How many hours does it take to get all 99's
LitterBug replied to iamsomebody1's topic in Data and Research
mining 85k+ xp/h as at 99 you can get 100k ish with urns now and thats withsuperheating and dropping just said 85k but possibly more averaged out construction 850k xph woodcutting 100k xp/h with urns averaged out considering you can get 140k at pines fishing 75k+ xp/h averaged out, urns?.... thieving 250k xp/h averaged out at least Rc 1-14 airs takes like 16 minutes 14-50 with fires couple hours 50-99 zmi ands up averaging almost 60k xp/h all the way takes bout 220 hours for 99 rc Is training RC still the slowest skill out there (without the use of effigy and the likes?) This just got a whole lot more pertinent to me since I'm hopefully gunning for the completionist cape. -

Unlock the 'scroll of cleansing' ability."[/hide] Unlock the scroll of cleansing ability is an awful strange one What about the scroll of life/augury/rigour/etc? That seems like a whoel ton of extra work - are the stats of the trimmed cape - significantly better? I sure hope so :/ -
Slayer is the best way to train slayer, but it's not the best way to get money... Still ok cash? I think the real money for slayer comes in a little bit (at least 75 to get whips at least) You should be getting a decent amount of -whips -dragon boots -seeds of different sorts -alchable items -staff of light These are just the first things that come to my mind - there is definitely a whole LOT more

Whoa, what exactly are the requirements for the trimmed cape? Just the 5,000 hours of castle wars played? Is there any additional stats to it? -
Are you totally sure about that? I keep hearing stuff about void mage and I'm never quite sure about it... Void Mage + ahrim top: ~60+ m accuracy with a 30% boost Full ahrim: ~100+ m accuracy I don't think the void boost applies to the raw stat, otherwise void mage alone would make very little sense. As for pvp, you're probably better of hybriding than tailoring a set of gear to max out magic, though you would be hitting consistently high and often, people can counter it if they're prepared. In pvp I believe the chaotic staff is mostly used by mage pures who do not want to raise their attack for a damage boost (it has no attack requirement). I'm not completely sure about this. Not that if you don't have a void set - you can have a mage's book (+15) and a barrow's glove (+6) I'm not entirely sure how your magic level factors in for accuracy but I'm under the assumption it's not that much. Otherwise - you would see people w/ a void mage set at rock lobs rather then ahrim's.
-
IIRC, the void mage set is pretty useless. I think the bonus only applies to the accuracy of magic attacks and not the damage. You should be better off using Ahrim's unless you're switching styles of course. But I couldn't think why you would? If you're really poor and you can't afford Ahrim's - I can see it being useful for bursting rock lobs (since you get prayer bonus from elite void). However, if you're bursting - you're probably not that poor.
-
Um, if you have no other channels to join - you may as well join DGS now. It's nice to sit in a chat and at least get to know the people before you start DG-ing with them in the future. In regards to doing larges - it definitely won't be easy getting into floors at first (especially without floors 30+). It does seem that most of the clan does hoccs + warped (that may just be that the higher leveled members are more active) - but they do offer a good selection of abandons + loccs. Also, it might help you to sit in because throughout the day - various people do ask for C1's from like 1-29 (usually). These floors are usually sub 2 minutes and may be a good way for you to clear your C1's without having to do them and taking 3-4 minutes per.
-
I don't understand the mentality of this. Why should something be super exclusive - why can't we just enjoy a cape even if it's not super exclusive? It's not like the stats of the items decrease if tons of other people have it? I'm a little confused by this all. I'm really interested in seeing the stats of some of these capes - and I do think that it's a nice touch to the game. It's not like Jagex can really keep unloading new weapons/armor all the time - so update something that doesn't have too much variety to it i.e capes.

^This Supposedly - the RoW does increase the chances of you getting a "rare" for TT. However, how the game determines a "rare" item may not be in your favor (i.e they may increase the chance of a rune (t) plate body or something but not the chances of a "not" rare Zammy page) Most of this is speculation (what is considered rare or not) but I would still use it if I'm completing a large amount of clue scrolls.
-
Yes and no. Since its all luck, just because a drop rate is 1/300 doesnt mean it has to be 1/300. You can easily go 600+ kills with out a drop. And i'm pretty sure that it's not 3/300. It would be my best guess that after you get the first drop, it would reset the drop rate for your next super rare boss specific item to 1/300 again. In a perfect world that is. lolol. Unfortunately - probability of multiple things occuring is an independent event. It only makes sense as the way RS codes their programs. Otherwise, killing in a group means a lot higher drop chances per boss which is simply not that case.

... and you're missing the same point that Darkdude has so happily glossed over -- and the point of the thread, to wit: Jagex made a claim that they're "bot-busting", using uber-super-secret-detection-methods, in which they'd involve pmods and jmods. Meanwhile, at THAT SAME TIME, this bot is scurrying about and the Pmod at the scene did bupkus, son-of-bupkus, return-of-son-of-bupkus and bupkus-the-next-generation about it ... Now, I understand that some people have issues with IRONY and understanding complex problems -- but you'd think that someone would understand the issue here? I'm surprised that some as arrogant as you isn't a PMod. I didn't miss the point of the thread - I'm fairly certain nobody has. Jagex is bot busting. It doesn't mean Jagex is going to be catching every single god damn little bot out there. As far as this game is concerned - it's a step (however small) in the right general direction. You're complaining about how the pmod did nothing - while in fact, you have no idea what the pmod did. The pmod may not have muted the botter - but he still could've reported it. (Which apparently is more then you did). You'd think somebody who has so much to gripe about botters/pmods and the sort would report the offender. Or at least ignore them if they're bothering you so much. So let me get this straight - 1.) you see the problem i.e the botter 2.) you're annoyed by the botter 3.) you want the pmod to take action and mute/report the bot 4.) you can also mute/report the bot (wait is that a solution?) but you don't 5.) ?????? 6.) Complain about Jagex/the state of the game/pmods/how you're not a pmod
-
At the end of the day - you still don't know the pmod didn't report the bot. It literally takes a few seconds to do - and nobody (but Jagex) would have any evidence. The pmod may not have muted the bots but that's probably for a different reason. The so called "bot" a.) wasn't offending anybody b.) wasn't trying to scam somebody I mean - it may have been spamming but obviously, spamming isn't a huge deal (or Jagex can easily limit the output/messages sent through the system) Even, so - I don't see what all the fuss is about. I highly doubt - any action would have been taken even if the pmod reported the bot. It's not like you can ban somebody for pressing 0's a bunch of times. Maybe the pmod has been disillusioned as well with the game - and just resorts to playing it as they wish and helping those who are a little lost in the game. They don't have to be constantly on the watch for botters/etc because that's a never ending losing fight.

This, all quite correct. Personally I brought as many as 8 brews because I intended to use vengeance on Jad. But if you have ovl + super prayer, you can bring something like 3 ovl - 10 super prayer - eee and have 14 spaces to bring random crap, such as mage gear (?), broad arrows for fletching xp (??) or maybe alchs (???). is there a guide to sidestepping 360's? (Like a video one so I can clearly see what's going on)
-
At your combat level - I don't think barrows is a really effective way of making money However, by finishing My Arm's Big Adventure/Fairy Tale I/II/III - you can make farming a lot easier It's a great way of making money inbetween your skilling/slayer/etc
-
From a glance at your Adventurer's log page - here is what I think you should do: Lunar Diplomacy Deam Mentor My Arm's Big Adventure The Fued Fairy Tale I,II,III
-
Then, it's a good thing Jagex never bans anybody eh?
-
Had this question a while back:
-
At 71, you wouldn't go there (except maybe with an artic bear) because the catch rate absolutely 100% sucks. I was there at 70 and again at 72, at both times - I found that catching black salamanders was significantly better.
-
Would would a herbicide be more effective then a bonecrusher? Herbicides are terrible - and you'll get barely (if any) more exp per hour then prayer. Plus prayer exp is more expensive then herblore exp.
-
Why doesn't Jagex incorporate this to stop bots?
LitterBug replied to iamsomebody1's topic in General Discussion
Ye but im not being mean but your just one person they probably ruin the experience of 2/3 of the valid runescape population. This is totally untrue - and random as well. I do admit that bots do make me feel like I'm being cheated but think about the past few days for rune essences. When the Jagex (either banned the rune essence mining bots) or somehow broke it - the price of pure essences shot through the roof - over 150. Who the hell is going to RC if it's a.) one of the slowest skills in the game b.) provides no real benefit c.) takes a chunk out of your bank? This is for a relatively unpopular skill such as RC - I couldn't imagine what would happen to the price in game if bots were totally banned. It would be almost impossible to level prayer/herblore at any effective rate without massive merchanting involved. For the most part - bots don't bother me in the game (other then the fact that they make my achievements feel not as great) Either way - you can 99.999% beat a bot in whatever they do so I don't really consider them a threat. In many cases, you can exploit a bot to make your own rs-ing more fun/effective. I dont understand the bit where you say its costly without bots, with bots ess price is lower but runes are higher so atm you spend less but make less profit. And it has alot of benefits like every skill in the game (apart from firemaking) Btw i am f2p so maybe what i am saying isnt valid in members but i am pretty sure it has some truth Your profit is not less. When paying ~180 coins PER pure essence - you take a hit on every rune crafted. HOWEVER, at the lower prices (they're usually around 100) you made profit rc-ing albeit very little. RC really doesn't have much of an impact on the game (other then bringing in runes but you don't specifically need to be the one crafting it) -
Really only works for the lower level'ed hunters only (once you unlock chins - you really don't need to train on anything that drops bones) Also, it's a nice item to have when on slayer. However, like he said - it's not worth it if you don't plan on dg in the future.
-
So if you already have the scrolls - you can click the summoning familiar interface (just click the wolf circle underneath your health circle) and click the top left button (either that or the top right one)

It's not like the items disappear.

Wait isn't cannon's only *slightly* affected by your armour etc? And also Dragon Defender has -2 range accuracy so surely it is minimally detrimental to the cannons accuracy taking it away not giving it.... :???: cannon is based on your highest attack bonus (if im not mistaken) it doesn't depend on range or anything in particular.
