Not necessarily. Part of saving lives is timely care, right? Remember my MRI example from before? That's the kind of "timely care" sociallized health care has brought people in my country/province. FYI: No hospital in the states can turn you away if you need life-saving medical care. There is legislation in place to prevent it. They may send you a bill afterward, but they will help you.

If the USA does go to a national health care system, they should work it so that people can still use the private facilities that their insurance currently pays for. That way, they get the best of both worlds. A bit of food for thought: right now in Canada (at least in Ontario) the health care system can take upwards of 3 months to get an MRI at an "approved" clinic, usually in a hospital. If I go to a private clinic I can get one in under a week, but I have to pay for it myself. I've heard a lot of Americans want national health care. If they're not careful about how it is administered, it could be a case of getting what they want, but not wanting what they get.

Full mith sets (legs more than skirts) sell a lot better than just the plates. Slows down the training though...

If you're just looking for a fast and cheap 99, I understand that thieving goes very quickly and costs next to nothing.

I'm not sure making the hides tradeable is a good idea. They would quickly become overpriced as people try and buy their way into a set of Draconic armor. I originally envisioned the armor as a symbol of accomplishment, kind of like how you have to kill Elvarg to earn the right wear Rune plate. If the hides were tradeable, then anyone with enough cash could just buy the armor. I'm also not sure it should degrade. Although, maybe I'm not reading that part correctly. Do you mean that it will degrade like the gloves or berserker shield from FoG (ie: the stats go down but you can still wear it)? Or do you mean that it degrades like the corrupt dragon items (ie: crumbles to dust and is gone)? I think that degrading stats would be okay, but I'm definitely opposed to the armor crumbling and disappearing. A bit of clarification if you please. :

I name all of my game characters "Kaida" in one form or another. Most commonly Kadia or Kaidah. I came across it in high school when my then girlfriend (now ex-wife) was working on a social studies project, the one where you look after a doll that cries, and was looking through all kinds of baby names. "Kaida" is Japanese for "little dragon" and is most commonly a girl's name. Combine my love for dragons with my penchant for playing female characters in games and voila! My first character was named "Kaida_Halden". A combination that included part of my last name. When she got perma-banned for botting (*cough* :oops: #-o a mistake I've been sensible enough not to repeat), I made "Kaida23". Not because I was 23 at the time, but because I liked the way it sounded. Probably because 23 has the same number of syllables as my last name and ends with the same sound.

That's great. Granite gives the fastest mining Xp. I don't know if your Runecrafting is high enough, but you might want to think about getting an enchanted water tiara. You charge it with water runes and you don't have to carry around waterskins. I understand that they're a big help in the desert.

I'm sorry, what updates has f2p received recently? Why are members so against anything new being added to the free game? It's been stated that the free game is not meant to be a demo, so why can't we get updates and have access to new things?[/rant] That being said, I have to agree with funnyjoker; I don't think this is a good idea. There would be far too many of these and they would become nothing more than another item that you see everyone have. Heck, skillcapes are all over the place in f2p as it is.

Not always. My lower combat level means that I can mine Runite in f2p without being attacked by the Revenant Knights (and I have to admit it's both cool and a little scary to watch one just glide past while I stand there).

Yes. In the report window, it's under "Respect" and "disruptive behavior". This is directly from the RuneScape website: "Spamming/flooding the chat window is to fill the chat window with unnecessary text. This is an offence and is disruptive and unfair on other players, as it makes it more difficult for them to communicate and trade with each other." I report the autos for merch clans every time I see them.

Personally, I put day-to-day info in the new posts. If there is a level up, I also add it to the first post making the pic a link to that post in the blog. In order to keep it from taking forever to load, I make the pictures hidden so people can only open the ones they want to see. I also put a copy of my signature progress bar(s) in the first post so new readers can see where I am at a glance. Take a look at the first post of my blog (*cough* shameless plug *cough*) to see what I mean. The list of level up pics is getting kind of long, so once I reach 99 Mining I'm going to condense them down into a list of links under one drop down tab.
