if the gardener cuts your trees - do you get the exp for it? I think I'm going to go on lunar for the herb runs and just bring tele tabs for everything else Is it actually true that spirit tree's aren't useful? I always thought it was a pain having to go to al kharid to the gnome glider or to yanille and running north west. What's the closest place to a spirit tree?

Hey, for most of RS - I have been farming only herb/bush patches However, I decided that it's too slow and why not train farming a little faster? I want to incorporate tree/fruit runs into my daily farming so I'm asking for a bit of advice. What is a decent path to take? I have access to lunar magick and I will be using tele tablets if it's more efficient Otherwise - I can stick to normal. ^I can obviously buy any teleport item (jewlery, etc) Thanks for the help guys Additionally - is there anything else I should be doing? My plan so far is just to supercompost the trees and wield a magic secateur and have a hatchet in my inventory. I will be farming yew + papaya trees for now (if it turns out that I can't afford the yews - I would switch to maple but I don't think this will be the case) As an additional consideration - I will be planting spirit trees as soon as I can. Does anybody have any advice on where to plant them? I want to set up a very efficient traveling system - I will be more then willing to move my POH to wherever is needed and I will be setting up rooms for teleports/glories.

What's the fastest way to kill Black Demons? And a RoW question.
LitterBug replied to chrisman638's topic in Help and Advice
Is there an optimal setup for the cannon? I usually set it up in the north west part of the dungeon - but sometimes when I first get to the dungeon, I see people who somehow position the cannon so that it's hitting more then one black demon. Not sure if it's a glitch or not, has anybody seen this before? -

Hey, the chaos tunnel option is definitely a good one - but another choice is to cannon them in taverley especially since you don't have access to a steel titan Bring a bunyip to recover some health and you should be okay. Urns are also helpful - not having to pick up a million ashes does cut down on time as well as provide decent exp. Lot's of people have been arguing about ROW over zerker but it seems that most people keep the zerker. A lot of the ROW "only" drops are not actually ROW specific - i.e tons of torstols/coal/etc However, if you're looking to make extra money while on slayer - it's not a bad idea. It might be helpful to go buy a gem bag with some DG tokens - it's not rare to see the ring activate 10 times and 7/10 of those times - you'll get extra gold/gems. -
This might seem like a noob question but whats the best method for making steam runes? I havent trained rc in a very long time. i need the same answer Get an fire tiara? (I think you need it - not 100% sure) Be on lunar magicks (for magic imbue) Bring tons of water runes & pure essences Tons of binding necklaces Tons of dueling rings Magic Imbue is so you don't need a bazillion talismans to craft the combination rune The binding necklaces make sure you have 100% success of crafting the steam rune The main idea is cast magic imbue, make steam runes, bank (at castlewars?) then use the dueling ring to tele to duel arena and run to the fire altar
-
Just curious, exactly what activities give you range?
-
So I take it that - imbuing isn't like a "skill" you can learn (like crafting fsh, making broad bolts, etc) You have to imbue each ring individually?
-
Is there any reason to get this? Or should I go for getting a imbued Beserker ring? This isn't a task I hope to accomplish in the immediate future - but more of a long term task. At least I can start getting some of the rank/credits now and I won't be as bored later on.

This Rune Wiki Page should have what you want, and since it's just numbers the wiki should be pretty accurate. Wow that's really surprising. I didn't expect so many people with 99 farming - is it really that easy? Also surprised at mining - didn't think it would be that low.

Making the most efficient pouches and buying the ones you need later is smarter. not always for example - OP has 56 summoning golds for sure are not very efficient but are good for his level I wouldn't do it based on efficiency but rather a combination of cost and availability. If I were you - I would save the blues til later (unless you're dying to get rid of them) I'll tell you how I did it - I'm not sure if it was efficient or not Basically I calculated what I needed to get to lvl 68 summoning (Bunyip) and just farmed til I got the appropriate amount of charms for them. ^Of course I did it during BXP weekend so it was a lot easier for me then it would be normally. At: 56 - I did Ilbis 61 - Smoke Devils 64 - Stranger Plants 66 - Barket Toads

I forget to add, I think it's something wrong with the coding but sometimes they have the high alch price wrong. For example in the first link, ppots (4) do not alch for 4k - so beware of some of these random mistakes. However, for the most part - they're easy to spot.
-
High alching is super cheap now a days due to the crashing nature rune prices, so I'd stock up when they're 130-135. Anyhow, if you want some free fletching exp - buy yew longs (u) + bowstrings, make the longbows and then high alch them. This makes a loss of about 75 gp per 65 exp - holding out on the market and buying below GE prices would probably net you about 1gp per exp which is pretty cheap in my opinion. However, other things you can do: High alch gold bracelet (the difference in ge price & high alch price is always about 100 or so - so you'll take a hit of about 35 gp per 65 exp. That was just something you can buy in bulk and high alch. However, here are some websites that you can see what you will gain/lose per alch. Most of the time though, the items that are "good" to alch don't sell well in the GE. http://www.scape-xp.com/runescape-high-alchemy.html http://www.alchprices.com/

Sweet, seems like they're making lunar spells even more useful >.< Anyhow - yay for other ways of leveling farming!

I just copied everything in excel. The best formula I could get out of it was: y = 0,0011x^6 - 0,3331x^5 + 37,596x^4 - 2009,7x^3 + 50770x^2 - 520060x + 110^6 R² = 0,99961 So you can use that as nearly accurate to calculate :P It isn't 100% accurate though (you would then get R²=1) However I did get an accurate formula for the experience difference: y = 83,463 e^0,0989x R² = 1 When x=0 it tells the difference between level 0 and 1, x=1 tells the difference between level 1 and 2 and so on. It may not be 100% accurate at the lower levels because of the rounding system that jagex uses. Edit: @Suomi Don't let the opinion of others change who you are or what you do, it is your life not theirs. Not necessarily - as you keep using increasingly larger orders of polynomials - your R value would increase (even if there's not necessarily a connection between the y value and x^5) ^And Suomi, I agree with essiw - you should be doing your own thing. Especially since 200M is such a long and arduous task - you should make sure that you're enjoying this! Anyhow, sweet job so far and keep it up!

All it means is that when higher leveled slayers get the Jad task from Kuradel - they'd be more apt to do it. Think about it - 1 mil + some tokkul for ~45k slayer experience? I'm sure a lot of the higher levels can do it pretty fast - so it'd be a lot more worth it to do. However, I would think it would at least go for ~3ish mil? 1 mil is way too cheap and I'm sure there are people would pay 2-3 mil for a fire cape without going through the hassle of doing Jad. Especially those lower levels who can't beat Jad (or those who would rather not waste an hour or so just to end up losing in the end)

What is this? Read it yourself. Magad, this is so awful I will not even bother to explain why this is so terribad of a statement. Clues would should be, in my opinion, ~10% cheaper than their average loot is worth. Unfortunately, you can't even bank one. :P I think Range_this is saying that while most people on the average will get [cabbage] rewards. However, over time - this would balance out and the average of your rewards will be closer to the average of all TT clues (of the same level of course) I partially agree with you - but I think TT hunting is more about the doing of the treasure trial then the actual getting of it. (I can't explain it very well but imagine it as summoning, obtaining the charm would be paramount to finishing the TT clue and making the pouches would be finding the clue) Because of this, I would imagine that the cost of the clue would be ~50% (probably lower tbh) of the average reward price (if anybody bothered to calculate that :P)

It's not a huge deal but if I were making a zerk (or some special character), I would make it perfect. However, it looks like you already spent a good deal of time on it already - and I probably wouldn't want to restart if I were you. Any chance you would make it into a normal main (maxed stats are the best for fighting anyhow)? But anyhow, you are right - 95 prayer is especially expensive and many players who have played for years still haven't gotten. If you really don't have the money (or plan on getting the money slowly) then just keep with the beserker.
-
Effigies are nice because they'll give 90k exp + the dragonkin lamp (which is + a potential 48k or so) Assuming you have lvl 97 in all skills - each effigy would give a potential 135k exp (in a matter of mere seconds) - you're basically paying 30ish gp per exp Plus - it would a great way to train agility, construction, farming, herblore, smithing, and rc. TBH, the only combo that is bad is fletching/wc Also, I was wondering - do dragonkin lamps stack in your bank? I'm curious and I can't test it out at the moment.

Double post - meant to edit.

looks like he's maging some type of metal dragon - iron/steel maybe?
-
Powerslaying - nope Runecrafting - effigies - nope Hunting - draconic jadinkos - nope Merching is a risk of cash and he doesn't like to risk. As mentioned before, he is a perfectionist :P Oh damn! So there's no skills left were he makes money?? Flipping isn't really a risk, he's gotta do something like that. Unless he has like a few p hats he can spare? Does he even have a p hat?! Just read the post about needing 15b more. No offense but if you want 200m all skills you need a money maker, maybe he could nex or something? If he doesn't like merching then all he can do is stake/boss hunt. And stakings a risk aswell. So either boss hunt/merch or give up? He can't rely on donations :P I'm fairly certain that he'll do fine. He certainly got to this point without staking/flipping. You'd be surprised how generous "some" people on RS can be.

lol, where did you read that? If you think about it - the assumption that everything is calculated on your final day makes a lot more sense. This is the whole reason you can switch workers right before you collect your resources. It would be very easy to run a test to compare - if anybody would like to just leave a name here. I will put 10 workers into maple + 5 workers into coal The other guy would put 9/6 After a week (that should be more then enough to see if there's a difference) then we will both collect our resources and see if there's a difference in the numbers of nests collected. We will both be getting our approval rating up to 100% everyday (so for those who farm bushes - it'll be a lot easier for you guys)

It's only a big deal when farming with jujus. I like to plant watermelons, limpwurts, whiteberries, and herbs. It's a decent way to get some exp especially since farming is generally pretty slow.
