Maple is a lot faster but a bit costly. Willows are dirt cheap but a little slower. In the end it's up to you. I'd probably go maple since they're not that expensive (only like ~50 per log) and you can easily make most of that money via RC running or fishing.

As far as I know the multiple rune table is as follows: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=runecrafting_guide.htm#multi Since there's only a 82 - I don't think you can get three astrals per essence.

Why would you have to stay for an hour? That seems like a terrible idea - RS activated the wildy to encourage pkers and you want to discourage them? Odd... Even so, this is more of a global problem. You never keep your dragon boots/claw/etc. So if you happen to hit an unfortunate lag spike when bossing - gf you. You lose all your items and in some cases - you can't get back to the boss that you were at in 15 minutes. My favorite is when the screen white/blacks out. Wtf are you supposed to do about that? Restart your browser? Yeah, but you still can't log in if somebody is attacking you. If you're in an aggressive zone - you won't be able to log out but just being plummed to death :(

Well, how do you determine what items to keep on death then? Having players choose what items to keep is a pretty dumb idea because every time you get an item - you have to choose whether to keep it on death or not. For players that change their inventories/equipments a lot - this is going to be a huge hassle and people are going to start complaining about that. Others say - keep the item worth at the GE price. Now, there are a few flaws with this a.) The GE price fluctuates all the time b.) The GE price may not be true (due to the maximum/minimum increment in trade value a day) c.) Items that don't get put on the GE (untradables) will not have a value. So what kind of plan would you implement that would be better then this admittedly poor rating system for items kept on death?

^ Agreed, I get a lot more then that when I run dungeons and I'm only lvl 62. Some tips to make it fast - switch out your rapier for a 2h. At those dungeoneering levels - slash/crush takes care of pretty much everything. When I DG - I don't really find a dire need to smith armor and you probably don't need to either seeing as your combat > my combat. Don't kill unnecessary monsters, or go fishing if you don't need it. I generally pray throughout the dungeon on some higher leveled monsters and then hope for an alter. While these things won't actually increase your exp per dungeon, it will increase the rate at which you DG.

New to Runescape; would like some advice from veterens!
LitterBug replied to platapierule's topic in Help and Advice
I found that becoming a member is pretty overwhelming - there's a bajillion skills/quests/things to do. I suggest keep playing rs for a while, level up in f2p as much as possible before making the jump. It's pretty dumb if you want to try some new skill/quests only to find out you have to make some boring requirement that could've been just as easily done in f2p. -

You're not in the high scores list yet so your stats don't show up. Post your stats and maybe you'll get some better offers that way. If you can get your fishing up, fishing lobbies at Karamaja and using the stiles bank is not a bad idea Also, I remember running air runes was not a bad idea but look for people who are doing x8 -You don't get any experience but it's an easy way to make money. However, in f2p - you only really need money to buy your armor/weapons. -
Is that with or without Juju potions?
-
He can always just bank the dragonkin lamp. I would probably use it on prayer as that is the most tedious (especially if you're going to kill the monster for the damned bones.
-
Post your stats. Go kill Frost Dragons for 20k per bone - if you have a pack yak, it'll go down so much faster. Depending on your level - farm ranarrs/torstol. I think these two have best yields as of now - although you might want to double check.
-
Nobody is calling you a noob - however, maybe if you had given us more information - there would be more serious advice other then taking ig photos of people. Either way, killing green/blue dragons are great ways to make money.

Or at least give it a few more weeks to settle down. In a month or so (purely an estimate), most of the glitches will be done with - and if not done with, at least you'll have heard of some of them and the others will be patched. That way if you're losing - it's not because of a glitch.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!

Wow the amount people have boggles me. I can make about 1-1.5 mil a day and that's mostly on farming :/ How do people ever get enough to afford multiple party hats/h'ween hats/etc? Now with the advent of staking - you can make hundreds of millions pretty fast but that's a.) dependent on luck (somewhat) b.) a large pool to start with ^How do people even get to that part to start with? :( -
now its boxing no prayers food ..etc its 50/50 cause all options armours..etc are off lol I wouldn't say it's exactly 50-50. While luck may be a huge factor - how you built your account is a large portion of staking too. Plus, I've seen some people who are just good at the game (maybe experienced is a better word) There are some who can pray flash really well - time things so that they don't lose out on hitting when eating, etc. I've never done these things myself - but if you're focused enough and actually try to observe some of this stuff, that would definitely put you ahead in staking. EDIT: To clarify - I wasn't talking about only boxing but all types of staking
-
This does seem like a decent plan but as some people stated above - it's going to be hard to implement. Plus, if somebody is actually concentrating on playing RS and they find a drop - they deserve it. However, if you're just afk fighting and you get a whip and you miss it - that's your fault.

As a public company - they only have to watch for one thing: profit. Appeal is just a means to help them with more profit. More appeal = more people notice = more people play = profit. It doesn't matter what some people seem to think, Jagex will try to get away with what they can. If we're just going to complain on forums all day and then play anyways - Jagex isn't affect at all. For the few that leave, a whole lot more join (I wouldn't doubt that tons of accounts are created daily by botters who just bot then RWT). Either way, if there's people buying into this service then Jagex is doing well as a company. Plus Jagex claims to be cracking down on bots/RWT/etc as well as multiple glitches in their system - but so far they've never really held up their end of the bargain. I'm not very happy with the way Jagex has been running things but I sure as well won't quit (at least for the time being). So, even though I'm dissatisfied at times - I will continue to pay my 7? dollars a month and play this game and enjoy talking to people. At least that part never really changes eh?

There's a whole separate section for blogs. Check near the top - there's a bar that reads : Tip.It Forums Members .... You can post in the blog section. Just some advice: USE PUNCTUATION, line breaks and always double check your writing (if you're going to blog) Nobody is going to follow a poorly written, jumbled blog and will just spam you with TL;DR

^^ I mean, I can understand the pker just going ape [cabbage] all over the wildy - but there is very little point in killing people without any real value drops. Maybe if we start some forums on the RS page - we can get them to move some of these things (i.e the quests, agility arena, etc) Didn't they say that they weren't going to let quests take place in the wildy?
-
All the melee combat skills + hp can be gotten together. However, it's a little pointless - seeing as the screen doesn't say you got 99/99/99/99 all together but rather one by one. You can also get 99 prayer + some melees if you have a bonecrusher. Other ways: -Stringing jewelery -Supercompost -Woodcutting with an inferno adze but that's risky That's all I can think of for now :/

Fruit trees: protect, supercompost, or both?
LitterBug replied to pgmr185's topic in Help and Advice
Plus if you just put the 10 watermelon into the compost bin, 30 watermelons = 30 supercompost. You'll have enough supercompost for a long time to come. -

LitterBug replied to pgmr185's topic in Help and Advice
Hm, if you decide to go lunar magicks - you can compost for cheaper then it actually costs to buy the compost. Compost does give some exp when you plant it - so it's not terrible. -
Maybe people are high alching them? It's not a terrible item to high alch :/

Yikes, I have no idea why I included that. I did mean dragon defender

^ If you have 15 mil - then sparing some for an Obby cape sounds like a great idea (unless you have the Ardy Cape 3) If you're going to be praying Piety, a good idea might be this: Weapon: Whip Shield: DFS Helm: Slayer Helm Body: Proselyte Legs: Proselyte Boots: Dragon Boots Gloves: "Barrows" Ring: Beserker/Ferocious Cape: Fire Cape (if you can get it again)/If you get the SW cape swap the Proselyte body for a BA body Ideally having a SW cape is better then a firecape. My reasoning: The 12 prayer bonus from the SW cape + the 4 str bonus from the BA assault > Then the 8 prayer bonus from the Proselyte Hauberk + the 4 str bonus from the Fire Cape

I couldn't answer you fully - however, if you were hacked years ago - it probably would've been smarter to get your account back then. You could send an appeal to Jagex stating what happened and maybe that'll work but the chances are low. You never did tell us the ban reason.
