  1. lol, you're reading the guide wrong. The riddle comes first and then the answer. The way you read it - you read the answer and then the riddle.
  2. A little nitpicky, but the last 4 or 5 polls have been about quest bosses and most of the choices were members-only while the polls were open to both f2p and p2p. I totally agree though - f2p shouldn't have a voice when a poll is about members-only content. Hell, no one other than holders of accounts of 5-year-old accounts (MAYBE f2p 5YO accounts with members stats) should have been allowed to vote in this particular poll. If that were the case, maybe some of the people who were glitched on day one (5 years, members, but unable to buy cape) would have been sorted out when they tried to vote and were rejected. If the poll was only limited to people who the change would target - you would almost undeniably get a vote for change/upgrade all the time. It's not like Jagex ever votes to punish you - all their "changes" are for the better so there's no point in putting a poll out that only targets a specific audience.
  3. If you're going to frost - then you won't be needing them very much since they're both 2h weapons. I'm not exactly sure what the deal with the ZS is because every so often the price changes pretty drastically. The SS has rose in price and has been sitting at around 6 mil for a pretty long time so I think it should be fine if you desired to keep it.
  4. Then that would make Obby cape worthless and the price would plummet. I think however that the 10 level capes should have some stats You could start it with pretty bad stats and have it gain stats every for every 20 or so levels (10,30,50,70,90)
  5. Throw in an offer at like 5k a piece and you'll get it soon enough
  6. They all work the same.... repeat and repeat. Ask for human interference and they wont work. (well ok some will work because they are monitored by humans but it eliminates 96%) What kind of human interference are you looking at? Jagex orginally implanted these random events to stop some botters but they've found ways around that. Anything short of a program that changes all the time is going to be ineffective. If you're going to code something every week or so - I might see this working but that's a.) a lot of work for the programmers b.) going to reduce income for Jagex
  7. I was trying to note that at lower levels - you may not get the runes (I don't know if this occurs often or not) This happened to me at least once (and I was around ~48-50 iirc) so I just sacrificed three slots just to make sure I didn't get stuck I guess if it's not something that happens often - you can always bring a glory or a item that teles you close to a bank
  8. Indeed - supposedly only one person i.e "Castle Wars" has the trimmed completionist cape as of right now OT, it seems like you have to play to get the max level/rank in every minigame. I wouldn't be surprised if you had some requirements for: -Fist of Guthix -Great Orb Project -Herblore Habitat And so on. However, it seems that through regular playing (not just straight grinding to 99), you may/would have unlocked a few of these requirements anyways (like those scrollls from DG by level 120). This cape is pretty cool, but I think it should be something completely different to set it apart from the original Completionist cape.
  9. Actually you can do it at 75 with the Oog'log mud bath which gives 7-9 boost depending on your level. Yeah but the time it takes after that to run to Herblore Habitat makes your skill boost almost negligible (might as well have used the hunting potion) If you used the spirit bag - you would lose that skill boost in a few minutes and tbh it just won't be worth it. I would definitely just level up hunter for a while - then start on commons. You're going to need the herb/vines/what not to attract the god damned jadinkos anyways. There's no telling when you will be getting the necessary seeds so you might as well get a head start up on the game
  10. So that makes him automatically right? Lulwut? 45k exp is near the max for ZMI crafting. Assuming you have 4 slots for the runecrafting pouches + 4 slots for runes - that leaves you with ~50 rune essence per inventory. Taking a loss of 12 (~25%) essences per inventory and you think you can still get 45k exp per hour? I don't care if he's rank 1 in RC, has 200M in RC, and reads the 200m thread every minute for updates - he's wrong. Do you not know how to read? It's fairly obvious that you don't fully read one's entire post and think for yourself :( I was mistaken in the max exp per hour (I remembered hearing it somewhere - whoops) but I was saying that 45k is impossible for him. I did account for the fact that the OP cannot use the last RC pouch (see that part where I mentioned the loss of 12 essence per inventory? 12 essence in a large bag wut?) You're right, you do use one slot for the runes you carry to bank but at low level - you need to carry the runes necessary to teleport to Ourania altar (or did you not remember that) I'm guessing you don't teleport to the altar - you just fly there? It's great that you only think about your skills at high levels because the training effects will be the same. Speaking as somebody who has both runecrafted using the ZMI altar AND the steam runecrafting method - It is definitely better to craft steam runes then do the ZMI altar.
  11. Either way, if you're high leveled in this game - I assume you have at least "some" familiarity with this game. It's really not that hard having to click around looking for the activate scroll button (seriously - there's only one summoning interface) On top of that, you have to do it when you complete the quest... :/
  12. Martingales don't always end up losing. The real "fault" of the program lies in the fact that nobody has infinite money. If you did though, you would always be up If you had max coins (well, anything over 1.97 bil actually), you can afford to lose 10 times in a row before becoming bankrupt. If boxing as indeed a "50/50" game (which it is clearly not - you have to factor in style switching/your opponent's ability to style switch/etc) - the chances of losing 10 times in a row is 0.976E-4. That's not impossible but it is improbable.
  13. You know you can just equip all your items and then click the middle icon that tells you your stats?
  14. Lol, did you have somebody play for you on your account or something? To catch salamanders - you need a small net and a rope (one for each trap you want to set) Head here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=wilderness_region_map.htm There's an option on the tree's near here (I don't remember exactly but it goes something like "set trap" or something like that) Remember that it is the wildy!
  15. You don't know how to use scrolls at level 91 summoning? o_O
  16. Um, you can go catch black salamanders However, I think the yields with common jadinkos may be better if you bring an artic bear for the invisible hunter level bonus Plus - you need to get the seeds to plant stuff anyways (so you can create habitats for higher leveled jadinkos.
  17. you are crazy... This. You kill the men and bank the herbs - although I don't know the exact rates for fishing rocktails. Your best bet is just to go get mort myre fungi
  18. I suppose I'm mostly referring to newer players, then. If I hadn't been helped out when I first started, I most likely would have quit within a week. Granted... that was in December 2001, so as you can imagine the game is worlds beyond what it used to be. But I just can't tell who's new and who's not. As said earlier, I see low levels running around in Lumbridge in mithril, while at the same time I see 40s-60s wearing bronze & iron/steel. I guess I could just bank the money and leave it sitting, but what's the point? I quite playing October 2005, came back for 2 months in November 2007 as a joke to merchant a rare (just to test my abilities), and haven't touched the game since. I legitimately have zero interest in the game so I don't care to even keep the money. I looked on the Events section, but I can't be bothered with making some kind of grand party. And from what I've noticed, a simple 'Falador Party Room' drop party with 5m gp worth of items would be lackluster to say the least. I guess it's just not an easy fix for what I'm aiming to do. Maybe I should pick a number in my head 1-250 and let people on the forums post their guess. Update the topic with a list of numbers, along with who reserved the number, and after X amount of days reveal the person who was closest. :-? You sound like a nice guy but if you started a forum game like that - I wouldn't doubt there would be somebody who just spam creates accounts to post on your thread. If you have absolute no interest in the game - you can donate the coins to Tip.It (I don't know if this is possible - but they do auctions for playing time with some of their staff so I assume they need some money in the game to fund events). However, if you sometimes come back to runescape to check - you might want to keep it incase you ever come back. That way, you won't be starting completely over again.
  19. Has Jagex/the Pmods released any more information on the Trimmed Completionist Capes? Honestly, sounds a bit ridiculous to have 5k castle wars games played. Hopefully - they'll change this in the future (like they changed the reward for the Livid Farms)
  20. None, all these methods are horrible. If your name is indeed iPK jacob - these are some options you can look into: 1.) start leveling up farming - it may not be awesome this moment but you'll be making a ton for a 5 minute herb run soon enough 2.) mort myre fungus (last I heard - picking these net ~600k ish an hour?) EDIT: Just realized you said you have 99 WC and 99 Fishing so your account isn't iPK jacob. Mind giving us the stats of the account you're using? Maybe we can get you better information/advice.

  22. AI already plays games better than humans. A bot can't reply dynamically to questions, nor can it think on its own. And because it can't think on its own, it could be baffled by complex, unknown situations and just shut down. Plus humans can learn tricks, timings, psychology, and can adapt to different opponents based on their levels/gear. Sure, some AI might be better than some humans, but the AI NEVER beats every human in a game. I understand what you're saying but - No human can beat every other human in a game. Some of the bots sound to be pretty complex. The amount of botters at some places (i.e minigames) baffle me. These minigames aren't exactly easy to play, and coding a bot so that they can play a minigame (usually pretty decently) is pretty impressive. Obviously, they can't respond to any circumstances - but they're good for a lot of them. I mean look at PC. The amount of bots there, who can successfully target a portal when the barrier falls, spec monsters, open doors, get onto the boats - make it seem like these bots are pretty complex. I wonder how much time these coders actually spend on making these bots.
  23. Where the hell did you get that figure from? He only has access to the first three pouches and he's level 50. That means the majority of his runes are going to be the lower leveled ones - and the bonus exp is going to be atrocious. Steam is definitely the faster alternative for a long time (at least til 75 - by far)
