Then what's your suggestion? TBH, efficiency is the most fun - there's nothing fun about doing slow skills if you can monster hunt and do them multiple times faster and not have to make prayer potions or clean herbs all day to get cheap exp :(

Kent's guide to Summoning mastery! Bork
LitterBug replied to Inuashakent's topic in Archive of Wisdom
Charms: 10 blue (same), 17 crimson (3 extra), 5 green (1 extra) (the same/extra is from having a row equipped) Like Zaaps1 said, killing the legions is good for charms as well -
Not that allotments are bad or anything, but jesus - the exp the give are horrible (not to mention the time) The beauty of farming is - if you do enough runs with juju's, you should be able to get your strange rocks every week (it takes me at most two days to get them) Gold bracelets are slightly better exp - but that's a pretty great way to get some cheap crafting exp. To be even faster, bring some nats, and a bracelet mound - superheat/smelt your ores and craft them all in one go.

You should be selling your services, A Final Name - HH attractor -
This happened to me as well (two days ago - so it was before the whole server thing) It wouldnt work for like 3-4 tries, so I cleared all my history/cookies/etc and did a master refresh. Worked fine after that

The same way the house wins at casinos/lotteries/etc. It's not really a scam - there are the pitfalls, just some people don't adhere to common sense. Regardless, if the PMod can just say that they were muting people since they were afraid that people might be "scammed" then there's no real action Jagex can take. In fact, that'd be the PMod actually doing his job. The only thing solution that I can see is that Jagex takes a stand on dicing, saying "Yes, it is allowed" (like stated specifically) at which point PMods shouldn't be able to mute anybody for this reason. If it helps, go to the big chat, "find" or try to figure out who the PMod is and take it to him in a pm. Try to get some sort of admissions/etc, and then report the user. I've heard of PMods fired for a whole lot less (and a lot more random reportings)

It would still be a waste to waste your 2.2x multiplier (or whatever it is) if you're going to summon during it. You might as well go for maxed skills, if you don't want to waste money - you can do slayer/thieving/hunter/wc/rc/agility (you get the point) Alternatively, if you feel prayer is more important then summoning, you can start merching and buy dragon bones during BXP weekend. Prayer gets the bonus but it's not as high as the altar - so nobody would be really training prayer during BXP. You could just merch a lot/flip/take advantage and stock pile on resources only to flip it to make enough for turmoil when the updates hit.

I wanted to mention that if you have a cannon and somebody walks by with a summoning familiar, the cannon will target the familiar and you will get skulled. (The cannon obviously won't attack players).
-
This is a senseless argument, how are you going to prove each other right or wrong? \ You simply don't know how Jagex coded their system. If you guys really want to battle it out, save this page/print screen shots/whatever - and wait until somebody actually hits the 5 bil. Or if there's a cap inbetween 3-5 bil, you can figure that out too. And if you want to make that time as short as possible, start donating money to whoever you think will be first.

TBH, granites are so cheap - you might as well just buy them off the G.E. It seems to me that money is a bit of a problem for you. Go to green dragons in the CT - they're easy to kill, give pretty decent gp/hr and they do drop charms pretty often. Obviously green dragons aren't a prolific charm dropper - but they are one of the best gp/hr and you'd be killing two birds with one stone.
-
Most of the secondary items are pretty darn hellish to collect. TBH, you should make sure that you either have enough money/supplies/whatever to use up all of the BXP weekend bonus (so before it gets to 1.1x which is the lowest multiplier). Then you should do a combination of money making/charm hunting for the charms and right before it starts - you can use a calculator to see what you should make. Basically you would use all your gold first, then green, then your crimsons. By using all your [cabbage] charms, you might be able to get to a level where you can get a lot more exp for your crimsons. You're not too far away - so keep your blues for Geyser (or just regular level 79 titans because they're so much cheaper) The slowest part about summoning is the charm collecting by far so here are some decent ways to get charms: -Slayer (most of the tasks give good charm rates - off the top of my head, anything you can access in Kuradel is not bad, although hellhounds tend to drop a bunch of gold and gargoyles don't drop often but they do drop a good amount of blues) -Wfs (you should be looking to do them at AC) -Black Demons (great to cannon in Tav for now because they're pretty bot free and they give effigies) -Cannoning Kalphites - great source of blues -Bursting/Barraging rock lobsters - it's tedious but one of the best charm drop rates in the game (second to Wfs in CT- charm wise I believe)
-
Not necessarily - Bunyips/Fruit Bats hover around 5 gp/xp or so (which isn't necessarily bad - but the pouch only gets you like 150k exp an hour. Making the fruit bat scrolls is slightly MORE profitable but I have no idea about whether its faster or slower) You should generally always use your charms (unless you're at like 99 but even so, gold and blues can make you cash) Anyhow, you should save your blues (do NOT use them unless you're super extremely poor and you have no way to make money - which you should) til either titans at level 79 or geysers at 89 I generally try to aim for a specific level (aka bunyip/war tort/artic bear/etc whatever is the next familiar you'll need and you would actually use) Keep training and training, and check back once in a while to see if you have the charms needed. This really cuts down on your use of crimsons which will help you reach 99 faster.

This. Unlike Octarine said, I find construction rather hellish (took me over 4k oak planks to get my last two - and it's been around that week for the past two weeks) For most tasks, you can just find the rocks by training normally. Thieving is one of the exceptions (court cases are a good way to do it but so is thieving from master farmers) -You barely fail and the seeds are pretty good to turn into MA (some of them end up being like 1 gp for like 18 credit or something). -It's obviously not an idea way to get MA credit but if you really hate MA and you can't be bothered to do more then a few games every day, this method might work. I have a few question about court cases -Is completing them good for anything? (Completionist cape? or something?) -If you thieve from the knight of ardounge - will you get any court case in particular or is it totally random?

This is true lmao Considering you have to craft almost 800k pure essence worth of nats from 91 - 99, you'd make almost 108 M. Except that's not much considering the time you'd have to invest (not to mention sanity)
-
When do you get 600K an hour?
-
From the OP's stats - he can't even get an EEE. If he wanted to - he would have to get to 92 herb (at which point - he should get some overloads w/ brews) Get like 9 or so - enough to last 3 trips (you probably won't need them much) The overloads get rid of the need for super restores, and the spaces saved by this would easily let you bring the dclaw to the task. If the OP is just going to bring an EE, it's probably a waste of space really.
-
I never said to use the claws on the 360s. You shouldn't be damaged at all really anyways (if you're ranging - or even meleeing for that matter) I said to bring the claws specifically for Jad, I've never really needed the very last extra space, and two claw specs on Jad when he's at low health is worth the one brew? you wouldn't be taking. Anyhow, if you're using up all your brew/restores/pray pots - you're probably doing something wrong.
-
Additionally, you can a.) Bring claws + EEE, on the last level (right before jad) you can hide and let your spec attack get to 100% Get Jad down to half health and just spec him for extra damage (or do it after healers stop respawning) b.) Bring ruby (es) - these hit for a [cabbage] ton but you should watch your health. If you ever decide to wait (and start training secondary skills - I can't stress how great overloads are) You can brew easily with them and kill the need for a bunch of super restores.
-
Also, if you start reading up on HH - you should start gathering juju scentless + hunter potions. (It's just easier to do it asap since catching them with a noose takes so long anyhow, bring an artic bear)
-
It's been surprisingly quiet their with bots (used to be like 10 on each world). CT is decent if you have a good combat familiar, and you don't use cannonballs.
-
Well, some quests you'd like to do are: -Back to my roots -Rum Deal -My Arm's Big Adventure -Garden of Tranquility -Fairy Tale I, II, III These raise your farming level/give you access to a new patch/magic secateurs/magic watering clan/no more weed cleaning -Love Story This will give you access to chipped tablets (notably trollheim) -Lunar Diplomacy -Dream Mentor This will give you access to Lunars which is AMAZING for farming I advocate farming because it's a pretty slow skill (you're pretty much stuck waiting an hour or so for herb patches or a day or so for trees) It's very easy and is EXTREMELY profitable (especially with everybody and their mothers stockpiling herbs) -Throne of Miscellania -Royal Trouble You do this for MTK, and you put in money and get raw goods back (which you sell for even more money!) I don't know what you've done or not, but these are a few things to start out with. I also found it helpful to just quest in the beginning (get familiar to places) as well as start to unlock teleportations/other ways of getting around (i.e eagles/slayer ring/etc)
-
What exactly are you having trouble with? If it's the prayer switching - unfortunately, there's not much else you can do but learn and get better at it
-
you mean in multi combat? only if there are monsters nearby (afaik) I also like Korasis cause it has a 100% hit rate which is pretty sweet against high def monsters. I never KBD'ed but it sure beat dragon claw specs at steel dragons
-
Lol, Enaid is 100% right - but all in all, livid farm is just good to unlock. It's nice if you do it asap - so you can use the spells sooner rather then later. It's a little bit of a bore - but you get some decent farm exp (along with tons of other random exp) Also, it said something in the August notes that they would come out with RC robes from GOP that would increase RC exp. It might be worth doing livid and hoping that this comes out before you start RC-ing. It's just a tedious affair and I would absolutely try to make it bareable in any way possibe. (Also stock yourself up on tons of tv shows/movies to watch)

Except it's pretty hard to make money for all your buyables (even just herblore + prayer even) without a.) camping monsters b.) flipping Flipping is easy, if you want - you can stop buy ever hour or so and it doesn't really kill time.
