How would it approximate how many green/red/blue you have? If you're only training on one monster - you can figure out the ratio (by running a few tests or just looking up the data on rs.wiki) of charms dropped. You can then approximate it from there - but there's no other way to do it.

How in the world would you even get to 99 summoning? Lootshare charms? Even so, that would take at least double the time of just getting summoning to 99 normally...

These clans are stupid because somebody has to lose out. Merchanting clans "try to work" by effectively cornering the market on a good (i.e buying it all out at ridiculous rates) Now, if you want this to work - you're going to keep buying out the item but along the way - you're buying the item at more and more ridiculous prices. When your clan decides to sell everything - the people who bought late/selling late are going to get shafted in price. It's more like the people who decide what to corner gets rich - the others will lose money.

Lol, I really liked how somebody said move out and get your own place. Just to play runescape? Seriously?

Use elite void + deflector & SS (I think SS is slightly better then ZS although the difference should be pretty negligible) Do familiarization if you can before you head to Waterfiends Bring a Bunyip + prayer potions -> Use piety the whole time. Don't forget super potions! I believe you should be fine with some scrolls (to eat the sharks if you're low on hp) You could pray range as well.

Reinstall java? Run it on internet explorer? It sounds like people do tend to have a lot of trouble with the game screen turning to all black/white with either mozilla or chrome

It is the only decent way to train farming off the hour (I think that minesweeper game also gives exp but barely any) It's a nice way to level farming if you're trying to get it up to 80 or something. At above, farming trees is really expensive - especially if you're consistently doing magic/palm trees. Farming herbs aren't that great of a money maker unless you really do get juju's and a scroll of life. (I mean it's not bad - 100-150k per ~5 minute run) However, the exp rates are pretty bad for this.

I always thought this would happen too, but ever since the GE was introduced prices have always crashed at the beginning of summer. It seemed logical that once everyone got out of school there would be more people playing, and demand would go up and prices would rise. It just never works out that way. Thats a double edged sword demand goes up because more people are playing but also supply goes up because of those more people playing. If you're waiting a few days/weeks it may work. However, if you're stockpiling for months in advance - to anticipate a larger user base, there are a lot of things that can go wrong. Like nasty said, the supply goes up Also, new things may be introduced into the game Etc, etc. Additionally - I highly doubt there is a huge influx of players just for the summer? I don't know of anybody who refused to play games during the school year. In fact, there's a slight possibility that there are less players in the summer (due to vacation, camp, etc)

Mid probably to get it sold asap. However, if you wait a while - you might be able to sell it for a little more profit. I generally view this time as not worth it (if you're trying to use your money to merch more).

You do 10/5 for the better maple ratio which in turn increases your # of nests. Since maple does give a slight profit (I believe it's actually pretty significant now) and the nests are supposedly the majority of your income - well, it makes sense that you get more maple. The thing is if you collect daily on a 9/6, then you're getting the same amount of bird nests. However if you go 10/5 and collect weekly - you'll end up with more bird nests

http://forum.tip.it/topic/291830-money-makeing/ There should be a sticky for questions about 1.) Money making 2.) Herblore 3.) MTK worker placement

I can only assume that a.) they used to be a good/decent source of money until tons of bots came to crash the market b.) these bots are easier to code c.) these bots require nothing much It's easy to get the requirements to mine coal/cut yews It's much harder to get the requirements to boss hunt?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnFi8L5z8BE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPaVfmC_JJU I would definitely try one of those if I had members. I wonder if it can be applied to other bots which are in a combat training or gathering situation in which they need to eat. Sounds like a good idea unless you're one of the people who read this forum. Then you can pretend to be a botter, and just pick up their dragon battle axes/etc and teleport away!

this 9 maples gives the same amount of nests as 10 maples if you collect every day like i do I don't understand this logic much. If you're going to collect everyday - you're clearly in Miscellania. If you're there - why not use the time to get your popularity up to 100% instead? Then at the end of the week, you'll be getting more of a profit from 1.) 10 maples/5 coal VS. 2.) 9 maples /6 coals If you're going to put in time there - might as well wait a couple more days and just reap the benefits :/
-
10 maples / 5 coal if you wait a long time to collect your goods. I haven't actually done the math - but I think if you just let your popularity fall and collect once a week, you should get more nests from the woods. However, if you keep your popularity up - it seems that you'll be getting more of a benefit from 10 maples/5 coals vs. 9 maples/6 coals I've been trying to find somebody to compare my data to though. However, rather then letting the popularity fall every day - I go once a day and rake the patches (literally takes about 10 seconds) on my bush runs. Anybody interested to see how these numbers match up?

I don't that he has a problem with the setup but here it is:

It seems like most expensive items have been dropping. (i.e Bandos/Fury/GS/etc) I can't really justify it more then, as more furies are coming into the game so those who have been wanting one had a chance to obtain it. Now, theres a decent supply and they're not exiting the game, and the demand has lowered so...

I think for now - your stats play a large part. Remember that these guys with maxed stats have access to a lot of familiar/chaos tunnel/kuradel's dungeon-ferocious rings For starters- Extremes - try doing a task with and without supers, you'll already notice the difference Piety/Turmoil - piety speeds up the task a lot and you'll notice that you barely get hit - now turmoil is better then that Kuradel's dungeon with a ferocious ring = makes everything more damage-y which is amazing to say the least I'm sure that most of the people who focus on slayer - do have spec weapons/etc to make their life faster. I know for now, my slayer exp is anywhere from 20-25k exp an hour (on melee) but most of these power slayers consider 45k exp an hour to be half decent - which I can only assume they're slaying at a MUCH more efficient and effective rate.

Use a war tortoise for the space. However, I think T.D's may be a better use of your time. If you go boss hunting with a team - Corp might be a good idea. Flipping is pretty good as well. The better your items = the more of a profit you can make. It's annoying when people start trying to flip your item but you can always try to milk it as much as you can while looking for other random things to flip
-
If you're only ~5 mil away - and your bank is 150 M - it's an easy decision, no? Either way, if you have 100+ M - you're in a great place to flip/merch. You can easily make over 5-10 M a day just checking in on the GE once in a while. There's no point in being frugal with 5 M, if you can easily make it back within a day and get loads more exp. If I were you, I'd definately spend the lamps on prayer. Your magic is 85 (which isn't really low but it's not as high as it could be). I would do the D&D and then burst rock lobs for charms. This way you get magic levels, summoning levels and you can dump all your lamps into prayer.

You're right in that RC is slow exp and it sucks as a money maker but for those who are trying to max out their skills - it's considered a big waste of time. Most notably, RC does become helpful in a few niche situations - mainly completing achievement diaries as well as dungeoneering (you really only need like 70ish RC). Off the top of my head, I remember the Karamaja/Varrock tasks requiring a pretty high RC level (90+ iirc). It seems like you're maxing out more of your important skills and concentrating on those. If that's how you want to play - you probably don't want to waste it on RC. However, if you're going to go for 99 everything - not having to RC the entire way is definitely helpful especially since it is the slowest skill :/

True, but it's not going to fall so much as to make up for the price of arrows. That will never happen. zaryte bow doesn't use arrows, just to clarify. As in the price of buying a zaryte bow will never offset the price of buying arrows for other bows.
-
True, but it's not going to fall so much as to make up for the price of arrows. That will never happen. Hmm, Is there any way you can alch and range or something like that? Is there any two skills that you can combine with ranging? (similar to the low alching when barb fishing)
-
it's totally doable now - just a little more annoying to train. it also unlocks farming juju's which are always a great way to make money

I think when they said attack potion - they were going for cheap exp/gp ratios. At your level, a difference of like 25-50k exp an hour doesn't really matter much because you're going to be leveling at an extremely fast rate regardless.
