  1. Prices are going crazy. Try to buy a swamp lizard or wolf bone. They won't buy for over 500 med price.
  2. Trolls everywhere You blocked 3 of the best tasks in the game (black demons - for charms/effigies/slayer xp, Kalphites - for charms/slayer xp, Suqahs - for slayer xp/and what people claim are good effigies) For TzHaar - isn't that the only way you get Jad tasks (these tasks are extremely fast so there's no real reason not to do it) -- For iron/steel - the effigy rate is pretty good but that's about it Nechryals - are pretty slow and drop decent charms but take way too long to be worth it Dust Devil - bad/slow/horrible/?????? 1. Define troll. 2. Dust devils are fast given you have a slayer helm, and good melee. If you're saying lvl 93s with 0/0 defense and only 105 lp is slow, then you need to stop commenting on slayer threads. O:) ? They're extremely slow unless you have a steel titan as a combat familiar but even so, they're bad exp. There are plenty of choices out there and if it seems fast to you then you're doing it wrong. What is this about the dust devils making a lot of money? I don't deny that they're very easy to camp in CT, require next to no food and only a handful of pray pots - but they're still not a good task to do. Profit =/= Good charm/slayer exp. TBH, slaying for profit is a pretty bad idea. 140k in 50 minutes? You can make more then twice that on 5 minute herb runs.
  3. I thought that C2 fishing was only worth it because of the time also saved by completing the dungeon (you would've C1'ed these floors anyhow)

  5. D: Tbh, playing GOP is never efficient. It'll be nice and all to get all these teletabs to train, but you realize that getting the teletab is going to take hours on end. It's like you're trying to figure out the best way to do something in a bad way. At level 77, you can ZMI for much more exp (even if you don't have a full bank, you'll end up getting tons more exp then if you were to play GOP to get tokens to buy teletabs to train RC)
  6. TBH, overloads make him 50x easier If you have 400mil, you might as well gather ingredients and get to 96 herb during BXP I mean the soul wars cape aren't that notable (or even good) and I would personally wait two weeks Sometimes if you're using brews then super restoring, you might die (depending on how much he hits and he's known to get incredibly lucky) I bought dhide my first time and I died pretty quickly I bought Karils + a dragonfire shield and I won (pretty easily) I think mostly, I was just lagging during my dhide and it's not such good defense But you can try it now a few times. He's really not that hard - each try is only a couple of minutes and if you die, your gravestone is right there. Note that in the event you are carrying degradable armor and you die, SAVE your degradable armor.
  7. ??? Pretty sure the tab takes you into the altar
  8. I noticed that a lot of your skills were kind of low. BXP is best for expensive buyables (the more expensive the better it is) Unless you plan on exclusively training dungeoneering for a while - you should work on your total. Also, being a keyer - your floors will be faster if you can open most of the doors yourself (rather then "gt - 95 herblore" or what not) I would suggest you go for herblore/construction first (as well as a fruit/normal tree run in the first 10 minutes or so) TBH, RC isn't that slow - and you probably don't want to do it until later on in the weekend. You need a full bank to make ZMI efficient, and then taking out all the items when you're done seems a bit wasteful. A 1.1 boost is great for RC and you won't waste precious time doing things. Anyhow for ZMI - some suggestions are: -Unlock Lunar Magics -Unlock Ardy Cape (I don't know which one you can unlock so far so double check that) -Unlock the repair pouch in the Lunar Magic book (trust me, this makes RCing a LOT less painful) -Grab one of the abyssal thingy summoning familiar - they can hold 7 essence (which can cause some controversy as it takes longer to bank) -DEFINATELY, DEFINATELY - go try it out a few times. If you're wasting run super super fast, you might try to do the oolong pool every so often I doubt anybody has the information on run energy for zmi (but as always reduce your weight) so the efficiency of this probably has to be determined by you ALSO, I don't even know if ZMI is the most efficient for you (based on your level) Although it probably is - it's in your best interest to double check and make sure steam runes are not slower then ZMI.
  9. So is it worth it ever to buy those castle war armor? The ones that give a % boost of damage? It sounds like the best one might be useful but doesn't really have high bonuses and the battle mage/whatever sets are at least as good as the 2nd to worst ones. Should I just be running around in barrows/switch to pernix when I can?
  10. Are there any permanent groups for castle wars? Maybe a clan that plays together or what not? I'm getting really excited about this :P @Quyneax, do you have to have the helm in order to get the bonus effect? For now, I think I'm going to go battle mage gear (or something along those lines) I'll save up for virtus and then work on that as well. Has this game still retained the capture the flag type idea? It seems that it's all about combat now :P
  11. I wouldn't really be there for the kills (although, I would attack the enemy if they're carrying the flag) I haven't really tried it yet but I read a couple of summaries of the event (which probably isn't the best thing to do) TBH, I'd want to win more the game more then anything :P I could always carry barrows for defense + bandos/castle wars armor for attacking.
  12. For games like Soul Wars/Castle Wars, do you have to wait til the beginning of every game or can you just hop on whenever?
  13. Hey guys, I was interested in starting to play Castle Wars. I wanted to know what kind of armor to bring. Since I haven't started yet, I'll bring barrows (since you can't bring a helm/cape yeah?) However after that, should I be looking into purchasing the armor sets that will give you a % of extra damage to the enemy? ^If I should be getting these sets, which set is better then barrows? Also, what are good ways to train in Castle Wars? Should I be meleeing/maging/ranging?
  14. Technically, you're saving the same amount of time. I.e, during the first 2.7x multiplier (the first half hour), you will always save 1.7x30 minutes of skilling time. This is why people choose to do buyable skills because you're paying a lot less then you would normally (of course, this is assuming the prices aren't so ridiculous that you're spending a lot more gp/xp then you normally would) However, saving some rc time may be better then saving some firemaking time (if you consider rc a lot more boring) In my opinion, I'd probably do fm over rc (if that's my only two skills left to train). This is because fm is a lot more intensive and you have to pay attention and get your pyrelord to light logs. Whereas rc is just running to the altar, teleporting banking and etc.
  15. I mean if you really want to stay and camp - you might as well do mutated jadinko babys. As far as I know, that's the only thing that drops notable herbs. If you want, you can always bring a herbicide and go camp at abby spectres or chaos monks and keep only the expensive herbs but that would require banking. Tbh, neither of these ways are efficient - you might as well camp green dragons and back the hide/bones and buy herbs Or just go farming
  16. TBH, you've pretty much have all the resources to improve. You even recorded your own videos. If you're the keyer - you're basically supposed to facilitate people running paths and going futher So, is your team idling? (If so, why?) Is the GT either in a useful place or being carried along a useful path? Are people moving around? If not then assign them paths. Just go back over all your posts and write down whats important
  17. There's no real other alternative to training hunter. Unless you want to stick with red salamanders or whatever for like 70k exp an hour
  18. Note that due to the bxp weekend, not all prices are easily gathered. A lot of these prices are based on the GE median which may not accurately represent the going price for some of these goods.
  19. That's uncalled for. Anyhow, what exactly are you having problems with? You ask for advice on DGing a lot and tbh, you're getting a lot of the same replies over and over. So what I suggest is start making a checklist, and do your floors. After one floor is better - go over your checklist (you can even record it to double check) and not what you did and did not do Keep doing this and you'll begin to progress. Don't worry so much about deaths - go ahead and learn how to DG first and not worry about the exp. Battle mechanics are a lot more simple to learn and you can learn them outside of DGing.
  20. You can pick the locksafe in the thieving den. It gives either gold or an uncut gem (no dragonstones I believe)
  21. For me, I do a mix of draconic and commons. I find that a HUGE proportion of all my seed comes from my common jadinkos. It's probably best just to hunt something along with commons so you can reap the benefits of the seeds. However, you're only two levels away from Draconic Jadinkos (in which case you can hunt both commons + draconics at the same time) If I were you, I would forgo some of my other training (i.e hunting for herb seeds to make jujus) and just prepare. Make sure that you have the full set of camoflague. Work on getting a sizable amount of juju hunter/scentless potions. Then when you hit 80, you'll be ready to go. EDIT: I suggest getting the construction levels needed to make all the habitats if you haven't gotten the camoflague set yet. If you have, you can just ask somebody to change the habitat to whatever you need (I'm sure that most people already there won't really mind) Remember to use your artic bear when hunting (I remember starting draconics at 80 and they barely caught at all)
  22. You could get the Jack of All Trades Aura although you probably would have to save up for it. It does look really interesting though.
  23. You then get a cryptic message about the location http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Familiarisation ^Use that to figure out where it is Then basically just keep collecting shards once you get to the place. Remember to check your map then go in one direction around the edges and then you can check the ponds and stuff
  24. Why get onyx (i)? Seers ring (i) is better
