  1. For flipping - you don't necessarily have to be at the GE the whole time. Sometimes, try for goods that don't flip instantly (or do something like high alch or fletch to gain exp during the off time) You could always put in a buy order, wait a couple of hours. Take the item - put it on sell and buy more. That's what I do when I go train my other skills and it works like a charm.
  2. Please stop trolling in H&A. You just post non-sense and quite frankly, I'm tired of it. You never have anything helpful to say so just leave I realize that, I'm on W76. However, I can't play siege without playing conflict at least once but me and this guy have been waiting in there for like half an hour and we've only seen one other guy :(
  3. You're fine. One thing you should do is not waste your spec. Just spec the queen right before her special attack and just normally attack her otherwise. Don't try to take out her hp but rather keep killing the defilers as they spawn. You'll know when it's time to kill her (i.e you have a bajillion archers and they're doing 60 damage per hit)
  4. I've been preparing for slayer for the last couple of weeks and I decided to start mobilising armies while I merched to get my herblore up. My question is, where the hell is everybody? I've been through all the worlds and I can't even find 4 people to play conflict ...
  5. Do you already have all the miscellaneous small items? I.e scroll of cleansing/life
  6. What? her magic and range are both 100% accurate
  7. Did you move ana from the barrel to the cart? She's in one of the barrels on the surface.
  8. Yes, it's not that hard. For me, I took a war tort full of sharks + sharks on me. I took a four spec restores and four pray pots. I wore full void + barrow gloves. The trick is to keep spec-ing her when she rises up to do that 500+ damage attack to everybody. Also, kill the defiler as soon as they spawn - they take out your archers pretty fast. The main thing is just to let your archers come, the knights die pretty easily so don't worry aobut that. Once you have like 8? (ish) archers, and they're doing like 60 damage to her each just keep using your spec on her. Don't waste your specs in the beginning cause she'll get healed - save it til when she's either a.) using her special attack b.) almost dead and you have a good amount of archers
  9. CT is a multi attack zone. Just attack their dragons a little more then 1/2 life so it's you who gets the drop and move on. Basically you're doing a little more then half the work for the same result.
  10. Green dragons are your best bet for a consistent money maker. (with those stats at least) It's a good 1.5-2 M per hour banking the bones with a tortoise
  11. Why is everybody hating on him so much? It's him offering up a blue party hat for nothing in return...
  12. Those 2 weapons do not train Defence in the Crush attack style. The only other option is V Flail or T Hammers. Yes I am aware of that, but it serves no purpose using those. Training defense another place then killing waterfiends for charms using controlled/aggressive is faster. I'm just using my logic sense, even though I'm going into Tripsis' grey zone, doesn't mean I'm trolling/flaming whatever they call it. How? The only way training defense at another place and then killing waterfiends using a crush weapon on aggressive/controlled if you're training nearly twice as slow as with a verac's flail which is 100% not the case. The OP is trying to knock out two birds with one stone and so what if he sacrifices a little bit of exp. The OP has a fair cash pile but he's probably not trying to waste millions on just getting the charms for summoning - so cannoning black demons is not an optimal idea.
  13. Her hits are 100% accuracy unless prayed against. For me, it took me a while but I found that if you go with a handful of people (2, even 3 is good) Grab a range weapon - and verac's to tank the other monsters in the room. Focus mainly on pray switching and range her to death That or bring some rocktails if you're melee-ing and just in case. ^The amount of people you need to bring really depends on your ability to switch prayers honestly.
  14. This is also a bad idea. What are you going to do - play for 1 minute then afk for 2? Sounds pretty pointless to me. A good strategy is just to baby-sit the knight - most of the bots are pretty intelligent. The main reason that people lose games (when I see it at least) is that theres a brawler in front of the gates and you can't walk past them so most of the bots just stop. However, there are some smart bots (or real players) who attack the brawler so the bots get freed up. There are two good strategies: 1.) Baby sit the knight - leave the brawler Kill defilers (I think the void knights are either weak to range or the defilers attack extremely fast with decent accuracy 2.) Go around and clear brawlers so the players don't get stuck.
  15. They actually do. I won a game and got 20 points, while my friend got 16. Another game he won and I got 9 and he got 12. You both get points, but the winner gets a little "bouns". That's 100% false. That's based on the difference in your combat levels - and there's no way what you said is true. The points are based on turns + combat level (to take into account the difference of using novice boat + advanced boats)
  16. I don't remember exactly what the exp rates are but I remember that I did cracked the safe in the Rogue's Den. It was pretty easy exp - just position your screen so that you can continuously click the safe (it's just a left click so it's pretty afkable) Just spam click that while watching a movie or something - however, note that you won't ever get a level where you don't fail this. IIRC, this gave upwards of 40+ K an hour. It's not that good but if you only want 200k exp - this may be the way to go. Use a stethoscope - i think it supposedly helps you fail less (or gives you more gems from the safe?)
  17. I doubt that using a whip + void set + barrows glove on defense is worse then any of the methods suggested here (with the exception of getting a chaotic maul) However, getting a maul just to do wfs is probably not a good idea - it's not that good to be such a niche weapon. However, if you TD a lot or you want to next - it's definitely a great idea.
  18. What is a GSS? Buy your armor first - if you have all the things you need (i.e bandos/fury/berserker/etc) then you may want to level up herblore. Try to get extremes/piety before you start spending on items like dclaw. For the most part, a whip + a ddef is good enough for your tasks - maybe a brackish blade/korasi/zspear for the stab tasks and a saradomin sword for the crush tasks A spectral shield is a waste - just pray mage and piety to speed through a task or just a bunyip/unicorn and just heal normally - you should be fine. If you want to level up mining/smithing - get your mining up a little (power mine granite/iron) then switch over to superheating/mining concentrated gold rocks in the LRC. (remember to bring a gauntlet for the increased smithing exp.)
  19. I think he knows it's "THEORETICALLY" possible to kill a bajilliontrillionmillion TD's and not see a claw. Why would you even post that?
  20. You can find this one RS - just look for the most populated world that has PC next to it. There's two that I usually join. I've tried both PC as well as Conquest and I have to say - Conquest is a lot more interesting and you can get more points (commendations) out of it. This is based on points though - and if you realize you're not too good at this game, make sure you stop playing this - play the veteran boat for points. However, I only played the veteran boat normally (i.e without a clan or whatever) Something to note is that, if you're going to play - a lot of the players are botters. One (good) way around this is to stay by the void knight. Kill everything that isn't a brawler (the brawler blocks more monsters attacking the void knight) and you'll have a much higher chance of winning. If you're going to play with a friend or two - doing this makes your win rate a LOT higher.
  21. This. Remember that you still need the talisman to get into the altar though.
  22. This (although it's a little extreme) I don't believe thieving from Ardounge Knight is very effective. You can easily get 2, 3 times that with other methods. It's a nice idea - it might help if you have a group of friends who want to train thieving (pickpocket-ing) at a super low level but other then that, I don't see any real use for it.
  23. Not really, no. Chinning Mummies (CTs) and Monkey Skeletons (Ape Atol) can offer over 250k xp/hr and Nechryael (CTs) are around 190k xp/hr I think but profitable and good for collecting charms. This, cannons give a "nerfed" exp count as opposed to chins and other range tatics. However, it's a great way to earn some "lesser" exp and it does greatly enhance your slayer exp as well.
  24. Back on my questing mode: ^Ashamed of my play time (I used to mech in F2P) Finished 5 seperate RFD quests (had to do some pre-reqs as well) + Killed the Culinaromancer Finished Desert Treasure (wow, that quest was long) Finishing some of the Void Knight quests - taking a break before starting the last one. Played Conquest for most of Friday - Got the deflector + Ranger Void Helm. Sooo much faster then the vet boat Pretty productive weekend :P Just a little while longer - still merching/flipping trying to raise enough to get extremes + EEE before I start slaying seriously. Also, a few K tokens away from a CR - spent some on a bonecrusher and a lot of ranks on the ring.
  25. http://grimy.freeforums.org/temporary-spreadsheet-thread-t3.html Step 1: Determine how many exp you need in either skill Step 2: Look at the prayer/herb spreadsheet Step 3: Choose a way that you would like to use Step 4: Multiply the total exp by the gold per exp
