~ Gold and Crimsom Charm Drops ~
What are your combat stats? I tried both hill giants and moss giants - and it turns out that moss giants are a LOT better drop despite the higher level. Plus, I got an effigy from one :P Nothing really drops crimsons at a "decent" drop rate. I know wiki lists a couple of monsters at like 4-5% drop rate but it's totally false.

Spicy Stew
Hey, I was thinking about leveling up herblore. I'm planning only to make super atk/str/def & antifires then the extreme versions and finally the overload potions in the end. I was wondering if getting spicy stews to help me with my herblore was a good idea - so I had a few questions. -How many potions (using one unfinished potion + one secondary) can you make in a minute as I understand that's how long a stat boost lasts for? (No scroll of cleansing) -How many spices can you get in an hour? I'm mainly going for brown so I'd probably be dropping the spices I don't need (unless it's a spice that's pretty useful later on in training) Thanks a lot guys!

Need help with Dungeoneering, players needed
That's might be true, about the complexity 6 difficulty 1:1 I do use complexity 6 & difficulty 1:1 Yes I'm trying it get into the Mining Guild Hidden resource dungeon. but how can I do the dungeons/penguin points/tears of guthix when i'm a f2p world? Ok but your right tears/penguins probably aren't a viable method. If I was a member that would be a difference story, maybe Jagex should use the money form funorb and the people who pay for runescape and make it f2p going into the p2p areas or something like that. But you need money for the appropriate gear as well . The fact is money doden't come cheap when your in dg and you have to sell items to get money. There's a whole reason why f2p is f2p and p2p is p2p. If you're just going to pour the money you make into getting people from f2p into p2p - then nobody's going to go p2p. F2p is VERY limited in terms of what you can do and what you are able to do. For money, high alch stuff in the dungeon - that's probably the best way to get it. You can craft Natures in the DG even though it's member but you gotta have the RC for that. Otherwise, you can just ask people to help you start a large then have them quit. You can then toil away slowly and hopefully get the money needed to buy the ores. yeah Just one problem with that: magic level is 46 high alch is level 55, do the math you two. You need to get over yourself - when did you ever tell us your magic level? I'm not going to look up your account to help you when you clearly just want people to rush you through levels. If you're not a good keyer/Dg, don't expect anybody to rush you through especially if you can't even figure out how to kill bosses.

Lost void
^If you want to play PC - I found that it's not too hard to win in the PC world even with bots. All you have to do is get one or two more people to just camp the void knight and kill the guys that get through/heal. I found that my win rate went up drastically then actually trying to bring down portals with bots. EDIT: This gets boring pretty quickly though - most games take like 2-3 minutes (on the novice boat at 2 points per) but at least you win pretty often.

87-90 attack
I don't think slayer is ever the fastest way to train. You can always go undead skeletons with void + the salve amulet. Bandits are super afk-able (but make sure you're paying some sort of attention). I think they give upwards of 55-60k an hour normally (without piety/potions/etc). Also, there's a living rock creature guide and supposedly they're a pretty great way to train as well.

Black Demons + Cannon
^He covered most of it. I did it for slayer so I used a slayer mask and whip/ddf I went there twice and all I took was the cannon, wrench, dusty key, 5 urns, left 4 slots open for drops and the rest pp I finished my task of like 160ish before I used 5 Ppots(4) but I wore intiate You're definitely better off with range attack boosting gear (I had pretty bad range boosts so the cannon hit 0's a bit). I don't think you should go void - get a mixture of prayer and range gear since the cannon far outdamaged me. Since it's multi - I just set up my cannon near the far left (when you go in - you should see a spot with bunched up demons, just set it up there). I never really had a problem with my cannon hitting 2/3 demons at any one time. EDIT: Unless you have a yak - don't bother banking. It's really annoying if you're going to bank every few minutes especially since the cannon kills them pretty quick. I would suggest bringing like 8 or so urns and just banking when the urns are all gone. You can always make back money a different way.

21-Feb-2011 - Attack of the WildyWyrms!
At least make the stupid wyrm drop a brawler glove or something (ANYTHING) worthwhile

A few questions...
I would highly recommend not doing clues for a profit. Some of them take pretty long and especially since you're pretty low leveled - you won't have access to a lot of transportation. Doing lvl 1 clues would probably be a lot more trouble then its worth. However, if you get lucky ... that's a couple mil in the bank for pretty minimal effort.

F2P Quest Requirements
http://runescape.salmoneus.net/quest_skills.html That's what I use for quests - although it contains both f2p and members. An easy way to sort it out is just use Ctrl + F, then enter in * That should lead you to all the f2p quests

A few questions...
He was just being a troll and saying that you type too much. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Quest_experience_rewards But you should definitely level your combat skills - a lot of quests require you to kill monsters and melee is a good way to go. Like people said - go farm, it's definately a great way to get some money. I don't know which sequences of quests take you to 38 farming right away (I'm pretty sure this isn't even possible) but I would quest a little bit if I were you. If you have some money, start buying seeds and just leveling up - if not you can level up thieving (first steel from the tea stall in varrock and then do whatever you feel like) then steal from the master farmer. I would definately look at the requirements for MTK (manage thy kingdom) - and forget everything else about runescape and just bum rush the skills required to do those two quests.

best magic training, non-combative
You can always just use your spells on those few elemental mages near port sarim. I take it that their element wont hurt them (this way at least you can afk a bit)

Herb farming
The stranger plant may be more trouble then it is worth. What you could do I guess is just rush to 82, plant everything you can as often as you can. Once you hit 82, you can just eat when you're running to your patch. It'll take one bite per patch pretty much if you're farming torstols all around and you'll probably be fine. For the herb situation now, just grab a stranger plant - plant the torstol in trollheim. That way, by the time you hit 82 - you already have some start up cash to land back on. Snapdragons would be good for the rest of the patches. Then you can do Torstols all around.

Best way to train Dung.?
^I disagree. I think you get better exp just going solo C6 until at least level 40 or so DG. Finding a group to do a large C6 at a lower level is both a waste of time (not many people try to do the lower levels on large) and inefficient (most of the people who do the lower levels take forever) I would advise you to go C6 until you can get into higher floors which tons of people actually try to do. I was advised that one should be doing larges when they can hit up to floor ~25 - ~30 but even then, it might be pretty slow exp.

Future Update Discussions
LOL. that would be kind of funny. It'll be a giant mole but all over runescape. That would be one hella fun monster to hunt. Fight it - let your familiar follow it across the land before you can hit it D:

Interesting scam that could make the victim good cash
Poor guy who lost all his Third-Age. Has Jagex made any mention about any fixes to this luring/clanwar business? Or even a remake of how they do the items kept on death?
-
God Pages.
Do Vyrewatches still drop them? Sounds like lower leveled combat players can make a decent amount by killing Vyrewatches for the god pages.

PK'ing question
thats [developmentally delayed]ed. op clearly went in there thinking he'd keep his ss, but fell for a dirty trick. your response is suitable for some topics, but not this one. I'm pretty sure that he's posted that same response multiple times in threads where the OP has talked about dying and not having the most valuable items protected but rather the high alch value.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
I think that it might be due to the brawler gloves. If somebody were to stack a few of those urns with some brawlers then they would be seeing like a 40% boost to their exp/hr (since it's already a 20% boost) and one can just stack up a ton before teleporting. That's the only reason I can think of as to why they limit how many full urns you can have. Does brawler gloves even work with urns?

Time to upgrade?
^ My bad - I just re-read the game mechanics guide and I realized I misread it before. I originally thought that your max hit/accuracy rolls weren't based on a uniform distribution but rather a normal one that doesn't exactly scale uniformly with your values calculated from your items + level. After reading that thread, it seems to me that your max attack value (for the accuracy of the hit) is calculated based on both your item bonus + your effective level. Then you get a random "roll" from 0 - your max attack value (with the probabilty density being uniform) and it is compared to your opponent's max defense value which I understand works in a similar fashion. Wouldn't you be better off getting your attack value higher to a certain extent? I'm not sure on how they calculate the exact number for your max attack value/your opponents max defense value but if it's some sort of uniform scaling - it sounds like to a pretty high extent, getting attack is a lot better then getting strength. Since if you multiply the bonuses, your max attack value would be getting bigger at a really high rate while your max damage value while receiving a uniform increase in value (as you said +x strength correlates to a +y in damage) and this increases purely at a linear rate.

Interesting scam that could make the victim good cash
Sounds kind of risky - what if you actually died or they somehow managed to kill you? Loss of Torva, and Divine? :( Doesn't sound like a good idea.

Time to upgrade?
Uhh.. a.) I don't think you know what diminishing returns is - you're referring to the efficiency of it. If you actually were talking about accuracy, then that was a moot point because strength is also acts with diminishing returns. In fact, most skills (if not all) have diminishing return applied to it. b.) I obviously wasn't calling sir a spammer - i was referring to wkw. If you couldn't draw the connection between their post and what I was saying - there's something wrong there. +1 for your post count / -10 for trying to correct other people when you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

Scamming question
This makes no sense. If you're going to give your item to a friend to lend out - why not lend it out yourself? I don't see why you would go though a middle man if you didn't have to :(

Actually you don't even get an extra (fourth) charge. The ER4 still only gives you 3. So unless you would take advantage of the food hamper in Lumbridge, or the ring's ability to superheat and high-alch a few times a day, then no, it's not worth it. ^^ Doing tasks are never a bad idea - (that is if you already have the requirements) It's a nice change of pace and the rewards for doing individual tasks are pretty nice - I try to incorporate some as I do things nearby. Additionally, if I'm really bored of menial things like fishing or crafting or casting a bajillion high alchs - I find that doing tasks serves as a nice break. 68 Smithing and a pretty high RC level? Um no. I guessed the part where I said if you already have the requirements - it's not a bad idea to do it. Even so, leveling up hard skills is not a bad idea. What are you going to do? Just level up WC and never smith/get prayer cause it's hard? Getting the ring is a great idea especially for all the daily bonuses you get. It's a lot more worthwhile to get that then spend a bajillion hours on easy skills. And you're playing in f2p - undoubtably all the skills are going to be harder to train. That doesn't mean you shouldn't train them though.
