  1. Maybe you're in teams where everybody is like you and save all their tokens for rewards instead of upgrading ring tiers.
  2. Actually, chaotics degrade in combat (i.e per tick of attack or being attacked) The thing is in multicombat situations (like daggs or the likes), you're constantly being attacked so the CR is being degraded every tick. However in non-multicombat, you're just degrading on every tick you attack and every tick you're being attacked. For the questions on cave crawler - if you were truly serious about cannoning, I doubt that using a chaotic would break your bank. It's much smarter to use a CR then a whip, and the additional cost is well justified. (You can even use the tokens to recharge anyhow) I would double check with somebody who has had a lot of experience using crawlers to double check if CM>CR. I'm pretty sure the specifics are probably mentioned in the 200M thread although actually finding the information may require huge efforts of sorting through posts.
  3. How would you solve the turmoil problem? If you discount the first one or two hits, you would then have two monsters with the same stats but different hps to deal with. This might be potentially bad because the overkill data would be a little skewed. Regardless of having ovl/turmoil active - I don't think it would account for ~8% accuracy difference.
  4. Well, if you're training slayer a lot - a good idea is to work on getting your herblore/prayer up. It's fine if you keep a bandos set to use for tasks. However, when you have enough to get to extremes/turmoil (by selling the bandos) you should go ahead and do that. Extreme/Ovl/Turmoil are all better DPS wise then bandos. Not everybody is rich and for those starting out - Torag would be a good idea (although you're probably fine with Verac's - for the prayer bonus) There isn't much that you can tank (when on slayer wise) that wouldn't necessitate using protection prayers. For those that you would need good armor for (that is, pros just won't cut it) - Verac should be fine.
  5. ^^ Grimy's spreadsheets account for the median price of the potion, so you're actually selling all of them back when you're done. @OP, make a decision. Is money a problem or not? Having 70 mil means that money will be a problem
  6. Herblore exp is generally about 13-15 gp/xp (assuming you're not doing thing making pray pots forever and cleaning herbs all day) So if you want 99 herb, you better make some more money. The most useful potions are extreme atk/str/def/magic/range & overload These are ALL untradable but are extremely (lulz) useful on anything PVM in nature. Other then these you would also use: -Prayer Potions -Saradomin Brews -Super Stat Restores But then again, you shouldn't be making any of these really. You can look at this page for more info on herblore. (Done by Grimy) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldEhLOK6ejJdGxma1R3NlNOS1F2UEpMNUY4MU11Rmc#gid=0
  7. Everybody is just trying to give you sound advice. Dungeoneering is a long skill (lvl 120) and you might as well try to do it as fast as possible. Like everybody said, tactician decreases your dps by tons (especially against things like skeletons/hellhounds/etc that you should be crushing and not slashing. Having a tactician ring means that you're only ever on slash (or you could be on crush but without the bonus) It's kind of like setting out to train firemaking. But rather then buying logs to burn then, you're just using an adze and powerdropping the logs. Melee is extremely easy to train, on task you can easily slay up to 100k+ exp/hour. You're barely getting any attack exp when you're training DG so you might as well focus on making your DG experience faster and using the saved time to go train melee (and slayer)
  8. efficiency wise - you'd be burning magic logs + a pyrefiend and probably frost dragon bones at an altar
  9. Concentrated Coal til level 80 then Concentrated Gold.
  10. There has been extensive research on this topic. CLS > Rapier on Graardor
  11. For agility vs rc - it depends If you are either going to do agility or rc (as opposed to effigyscape) then it's more worth it to do agility. The reasoning behind it is: -the time saved would be the same -agility is more click intensive -rc is profitable
  12. If you're going to complain about other people's grammatical mistakes, shouldn't you at least make sure everything you type is grammatically correct and spelled right? #-o
  13. Wow @ New pray pots. Now you can camp gods foreverevereverever. Poor monsters, we're getting all these nice buffs and stuff but they stay the same :( Interested in that new aura that increases prayer. I would like to see some new training (with that aura + bone crusher + demon horns necklace) where you piety forever.
  14. Wierd, blood tiaras are ~10k ish while blood talisman are ~6-7k ish I feel like this is probably just something the GE meds don't really properly represent (or you just found the best new way to level RC).
  15. that takes like 1 and a half hours Not at the rate at which he's leveling. He went from like 61-80 (probably more in a day) He's either really resilient and can DG for ages on accurate mode and still keep going or I feel that something fishy is going on
  16. How did you clear >61 bosses in one day?
  17. I think it depends on how often you gather your resources. I always get my popularity up to 100% every day. And I collect about once a month (if not once every two months). I've always wanted to try this but would anybody like to compare for a week (I'll keep it at 100% popularity every day at 10/5 and you do 9/6 and compare the number of birds nest received)
  18. Does it really matter? You'd spend hours and hours to get the gear. If you were to start Livid Farm from start to finish, I'd doubt you'd get even close to 50k construction exp.
  19. Feeling obliged to point out: WC/Fishing/Mining are terrible money makers. Fishing is only (kind of but not really) decent at extremely high levels and you're fishing rocktails Mining is only (but again not really) decent when you're mining concentrated gold ores WC is worth it never (ever) When you're wasting your BXP weekend banking these meager skills, you're wasting a LOT of skilling time which is a bad idea. If you start now, I'm sure you'll muster up enough to make a good amount by the time bxp starts. Throw in a couple hours of monster hunting (really the best you can do at the moment) and you'll have enough enough money for extremes. The problem isn't that you can't get the money, but rather are you willing to? Are you willing to grind out hours to get to something you want?
  20. Herblore/Construction/Crafting/Smithing These are the most popular one. The biggest impact will probably be herblore (extremes + overloads make life a LOT easier) Getting construction up to 70 would be a great idea (guilded altars whoot) If you manage to get some more playing time in, I would suggest to make money and spend it on BXP material. 2 mil isn't a lot but you can easily make money a lot of different ways. -Farm herbs -MTK -Dailies These don't take more then a few minutes a day and you can easily make 1-2 mil (depending on what you're farming, etc) (I'd get on to do herb runes as much as possible - they only take like 5-6 minutes and yield amazing rewards for their effort.
  21. You can always get a herbicide and make it destroy the crappy herbs so you only pick up the important ones.
  22. I'm just interested in winning the game. It sounds like everybody goes to castle wars now just to fight others though. Is there any real capture the flag type thing going on? Or are people just barraging other people/things of that nature?
  23. Teleport to Trollheim (from the Lunar spell) From the description it would teleport you straight to the patch in which cause you can withdraw, bank at castle wars and restart the process
