magic xp then: superheat gold ores -> 105k smithing xp/hour + magic xp 9 gp/xp or if you're interested in mining xp then: simultaneous mining of concentrated gold ore + superheating: (this is less clicking than you would imagine) 50k mining, 43k smithing, 38k magic xp/hour

Wyverns (slayer)
superantifires are useless turmoil activated 100% of the time turn on soul split when you need to heal and of course extremes Should I take prossy and switch between melee prot and soul split or just take bandos and flash soul split? if you can flash soul split go ahead and do it I'd bring bandos I think you're overestimating wyverns. You really shouldn't be taking more than 15-30 damage per kill they don't hit that hard. Definitely not enough to justify pro melee since only 1/3 of their attacks are melee. If you turn it on, chances are the next attack is still gonna do damage.

question about what to do
Superheating gold ores is cheaper than addy platebodies with SC hammers actually If you get 5 SC hammers per hour with a clan chat, addy platebodies are 115k smithing xp/hour @ 9 gp/xp superheat gold ores are ~105k smithing xp hour ~ 8.5 gp/xp, + about 90k magic xp/hour on the side smelting gold ores @ a furnace is always a good option. 80k xp/hour is possible, @ 3.8 gp/xp if you want cheap smelting gold ores @ a furnace is unbeatable thanks to living rock caverns

Fire cape compromise. New post by Mod Chris L.
I'm thinking of a 4 digit number, starting with 5. 14.5 million gp in runes to buy the right to kill ice wyrms!?! lol that's actually kinda fair since that's about the price tag of a single SOL drop but that's about 5 mil slayer xp in kuradal tasks...

Slaying Waterfiends
It's not really a huge difference. Defensive style just means that your 3 invisible levels are sent to defense as opposed to another combat stat. that's a negligible difference to your accuracy as compared to accurate, and a max hit difference of about half a damage point as compared to aggressive. the difference is of course even less so when compared to controlled. im pretty sure atk/str/def styles are geared more towards training of a stat than having any actual serious impact on how much damage you do.
-
Forcefields
jagex already said they have a plan for damage inflation, can't we just leave it to them? <_<
-
Bank loans
items as collateral seem like the only logical option, but for loan missed, cash is introduced into the economy, and an item is removed inflation's bad enough as it is. I honestly don't think I can think of a good way to implement this bank system Unless you simply accept any number of fatal flaws in the plan and implement it anyways.

Ancient Curses Lacking?
ancient curses are clearly biased to melee, but ancient curses are still better than normal prayers for magic in the end magic prayers only boost accuracy, not damage. And accuracy is only really necessary against targets with high magic defense. -10 to 25% of a target's magic/def lvl will do alot more than an extra +5% to your own mage level in terms of accuracy when the target's magic defenses are high.
