about 3-4 years ago it snowed really heavily (more than 3 feet... i was short, it was almost as tall as i was). Really light snow, though. Really fun to go through Later on it snowed really heavily again, a lil more than 2 feet i think, then it rained right afterwards, then snowed again. My whole city/area was covered in ice for about a month The backfields to my middle school (i was in middle school at the time) were completely frozen in ice. I walked home every day, and i cut through the back. There was a river when spring came and melted it all #-o

I saw it last week; if you haven't seen any of the others nothing makes sense 10 minutes before the movie ended i figured everything out, not because it was obvious, but because it made sense. i was like OH [cabbage] and it all came together The saw films remind me of silence of the lambs. anyone else agree? I've yet to meet anyone who has watched the Saws and Silence of the lambs...

Your reasoning automatically does not work due to the fact that sara brews are one of the cheapest high level potions in the game. 2.5k each? I never had trouble finding sellers, though i've had problems finding buyers. In other words, nests and toadflax both have to be in high supply for the price to be so low

They also had signups; they chose from those who signed up as well as those who preordered. Those who preordered were guaranteed eventually a code The beta ended today. 5 days until release

Ok its not a virus problem, kaspersky, NOD32, and zonealarm say no Ad-aware says its not a spyware problem I've actually already done the task manager remove-everything-you-can and used runescape as my point of reference; it was laggy after i took out everything i could At this point I'm going to try over the weekend what someone else on this thread said; i have an old (but still good) 200gb harddrive that i'll reinstall windows with But i also think it might be my computer fan; it might be too weak since i usually leave my comp on 24/7 I'll check on the weekend...
-
I sometimes run aim; however it does not run at startup, and i've exited out to see if it was the source of the problem, which it is not I know how it works; Its that the 90% is available and the other 10% is used on windows task manager all the while 0% is used on running whatever program im running thats taking 8 minutes to load
-
And its new. HP Pavilion a1710n, AMD 64 duual 2.2ghz processor, 1gb ram, windows xp sp 2. Its about two and a half weeks old now. And it loads forever Take for example an hour ago. I start up my computer, go on firefox, load a site, and firefox crashes for some reason. I ctrl-alt-del for task manager, and end task it. On my older (7yr old computer) it'd close really fast. Instead, i end task it and come back to it twenty minutes later to the same screen, firefox still not closed. I end task again, come back 10 min later. Same result. I pull out the plug Or a few minutes ago. I run msconfig, it took ~8 minutes for it to start up. Between the time i started up and the time it finished, i couldn't do anything because it was busy loading (the whole 8 minutes i could hear my computer loading). Runescape, too, was extremely laggy, even though there were no other programs running. I have tried to fix the problem myself. Spyware, no. Viruses, no. My sister got from her friend uniblue's SpeedUpMyPc and lent it to me a short while ago. Just like msconfig, it takes about 8 minutes to start up. And it does not help. I look up every process running when its slow and they're all normal. But something i noticed is that, when its loading a LOT, task manager tells me that system idle process takes up, still, 90% of cpu. Why does my computer allot the 90% whenever i need it for something else? At this point im totally clueless. Sometimes my computer starts up without recognizing that my mouse or keyboard are both associated with logitech and so the extra buttons/back buttons on my keyboard/mouse do not work and i am forced to restart my computer as a result Heres a hijackthis log (loading it, too, took forever) [hide]Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 9:39:46 PM, on 10/22/2007 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180) Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\services[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\vsmon[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\Explorer[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\System32\WLTRYSVC[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\avsys\ScanningProcess[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\avsys\ScanningProcess[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\System32\bcmwltry[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007\aawservice[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscntfy[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\WLTRAY[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zlclient[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\jusched[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Share-to-Web\hpgs2wnd[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\RUNDLL32[Caution: Executable File] c:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Share-to-Web\hpgs2wnf[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\MailFrontier\mantispm[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox[Caution: Executable File] C:\Documents and Settings\Stanley\Desktop\HijackThis[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools\daemon[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Uniblue\SpeedUpMyPC\SpeedUpMyPC[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPoint\SetPoint[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\khalshared\KHALMNPR[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPoint\LULnchr[Caution: Executable File] R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.windowsxlive.net/ R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download ... fault.html O2 - BHO: Adobe PDF Reader Link Helper - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll O2 - BHO: SSVHelper Class - {761497BB-D6F0-462C-B6EB-D4DAF1D92D43} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\ssv.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [u.S. I'm not too good with comps, but isn't a 64-bit processor bad unless you specifically want one? Anyways, i'd go for a pc unless you're heading to college soon. In which case, get a laptop. Or get a pc, leave it for siblings, and get a laptop when you head out As for the vista debate, try it out first. If its no good, get a recovery CD with XP and reformat+install XP on the comp you have
