55m bank. What should I do and what will I need?
Hey Hedgehog, nice to be back. :) I'm 150k xp from 99 magic so I'll definately be doing a little bit of glacors. (It's funny, i think I saw 1 guy there yesterday in 2 trips, It used to have 4+ every world) I also did a little bit of zammy with low level friends to check it out, got a hilt, lol. And yeah i did notice that he meleed my friend occasionally despite me tanking, now I know how to avoid it! (I was tanking in void and pretty much didn't touch my food because of SS flicks. Will probably attempt a solo with uni.) Recently bought bcp tassets and the whisper ammy, so I may borrow claws and try my hand at bandos crashing like old times. Any other significant gear changes by the way? I had a quick look on "max bonus x armour" to see the whisper ammy and not much else. Any rough idea on profit/kill for the gwd bosses? I notice the zammy garbs are very good, as is the melee necklace, but bandos new items seem pretty garbage in terms of practicallity.

Charms for 88-96 Summoning
Kill waterfeinds in the chaos tunnels. Do not make granite lobsters all the way to 96, make the highest level one you can make at all times and be sure to use your other charms, too.

Why PC Gaming Sucks
PC gaming has far, far better communities. It obviously depends on the game, though. If you play MW3, runescape and maplestory, yeah, you're going to meet a lot of idiots. (You're also going to meet a lot of cool people that have poor taste in games) PC gaming has so much potential that is ruined by consoles. Consoles are where the money is at, so most blockbuster games are created with consoles in mind, leading to a buggy port. It should be the other way around, but primarily because of price and usability, consoles are always going to bring PC gaming down. PC gaming has player modifications, this is to do with the huge freedom you get as a PC gamer, and links in with the awesome communities. Sadly, some of these are used for multiplayer cheating, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons when you get such fun game changing mods such as the ones for just cause 2 and half life. A gaming computer can also be used for many other things including home entertainment and work, which brings down the investment a little as you need a computer for these anyway. Indie games are amazing and most of them are only for the PC, not only this but some games ONLY work on the PC. (Can you imagine Dwarf Fortress for ps3?) Steam is awesome and saves you $100s, further narrowing the cost different between console and PC. (Obligatory mention of the possibility to pirate.) Some of your arguments are valid, you can't have the best of both worlds, but PC gaming definitely has huge advantages over consoles.

Allow profanity.
Always found it a bit silly. At least it's not 07 runescape's filter though. That one was *****y re***ulous. I can understand blocking the words used for bigotry but the F word for example is harmless and actually useful in this day and age. ...Testing, 1 2 [bleep]ing 3, testing.

So, hows merchanting right about now?
I think we're kinda exaggerating the number of merchers. It's increased for sure, but it doesn't stop you from doing small margin flips (Which you would do anyway, and avoids long term merchers as they buy much lower and sell much higher) The real limitation is usually the 6 ge slots for me.

So, hows merchanting right about now?
It's exactly the same. Dunno when it was introduced but there are limits to how many items you can buy (Typically 25k/4hours common resources, 100/4hours normal armour/weapons, 10/4hours rarer armour/weapons) The economy is kinda screwy but flipping is the same as it always has been, people need stuff and people need to get rid of stuff. Be the middleman. :)

pre-beta PVP is over already.
I thought I'd get my fix before the new combat update comes into place, because regardless of how well they make it (errr, we'll see.) I'm going to miss old runescape. What am i talking about though, the combat hasn't changed at all yet... No, it hasn't, but thanks to the beta, every high risk wildy world (I dunno about others i haven't done much but pk lately) has an absolutely horrible connection, constant lag spikes and even disconnections, on a 16 ping connection. You can still pk but most deaths will be due to lagging out and most kills will be from your opponent lagging out, which isn't very fun when you're not interested in the GP. I wish they'd just allow one of the high risk wilderness worlds to not be worse than most private servers for a couple months, it's not much to ask.

Dropping efficiency on 1 skill for money making
Banking rocktails with the auras is over 100k/hour xp, so that's good. (The cash/hour isn't magnificent but the cash/time lost over alternative method is one of the highest.) If you're not bossing then i assume banking gold ores would also be worth it, again, poor cash/hour but quite good cash/time lost over not banking. Heard it works out best unless you make like 2m/hour, don't quote me on that though. Also mine redstone daily, of course. Slayer is typically terrible cash so don't expect much from that. Block the bad xp tasks but obviously keep the money makers like dragons. Looking at your skills, you will not make the money for comp cape just by training the remaining skills in an efficient way. You're gonna have to do some additional frosties or whatever else you can do with your poor internet connection.

Godswords & Chaotics
Yeah i can see it being less useful for min-max training but a lot more useful for bossing and pvp, i mean if it's general DPS has increased significantly it may be a good weapon to just use as a normal weapon ignoring the effect (Well, staying as low as possible without taking risks) and then using the defensive bonuses to make this even better. Also with the nerfed protection and increased damage, doesn't this just make Soulsplit the best for literally everything?
-
Godswords & Chaotics
I'm thinking the LP change in combination with the 2h abilities (Especially the massive damage in 1 hit ones, but not forgetting the "take no damage" ones for optimal safe dharoking) could make it amazing. I didn't sign up to the beta because i was kinda relying on runeshark and the sort for this type of information.

Godswords & Chaotics
How does Dharoks fare in the beta? (vine)Whip is also slash, and currently has a much DPS than godswords, in normal rs at least.

To liquidate, or not?
I've personally been investing my bank into near alch price useful items. Best case scenario, they multiply in price and i get rich. Worst case scenario, i lose very little. Ok worst worst case scenario, jagex remove alching from the game and I'm screwed, but that's not gonna happen... Right? ...Right? Oh god. Edit: I do believe that nex gear will remain overpowered, in fact possibly even more so if gano/none melee armour gets a much deserved nerf.

99 Prayer, how did you achieve it?
Yeah, i meant to class that into the "if you find it more enjoyable/it has useful side effects" Generally speaking though, if yakless frosts are your primary source of money, it's NEVER going to be the absolute best option to use frost dragon bones for training prayer. He could even do the same amount of frosts and still sell the bones, do a little more altar, but use the additional money to fund overloads or another 99.
-
99 Prayer, how did you achieve it?
I made the money from bandos solo/duos and bought dragon bones to use on my gilded alter. A friend of mine did frost dragons and used the bones himself because he's a DIYer, i do not recommend doing this, if you use frost dragons for cash (nothing wrong with that) make sure you sell the bones and use the cash to buy regular dragon bones as you will save so much time from combat only to spend a few hours longer at the altar. Garbage maths incoming: Experience rates used with an approximation of 1300 bones being used an hour, easily accomplished by using a medium level BoB. Prices based on current market GE prices. D bones are roughly 327k/hour experience for 4210k/hour cost. (39.7 hours from 1-99) 167m Frost bones are roughly 819k/hour experience for 19173k/hour cost. (15.8 hours from 1-99) 302m 23.9 hours saved for 135m, that puts your time at 5648k/hour, something very few people without turmoil can make :P This is probably quite inaccurate but i think you get the idea, if you make less than 5m/hour like most people, avoid frost dragon bones. (Unless you're close and enjoy the money maker and hate using the altar, so would rather spend more time but have more fun, which is understandable)

Is it worth praying on wfs?
Depends how much you value your ability to AFK, claws will increase the total charms/hour for sure but it's by such an insignificant amount that i don't personally find it worthwhile. If you're actively trying to "play" runescape and find higher APM better then go for it, but i kinda zone out when doing waterfiends :P
-
Is it worth praying on wfs?
I personally just soulsplit flick to heal, and if it gets a little hairy (Due to me afking) I'll flick between protect range and soulsplit to comfortably get close to max health again. I also use EEE because no other special is worth using. Always always use turmoil/piety on any thing you ever kill. Prayer restoration is cheap and compact in terms of inventory waste, theres no excuse not to use it. Edit: This is with iron titan in chaos tunnels. If you don't have titan just use a unicorn for healing and you shouldn't need to soulsplit.

How come I'm getting away with selling vesta spears for 5m ea?
It probably was in anticipation for a combat rework, although that will probably die down now that jagex have announced duel wielding. (Buys 20 stat warhammers)

First chaotic
Getting to 88 DG with level 0 rings. I HEARD SMART PEOPLE DO THIS. You can easily get a tier 8 ring and 2 chaotics at 88, i assumed that was kinda implied. (Especially since you get the second chaotic at 87 w/o ring)
-
First chaotic
For the maul to have the same raw DPS as rapier it would have to have a max hit of 1.5x the rapier's. This means you would be hitting 900+ maul for the rapiers 600+, a nightmare for PvP. Maul VS Rapier is already very balanced, maul being much more accurate making it better for high defense enemies but significantly worse raw DPS making rapier best for lower defense creatures. I'm pretty sure jagex are talking more about Dragon scimmy VS Dragon longsword VS Dragon 2h etc, where scimmy is better for literally any situation. Only chaotic that needs some work is the CLS which is currently total garbage, perhaps the rumored stab/slash/crush being much more important will give CLS a use, even without changing it's stats. (Although it has to compete with vine whip + dharoks whereas rapier and maul have no serious alternatives)

Money Making Help
Powerbanking iron ore at the resource dungeon is great f2p money and gives good mining experience. (Practically the best you can get in F2P) This does require finding an empty world though, which will probably be difficult with all the f2p bots. (Idk how fast the bots are, it might be easy to just steal the ores from them when you get a higher level)

Profit at corp?
The profit per corp kill is roughly 450k based off sigil predictions (div/ely 1/2000, arc/spec 1/1000) and normal loots. Now you just need to work out the optimal kill speed to supply cost to share of loot. It may be surprising but the best is actually 3-4 man with sharks and extremes as primary food, with a lot of banking. The brews and overloads, while still profitable, are just not worth the cost. Be warned that the sigil rates are only estimations so they might be way off.

Are there any tie FoG fcs left?
Oh. Hiding and running are the opposite of what you want for farming FoG. I assumed you meant good for OP as in super fast deaths and kills. In terms of farming i don't understand the hiders. If everyone just went into the middle, tried to kill as fast as possible while the opponent survives as long as possible, you'd get SO much more tokens and wins for gloves. I've had 3 minute games where my opponent hides in corners, for me to tank in the middle for a minute and win by miles, just think we could have had 2 full games in that time. I guess some of them do it because they enjoy trolling others, or they genuinely enjoy the hide and seek aspect and don't care about points... But the majority seem to just be ignorant of how BAD it is for THEM to hide and waste BOTH of our time. It's partially understandable from low levels that can't get wins in any other way, but it's almost always 130+ doing the hiding when i play.

Drop rate change for Chaos Druids?
Yeah i wanted to train my pure there and realized this too. Oh well, it's not like herbs are worth a dime now days anyway.
