Start farming - work on getting the most profits from herbs. Farming is especially good for people who don't play multiple hours straight but can log on for like 10-15 minutes every 2 hours or so. Also, farming is just a skill that takes a while to train - there's no real way around that. You might as well start now - that way if you ever decide you want to get farming to like 85 or something, you'll be well on your way!

I'm guessing he never found out/made a rule for slayer? Is it just how much constitution you'll gain if the monsters didn't heal at all?
-
Any bonus exp will not count towards the multiplier.

It was just an option to explore. I don't do it too heavily - I only do it when I need the items and I notice that a good amount can actually be made selling them. Additionally, same for the quest items. I would read a quest guide - figure out I need x. Check the GE to figure out that there's none of "x" in the GE. Leave my offer in there for a few days, get a few of them bought at normal prices - stick those items minus what I need for a fair bit above GE mid and they sell. Yeah, they don't sell like 10k in an hour but it's surprising how well/fast they do actually sell considering that these items are used mainly for questing anyways.
-
Except one problem - they won't sell at 200 if they're easily bought at med (if it only takes you a minute to buy like 25k - it's probably not a good item to flip) And your yellow/blue lines have some indication of where the price is going but there are many factors to take into account. http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/Coal/viewitem.ws?obj=453 ^Going by that chart, it looks like coal would be an amazing item to merch However, keep in mind that it's going up in part due to bonus exp weekend So right after the weekend, they're going to start crashing again.
-
He's talking about the bonus exp that you get for doing damage OP: it makes sense - if your opponent is at 50 lp and you would've done 100 damage melee, the exp that you get would still be calculated from the 50 damage that you did. If it worked the other way - training range would be super easy, just kill something low leveled with extremely bad range defense and spawns a lot

I just wanted to say that you shouldn't only be looking at items that sell at a volume. Granted the money invested in these will be much much more fluid - but at the same time, they probably won't make that much profit. You might want to look at some quest item/hard to get item/things of the sort that trade at a relatively low volume. This way, you can have a better control of the market. A few things though - the cash invested in these will be much less fluid, and you won't be able to sell them off as easily But if you pick the right item, people will pay a LOT over GE a times because they want to get their hands on these and they rather not waste an hour or so trying to get random items for a quest.

I think Quyneax said it as a precaution. That way, Op doesn't check the tree without the stat boosts or else he'd be losing on exp
-
No, it won't. Why would buying whips and then selling them for MORE drop whip prices? you're not buying whips off the ge to resell. you're buying it from people near the ge trying to get a quick sale off - it's a pretty frequently advertised item. then i wait like na hour or two and see what i can fetch for it on ge. i generally don't like waiting so i undercut the market to get an auto sell (if prices are too low, I wouldn't) since I'm not waiting for a decent price to come through, the price that the whips sell at are lower then they would normally be (had I waited) which leads to a drop in price...
-
Whips are weird - it seems like they're easier to merch of people selling then in the GE. I end up at the GE a lot (I'll go there after a slayer task or farming or something along those lines) and if you see somebody undercutting the market a lot then pick those up. Then you go back and undercut the GE price to get a quick sale. This is probably bad in the long run, seeing as this will drop the prices of whips but I care more about my money being easily accessible and movable rather then something that takes a while to sell.

if your not going to give decent advice, get the [bleep] out of H&A. Oh for your "cannoning is a great idea" Please check his stats, and refer to his comment: "I have a low budget of around 2M-if really stretching I could bring it to 3M. I'm happy to do combat if it is relatively fast experience, and I enjoy minigames, however my lack of good combat ability means I'm bad against dragons and other players, whcih rules soul wars, green dragons, blue dragons, and also the higher levels of the shades of mort'ton minigame out."

if your not going to give decent advice, get the [bleep] out of H&A. You're definately right. It's impossible to flip with a 4 mil cash pile. Never mind the fact that I made close to a mil today and the most I ever had was about 5.5 mil in the G.E. This wasn't even me trying to flip - I threw in an offer for some herbs and I noticed how high it jumped in a few hours.
-
I'd probably go for tiresome/expensive skills Herblore/Farming/Construction/Smithing/Agility After your bonus drops to 1.1, Summoning is a great way to make the most out of your charms.

Yes, because all of RS have 30 mil to spend on amardyl armor. You do realize that if you want to range, http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Armadyl_armour http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Barrows_equipment#Karil_The_Tainted_.28Ranged.29 -If you want to justify spending an additional 25 mil or so for 6 extra range bonus + the fact that amardyl doesn't degrade - that's fine but don't assume everybody will do that Don't blame others if you're not clear about what you're saying. If you want to jumble up preposition and refer to things without being clear - that's on you. Nobody's trying not to understand you - you're just hard to understand. I will bet you 100k gp that you are the only one who didn't understand what Bladewing said/meant. It was quite clear to me. inb4 people post just to see me lose 100k. >_> It does seem that way :( I thought the OP wanted to range some of his slayer tasks - didn't know he wanted to go melee and just build for magic defense on waterfiends.

? Karil is not melee armor... So when fighting a melee monster - rather then bring veracs or guthans, you would opt for karils?

I've never done CT WFS, but at 100 crimsons/hour in the Mithril Cavern, I sometimes struggle to keep my health up, even with a unicorn, EEE, and overloads. I'll stick with Karil's. :P ...How? I used to have no trouble living on a bunyip and SGS specials in full void with super sets and no prayer when I was getting 99 summoning. How could you POSSIBLY have trouble with hp there? @ litter, let me rephrase- you don't range anything in slayer. You don't really need magic defense either. It sounded like OP wanted to range - although if he was just looking for magic defense then I apologize
-
I'm pretty sure was asking about all around slayer Or maybe you're right. Maybe he's building a slayer set only around waterfiends.

http://forum.tip.it/topic/289336-how-many-potions-per-hour/ If I had a dollar for every time this question popped up in the last three weeks, I'd have enough to pay a runescape membership for years >.<
-
Holy [cabbage], that is a brilliant idea. It's not that much of a novelty. Plus in switching over - you lose +30/+17 (+47) range bonus for a +8 prayer bonus? I didn't think that was worth it but apparently it is? You might as well just replace Ava's accumulator - trade +4 range for +12 prayer.

On Rs wiki: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Tears_of_Guthix_%28Distraction_and_Diversion%29 "The game relies heavily on the player's quest points. The more quest points a player has, the longer the player is able to collect tears, and therefore the more experience the player gets. The formula for the time a player has is thought to be the players Quest Points in Ticks which is 0.6 of a second, plus a certain amount of seconds which is the lowest limit (possibly 45 to 60 seconds). 43 quest points are required for the Tears of Guthix quest. A player with 291 quest points has about 3 minutes (or 180 seconds). " So officially on the RS wiki site - it depends on QP but I wouldn't doubt the fact that the longest you can stay in there remains the same.
-
If you're going to slay - black mask/slayer helm >> void Just throw on some Karil
-
the 1 tear per tick is true the 1 tick per qp is false. It WAS 1 qp per tick aaaaaggggggges ago, but a good 2 years ago now total tog time stopped going up, instead each new quest has just made 1 qp worth less time in there. So regardless of your qp - you get to stay in TOG for the same amount of time?

 Chuckle LOL. my inability to spell amazes me sometimes.
-
lol Also, no reason to not do magic seeds especially if you're getting 2.7x exp :o
