This - however, you seem pretty rich (having 95 prayer and all) I would suggest try and getting extremes to boost your kills per hour. Black demons are pretty good for charms - however I don't know how you can get a black demon off aggro form you so a bot kills it (other then setting the cannon on one end, when it's getting to be almost dead - run to the other side of the room and when the demon gets there run back). However, this will almost certainly be slower then just killing the demon (and wasting your potential 800 hit) and starting on a new one. I found that a whip was good enough - and you should be killing them pretty easily. I'm not familiar with exactly how turmoil works - but you should be killing them pretty fast (esp. with a cannon and void) so I don't know if the delayed kicking in of the drained stats will be better then piety. Then again, I don't have curses. This is just something you might want to look into though.

You should train summoning to 92 to unlock Wolpertingers asap. Training summoning to 93 is always a good idea - especially if you have the charms. (You have to use them anyways - it's not like you'll get any more exp out of 1 charm today rather then tomorrow) However, rushing to 93 just for the Abyssal Titan is probably not the best idea. Pure essences are crashing now - and they've been buying for way less the GE median for the past few days. If you have a few mil spare - just go and buy a few hundred k worth of pure essence. They're something that is sold in relatively large numbers and I don't suppose that they'll drop past 100 or so. Because of this, I don't think that mining the essence to use in RC would be the best method to train. You obtain extremely poor exp for mining it and RC is slow enough as it is - that would just make everything slower. However, if you're one of those players that like to create stuff from start to finish - Good luck to you.

RS has to keep updating the game. I feel that for lower leveled people - they have TONS of alternatives to train (for most skills). It's not like they can just investigate the bots and not do anything in the mean time :/

lol, I went on to check if they had banned any bots in the past few days and I was surprised to see that they took down their numbers :o This was their response: "We actually ban hundreds of thousands of accounts every year and we felt that it would be misleading to display a significantly smaller number by only publishing the number of names collected during these in-game bot busting sessions. " Hundreds of thousands of accounts :/

I think you got 99 crafting a LONG time ago. Other then the fact that this would take a pretty long time - the shops have updated. All the shops are personalized now - so that each person's shop is completely different. (I might be mistaken - but I don't think changing the world will change your stock)

Oh, and killing Bork once a day gives 5 blue, 7 crimson and 2 green charms Although it's not a lot - the blues are a nice addition. Having Elite Varrock Diaries completed doubles them to 10/14/4 and if you have a ROW - this increases also increases the amount of charms Bork drops. However, I don't know if it stacks with the diary affect.

I didn't find that Abberant Spectres had good drop rates (they might have a high ratio) You might know this already - but completing the familiarisation, you can get TRIPLE the charms dropped for a little bit. If you really wanted to - you could burst (but make sure you get a partner to help you get in there first) lobs for the fastest way possible. Otherwise - you can just do waterfiends with a crush weapon (namely SS)

If you don't want to grind out hours of whatever money making method it requires to get to 70 piety - you should just learn how to flash prayer. It takes a little practice (and it's hard to notice at first if you're getting it right or not) but basically turn it on - right before you make your attack animation. I usually turn it on a little bit after my attack animation and then turn it off right after my animation. Theoretically, it's possible to pray losslessly using this method. However, with my imperfect praying - I never spend more then one or two full prayer potion (for piety) when slaying.

that's weird. were you using the same urn for everything? higher leveled urns should allow higher level fishes to fill urns. they don't block fishes from filling up the urn.
-
It could be right, what sort of gear/location did you chin at? Cannoning is pretty expensive - and it's usually a pretty heavy loss per hour (with the exception of having yaks, etc) I still do think that chinning in ape atoll is a good idea. Other then that - you can always just melee your slayer tasks and bring a cannon along with you. That's how I leveled my range a bit because I don't normally train it.

How many hours does it take to get all 99's
LitterBug replied to iamsomebody1's topic in Data and Research
I think the problem arises as we're trying to find a "perfect" minimal amount of hours to get all 99's. However, a lot of these things just aren't viable. Also, a lot of the time - you're assuming that these guys are raking in tons of money. That's rarely the case - as you can tell from the high scores, there are MUCH more people with 99's in trainable as opposed to buyables. -
Are mediums only good for practice keying? Other then familiarization with the puzzles/combat experience (i.e prayer flashing, etc) - do you gain anything other then gatestone placement?

the 5 and 8 are just constant numbers. think of it as a linear push upwards all that formula is to calculate your max hit (using str for the level and gear bonus) and calculating your max accuracy (using atk for the level and your style's attack bonus) then you compare your max accuracy to your opponents defense's max roll i'm not sure, but i seem to have read in a few places that these rolls are uniformly distributed. If this is so, since your str never gets scaled down (adding x str bonus will always result in a y gain in max hit) while your atk is a percentage and it depends on your opponent's roll. (this is a little harder to explain but basically adding x atk bonus early on is good but as your atk bonus increases, you get less and less result - percentage wise)

Wind rushing = slow and I don't think you can auto cast it. If you're going through all that trouble - you might as well buy some real runes.
-
i guess maybe nobody would interrupt him? champion scrolls are kind of hard/annoying to find so he might be after that?
-
or the traditionally frost dragon route. if you can handle the bots that is.
-
when you use/store a fairy ring location - it gets automatically stored. i feel it's faster since it can move more then one circle at a time when you can only do one i keep around ~100 of each teleport tablet in my bank if I ever need to do something. You never know exactly which book you'll be on or why you might switch so I found this super handy.
-
Um, I don't believe they're actually good. However, at 68 summoning - there aren't very many useful combat familiars you would want to use. I don't really pick up gem drops, or any herb/miscellaneous drops so I don't see a need for a war tortoise really. You might want to use a spirit kyaak or something although the cost is 30-40kish? per pouch and if you want to use scrolls, that number jumps up a lot.
-
Um, if you're using a cannon - I think you should probably use an attacking/combat familiar or a barker toad(?) I find that when I cannon (in multicombat zones), I generally take more damage then I can heal with a Bunyip - so I just bring prayer pots and just protect against everything.
-
Your idea just sounds pretty random (and doesn't make any sense). Why would Jagex implement extra damage with metallic armor vs not? Would it be better just to not wear any armor then? Armadyl armor is definitely not metallic as well.

how'd you get your health so high? :o -
edgeville men? they drop them pretty fast and they're right next to the bank. bring that familiar with you (that increases herb drop rates)

If you want a good approximation of how many dragons per hour - you need to tell us: a.) the gear you are using (he uses rapier, i guess with d def, d boots, barrow gloves, the rest doesn't really matter) b.) your levels c.) turmoil/piety (l2read) d.) yak e.) overloads or extremes? when are you repotting (l2read) I was thinking about responding to him, but I kind of tucked the info in the last sentence, so it was easy to miss. I was really only looking for a ballpark estimate anyway. It seems like 150-200/hr is what I should be shooting for. You said you were using a rapier (what about the rest of your gear? unless you're only using a rapier) I mean, I was asking this so you would get a better estimate. Additionally, if there was anything wrong with your setups - somebody from Tip.It would probably correct you/show you a good alternative set-up. However, if all you were looking for is a 50 kill / hour range - then I guess good luck with Frost Dragons!

BEST DAY EVER!

Grats, did you range the whole task? How long did it take you? I plan on just deflecting him to death as soon as I can get some quests done :P -
When I'm on slayer at least - for most tasks, I need either need to pray (due to a large multicombat zone and I'm cannoning) or a bunyip is more then enough healing (for most tasks in the Brimhaven dungeons - giants/lessers/greaters/etc). I suppose a EEE is okay? But I think an offensive spec weapon would cut down the time on your tasks (however, a DDS is often better then a korasi - unless it's on a high def monster or a dragon
