Use a combination of: http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/frontpage.ws http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=smithing_guide.htm http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=smith_smelt_calc.htm I would understand if you were asking an efficiency problem - but if you're just asking for rates, might as well calculate it yourself.

For now, it seems like all your levels are pretty low. The best way to do it is probably: 1.) Start farming ranaars + limpwurts and selling them to make money 2.) Train construction - buy a guilded altar - admittedly, this route will be super expensive. However, with the bonus exp coming up - you might be able to get to lvl 70 construction for a cheaper price Honestly - you just need to get your combat/dg up in the long run to access chaotic weaponry/frost dragons. A HUGE part of money making comes solely from boss hunting/pvm while farming does provide a decent profit as well Start doing quests - unlock MTK first and foremost while farming. Look around, people all have different ways to make money - pick one you like and just work on that. I like gaining exp, and I don't mind sacrificing a little less gp/hr if I can grab some exp along the way - but here are some of my ways of making money a.) hunter - I've been grabbing grey chins while alching so I get extra profit/hunter exp however, once you unlock red chins - you'll be making upwards of 250k - 300k an hour (I hear) b.) crafting - I used to loot the safe case in the rogue den (that was soooooo annoying), and then either sold the gems or crafted with them -some easy to sell items are sapphire necklance (enchanted) and emerald ring (enchanted) c.) fishing - one of the easier afk-able task If I wnat to watch a movie or something, I'll usually do this - although profits have plummeted with the addition of wildy There's tons of ways to make money, but that really does seem like what you need the most at the moment.

Does your dbl xp counter go down when use...
LitterBug replied to AnneFrank's topic in Help and Advice
It shouldn't seeing as f2p worlds don't support the bonus exp weekend. -
How many times have you clicked on runescape.com after a hit on google? My experience: never Whenever I want to look up a question or a reference for runescape - it usually directs me to rs.wiki/tip.it/salmoneus This doesn't mean runescape is declining - however, by the increasing amount of people doing things that I used to do alone makes me believe that RS is actually getting more popular.
-
Well, people can pk you and steal your loot. Killing one person can be faster then killing multiple green dragons and you can also make a lot more money as well :D

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!

That guy in the back cut off part of her body didnt he? Apparently Magic Secateurs aren't just for farming. -
The average bonus should be easy to calculate (albeit a little time consuming). Try to make sure that you make all your unfinished potions ahead of time. Then (always try to assume low) that you'll be making about 1750-1850 potions an hour and then calculate it from there. EDIT: Why does everybody say to make special recovers? Is it a cheap way to level, or is it just nice to have special recovers
-
What kind of food? You shouldn't really need food if you're going to pray the whole time. Apparently, there's an altar right upstairs so if you bring monkey greegree - you should be fine.
-
^I would probably do monkfishes til 90 before the rocktails Monkfishes are decent exp and they sell for a decent amount. Sharks are horrible exp, and their prices have almost halved since the release of free trade.
-
Depends on what your herblore is - but there has been at least one or two topics created every day asking people what they should do to level herblore. Smithing - probably crafting whatever your highest metal item is Although, superheating gold ores would be nice - bonus mage and smithing exp.

Slayer: Ring of Slaying or Slayer Helmet First?
LitterBug replied to Teryaki's topic in Help and Advice
Maybe towards the end but I feel now, I don't really have much use of a slayer full helm > a slayer ring. You don't need a fsh for cave crawlers (just go to the ones in the fremenick slayer dungeon/cave) I have sumona and I did a few tasks (not that many - about 30 or so) but I never got the spectre/DKS tasks. I have gotten banshees (maybe 2-3 times) but it seems like for the most part, either the monsters are so low leveled that you don't need the extra defense or the monsters are so high leveled - you're going to pray them anyways in which case it doesn't matter. This is just speaking from my experience - I probably will go for slayer full helm first, and then buy a ring or two every so often to make teleporting faster while saving up for the ability to learn how to craft rings. -
It's also about 1/4 the price of Bandos for the same strength bonus. Buy it. This. How do people look at Bandos and zerker ring and decide Bandos is the one they want? Less defense than barrows, less str bonus than zerker, and more expensive than zerker. Because it looks good and it's more new. Honestly, that's all there is to it. It's 'cool' to have bandos armour. No offense, but your opinion is [developmentally delayed]ed and you should feel bad for having it. This is the H&A forum, not the "hay guyz wat looks cool 2 wear ??!?!" forum. Regardless of your stance on efficiency, this forum is all about giving people advice on what's most EFFICIENT. You're welcome to make a fashion thread in GD, but don't spout [cabbage] here. I don't think he was advocating the use of bandos armor > beserker armor. He was just trying to justify why others thought it was a better idea.
-
^ The spawns are pretty [cabbage]ty and if you try to take out the queen, she'll break your cannon. Getting the Sumona special task to kill the queen sucks :(
-
He wanted melee exp, not slayer exp. Why would you do slayer if you don't want slayer exp? Oh, I wasn't aware that when you trained slayer you got ONLY slayer exp. True but training melee only is faster then training slayer.
-
I did, and I don't really see what your point was in making that post. I was trying to say that the rising price is a random thing and not necessarily due to bonus exp weekend.
-
If you look around, depending on GE prices - super heating isn't a bad idea. You might even profit but the GE is crazy right now. I think the fastest exp - you should just make earth runes.
-
I was under the impression that the bonus exp weekend is only for p2p. If that's the case, I highly doubt any member is crafting air talisman for their bonus weekend. ^however, some people may be buying them for summoning - but I don't know how popular it is to train like that.
-
You should be getting a cannon. It's expensive, but god it saves so much time on tasks. Also make sure to complete 'Smoking Kills' to start getting slayer points. Since we have similar combat levels (relatively - I'm going to be basing it off of Sumona tasks, at least those I've done so far) For MOST of the tasks, a simple strength set up will suffice. I run with -whip, defender, black mask, barrows body/legs, dboots, ddef, glory, obby cape, regen bracelet and a ferocious ring. For 90% of the lower leveled tasks, a whip would actually be better then whatever attack style the monster is weak to. -a super set (just the attack/str) and a few sharks are more then enough Sometimes you get a little harder tasks i.e. Hellhounds, Fire Giants, Black Demon, Metal Giants, etc For these, a cannon will be fine (I just do fire giants at brimhaven without a cannon - although the first 10-15 minutes are annoying as the wild dogs keep attacking you) With a cannon task, I usually just replace my setup above with prostelyte instead of the barrows body/legs. ^For cannonable tasks - make sure to bring a super attack/str Actually melee-ing the monsters may not produce that much more of an kill count but it definitely helps the cannon hit at a much higher rate. Since you're a lot richer then I am, you might want to get -Fury -Better cape I haven't really needed to go back to bank or get more food, etc for the most part except for fire giants (and I don't even carry a summoning familiar) However, summoning is really important later on

Not enough. Looking for somebody who wanted to borrow them might take time. If you're looking to invest, do it with something else. If you want to use it - you might as well buy it. Either way, making money from buying dclaws - lending them out or investing in them isn't the greatest option. Especially for an item worth about ~20 mil. EDIT: On top of that, Dclaws are crashing. http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/Dragon_claws/viewitem.ws?obj=14484

Yeah, definitely start out planting watermelons. I did it for a pretty long time (but after a while, it gets tedious) I do keep a few in my bank to make into super compost. For me, I usually plant ranarr + limp everywhere, but the snapdragon in trollheim. The exp is pretty bad, but if you can one or two tree runs a day - it'll be a lot better.
-
He cant get a Slayer Helm yet. Nez helm untill you can. A black mask would be better if he's focusing on slaying.

how does my herblore plan look for double xp?
LitterBug replied to Man_Of_Doom's topic in Help and Advice
I'm hoping that my math is correct. Which is basically all that I needed. super defence not only has a good xp/gp ratio but the cost of supplies is low. Some of the other potions have greater xp/gp ratio but cost 10k for supplies. Super defence only costs me 4.5k each. Since I have a limited amount of funds I voted for the method in which I can buy the most pots... not the fastest. I understand now, my bad for that argument earlier. Even with the multiplies - super defense is the best pot to make during the beginning of your bonus exp weekend. It's a little hard trying to calculate exact values for herblore since the prices have been absolutely insane the past couple of days. However, if you really want to train herblore and you have some time to kill - grabbing super attacks (maybe you played like 10 hours or so - and your multiplier is only 1.1) may not be a bad way to go. Again, calculating prices is kind of a pain because the GE prices changes a lot everyday - and on top of that, herbs aren't buying/selling at the dictated price :( -
how does my herblore plan look for double xp?
LitterBug replied to Man_Of_Doom's topic in Help and Advice
My mistake, I didn't realize that he said he was making super defense til 85. It sounded like he wanted to make super defense over super anti fires due to the cheap exp/hour. If he already has his supplies bought, (and seeing as he only bought supplies for super defense/antifire, I don't see how we're supposed to make an input. -
Oh, so a level 99 ranger will have the same max as a level 1 ranger given the same ranged strength bonus? Except the level 1 range can use the same armor :P (JK, i know that range level is a factor for void armor)

how does my herblore plan look for double xp?
LitterBug replied to Man_Of_Doom's topic in Help and Advice
This is true if you are super rich and can afford to do it that way. But for the average joe that needs to profit or at least come close to breaking even its better to stick to the gp/xp ratios even if it does mean losing out on xp. Did you read his thread at all? He already has the supplies bought. When you're on your 2.7x - you think it's wiser to use a good ratio rather then a good exp/hour potion?
