I was wondering (I don't pk much - or at all really), does the teleblock skill ever splash? Or is it a 100% accurate spell?
-
At ~80 melees, cannoning blacks may not be that fast. You could level up your agility/dg and go kill the blues in the taverley dungeon. Since most of the profit would come from dbones anyways - it's highly more profitable to get kills Just bank with a tortoise or something (you don't really need much stats to fight them) and leave your cannon when you're banking. (I think banking at fally is a good idea or teleport wherever but bring a house tablet if your house is in taverly) For this just use void - that should be enough

Why do you end at catherby?

For starters, you should be doing some quests (just to get back into the hang of the game) A lot has changed since then and doing some quests should get you reacquainted to the landscape. You're right in that RC isn't very good money making anymore. Some money making ideas: -Farming (get juju potions - read up on herblore habitat, and farm herbs) for now, stick to ranarrs and save the juju's for later -Manage Thy Kingdom (MTK) - just stick 9 in maples + 6 in coal? That seems to be the general consensus at the moment although 10/5 probably won't hurt either -Dailies Some other things you should get started on: -Do Tears of Guthix and level up DG (dungeoneering) -Use your lamps on DG You want this at a moderately high level before you start (maybe 25-30 sounds like a good starting point) DG has some amazing rewards: for starters - scroll of life/cleansing arcane stream necklace chaotic weaponry unlocking some pretty beast prayers

Do you look down on untrimmed Cooking capes?
LitterBug replied to Nomrombom's topic in Questionnaires
I pretty much agree with this. I don't care (nor does it affect me) one way or the other, but I really only have "respect" ( ) for useful 99's, 99's that the person actually enjoyed getting, and 99's for the purpose of maxing total. Who says you can't have fun cooking? -

You're No1s Perfect? :ugeek: lol, it seems he changes accounts quite often. i remember him "just" finishing smoking kills like two/three weeks ago as wells being happy he got level 80 in some melee stat? I don't really remember exactly what the circumstances were lol. -
Runecrafting Guide - An Insiders Look at Runecrafting
LitterBug replied to Speedsktr's topic in Archive of Wisdom
Good luck, its really not all that bad =P Feel free to add me in game if you'd like - I dont generally have my private chat on, normally on friends, but I'll be happy to answer any more questions you may have. Love seeing people interested in runecrafting =) Do you have any approximations of exp/hour for ZMI? With or without the banking with a full bank. Thanks! -
I don't think that you can get 1m+ from cleaning herbs. However, making the unfinished potions is a great source of money Assuming you have the scroll of cleansing of course.

bird eye jack lets u bank without token. Trollheim tele tabs exist. You can do most skills on lunar easily, the lunar tele themselves have some useful spots. Then between house portals and item teleports you can get anywhere easy peasy. Unless you need to alch, superheat or need strong combat mage lunar is by far the most productive spellbook to stay on. Ancients only canafis tele is useful for getting around, which house portals cover. The entire normal spellbook is covered by house portals and/or teletabs. So basically on lunar's you have every single transport option open to you. That makes more sense, I guess I gotta bump up Dream Mentor/Love Story on my to do list

^This, however - maybe I don't play enough or something but I can't say I've been in this situation multiple times. I've died twice (that I can remember) and one person blessed my grave while the other "claims he was afking" I usually bless every grave I see (except for those botters you see) It's always funny to see a gravestone in draynor or something along those lines.

Do you look down on untrimmed Cooking capes?
LitterBug replied to Nomrombom's topic in Questionnaires
A lvl 99 is a lvl 99. Even if it's a fast skill - it still takes time. So, I don't think lesser of anybody who has an "easy" skill cape. However, I never understood that - in 95% of the time - these skill capes are useless (not as good as another cape) RS should change the skillcape/make it better or actually have it be beneficial. A +1 in a 99 skill doesn't really help so... One thing they can do is make skill capes only an appearance thing. You could use it to cover a different cape so you can have a fletching skillcape over a ardy cape or something. I doubt it'll happen though. -
Lunar is convenient for farming but not so much for other things. If you're trying to travel - lunar takes you to very specific places and the selection isn't that good. Also, it's not fun to have on slayer tasks - I usually go to a task without any runes (maybe fire/nat at most) and by the time I leave - 95% of the time, I'll have the runes for a teleport which is pretty convenient because most of them are close to a bank. If I'm doing hellhounds or something where you don't get any runes - you can just home teleport back. However, on lunars - home teleport brings you to the island but you still need that diplomacy token thingy-ma-bob. Also, it's not so bad anymore but before the ROW update - it was annoying as hell if you wanted to get to GE. IMO, go lunars for farming if a.) You have 96+ teleport for the teleport to trollheim b.) You can grind for a long time with something that requires lunars (or doesn't require normal magic rather)

no, what I ment was take a row, and then use a gembag to store the gems (so all gems only take 1 inv spot.. - this would be good if the total value of gems would be 10kish) The gembag is only worth it if you can get 20k worth of gems PER trip. It's replacing a spot PER trip so the wealth brought in must be at least the value of a frost dragon bone - which seems highly unlikely. If it ever so happens that a dragonstone drops - then you might as well bank with one less frost dragon bone and pick that up. Tl;dr - Don't bring a gem back. Pick up dragonstone if it drops but no other gem.

What does this mean? Please litterbug explain. I pointed it out multiple times, and you just completely avoided it. THIS is exactly what I'm referencing. What I meant to say was: And he's judging my knowledge based on how I used you're when I meant to say he's. So I turn around to judge him based on his grammatical prowess and I'm the one being fllamed? That's ironic to say the least.
-
^I'm doing the same thing he's doing. And then you're saying he can do the same thing I did? What? I really can't tell if I'm being trolled or not anymore.

Clearly, you guys hold some anger towards those who aren't as efficient as possible as you're all on this thread bashing them. Wait what? You have been bashing those who are efficient on this thread, then turn around and say that you try to be as efficient as possible... I'm not bashing efficient players. I'm bashing efficient players that have to comment on how others who aren't efficient must be total idiots.

It's not common knowledge that defender>DFS? :-? no, it is but its also common knowledge that the majority of humanity is [developmentally delayed]ed/lacks any common sense/knowledge/etc therefore it is fair to assume the majority of the rs population is as well we also know that the majority of the rs population is 11-14 year olds who have a higher percentage of [developmentally delayed]ation/lacking common sense/etc compared to humanity as a whole and thus we can conclude that even though it should be common knowledge dfs< defender this is not true if that makes any sense Somebody sure is on their high horse. When most people play video games/go out to have fun - they go for the most efficient right? They always think of saving the most time? Some people do. We don't all have fun in the same way. Before you try to twist that, understand that putting on a defender instead of a dfs is in no way requiring more effort or attention. [/hide] Agreed, but if you're going to raise hell over 2 minutes wasted on a task - then you shouldn't ever waste any time on runescape. Apparently this guy doesn't - he has an 100% efficiency rate. No trolling in random cc's or even chatting with anybody in game because that would obviously violate his efficiency rating. If you're going to get 99 slayer though, or even anything else remotely high, those 2 minutes add up to a dozen or so hours, which most would rather be spending on other skills/mhing. You're missing my point... I'm not saying 2 minutes here and there which adds up to ~20 hours is insignificant. All I'm saying is if you're going to flip out and go nuts over something so trivial (such as the way other people play the game) then he has an extremely efficient rating and he's never afk'ed or half-heartly played runescape. However, he "claims" that he's always 100% efficient and never idles when playing runescape. Like that's believable. >implying i'm flipping out also your second paragraph makes no sense you aren't too smart i see Now, we're resorting to personal attacks. That's fine - I guess. But honestly? I doubt you are very "bright". (Rather, I can tell you're not very bright) Just because I don't want to be the absolute very best and fastest to lvl 99 in a game doesn't have any bearings on my intellect. I can infer that you aren't smart based on the implications you make and the way you phrase your writing. Re read that second paragraph Also my IQ is 152 I haven't made any implications. Honestly - with an IQ of 152, you couldn't figure out that instead of you, I meant he? Do you really want me to start pointing out how your lack of punctuations, and misspelled words can imply that you've never received any respectable grade in any english class? Let's be serious. I'm sure you got an IQ of 152 on one of these phony IQ tests - but why not state something that we can analyze? How old are you/what school do you attend?

Lol, is Tip.it really full of that many obnoxious players or at least people who fail completely at reading comprehension. If you read my posts - I wasn't advocating that everybody ditches their ddef and go run for ddef. I slay with a ddef, and I try to be efficient as possible. What I'm saying is - why do you have a problem with what other players wear to slay? It's not affecting you in any way, so why are all you efficiency freaks getting so butthurt over it? It's a game so play it how you want - there's no reason that other can't play how they want.

It's clear that many Tip.it-ers have a different view on how to play runescape. Some of you guys love to be efficient and do everything 100% - and that's how you define fun. I'm 100% perfectly fine with that, but there's no reason to reject other people's idea of fun. Even if it's not the brightest thing to do - like wearing a DFS/party hat/no weapon to a slayer task. If you can't see past that, and you continue to reject how other players enjoy the game - then why is there a problem with us (people who don't want to be the most efficient or pay 100% on a game) when we reject your ways of playing this game?

People play games to have fun, not to work hard at something that should be enjoyed. Can you say that you've always payed 100% attention in whatever you've done? That you've never wasted a few game ticks because you weren't totally focused and weren't just afk-ing the game? Let's get real now - if that's ever happened then you're just as bad as these [developmentally delayed] players that you seem to hate.
-
I wasn't advocating the use of a dfs - I was merely explaining why one may use it. If the difference is a few minutes, are you guys really going to complain all day and make sarcastic jokes about it? I'm not saying go nuts and wear the most useless junk you can find that is expensive - but if there's no significant difference in the amount spent on the slayer task why not? However, if you really feel inclined to show off a party hat or something - why not? It's a game - and should be treated as such. Why are you guys treating it like an slave shop, where if you're not the most efficient - you'll be subject to torture?
-
Would you rather have glory or fury? I rather have glory...(jk) It's just a game - if you have something nice, it's not abnormal to show it off... I mean how much faster can a dfs really slow down a task? If it's just a couple of minutes - then it shouldn't be a big deal. Yeah yeah, over time it adds up but it's not like everybody's always focusing 100% anyways. I mean if it's like a 15-20 minute increase in time then I wouldn't even think about touching a dfs but if it's the difference between 45 minutes and 47 minutes - why not?
