Why are you so afraid of revenants?
stan18 replied to Artificial_Doom_Flavor's topic in General Discussion
They're more of a threat on f2p than p2p, but they are a pain on p2p, no doubt. Less dangerous than pkers since they can't call and they can't run, but i dont like getting tb'd, frozen, and poisoned on my way to mage bank from ardy -

Poor writing skills + poor argument = poor topic You contradict yourself in saying this thread is educated. Which it is not. Your arguments are exaggerations and emphasize too much the economy that did NOT revolve around PKing -
I agree with everything 100% except your last two - about pures. They made perfect sense - creating a character that emphasized combat, for, well, combat purposes. Emphasizing that a pure has different stats/equal level than/with one with a highest combat stat of 45 is comparing skill pures to combat pures - no one pk's with a skill pure, and no one skills with a combat pure. Your point is like saying its not fair to train for basketball when you're tall, because golf players are shorter than you are. drop trading - its done with more than just pures. in fact... purchase of power training supplies - pures do not purchase botted goods, they only require food (no one trains with sharks) and pots (which are also not botted). Skill pures, however, use most botted goods. fighting over resources - the only one you mention is easily killed monsters. In fact, i think thats the only one you can mention. Regular characters/skill pures take oh so much more. Abusive/childish behavior - So why is this associated with pures? Why lurers at DK's, or half-killers in karamja dungeon? Why not at trees? Why not when fishing? Etc... I understand your dislike of pking, however it is unfair to associate all the negatives to them while the source is not limited to the wilderness

oh my god use periods and commas and complete sentences please, i beg you. I've reread every sentence you've posted thats more than 8 words long because they don't make sense Ok. At gwd most drops are valued at ~20k. A 140m hilt drop equates to 7000 drops. Once you start adding more people, you get problems. Once you start adding new people, you have problems. You are over simplifying it. You emphasize over time but do not understand the magnitude of it. Hohto explained it very well. p.s. your faq is not actually a faq, nor is it accurate. at all. p.s.s. you assume your partners do not care about your drops. You made a big mistake there, considering how drops were distributed BEFORE lootshare. And if thats the case anyways, you have a [cabbage]ty team, go find another p.s.s.s. your motto doesn't make sense -

It is not a scam. there are sites that do not require costs if done right, however it is often hard to find people willing to go through the trouble -

Yes most work but no, referral links are NOT allowed on tip.it -
Thanks for the post. I actually got a new router and still got the problem, so i figured it might be some program connecting to the internet, so i reinstalled zonealarm. Turns out, i couldn't reinstall it becase the Truevector service WASN'T removed when i took it off last time. So i tried removing it, and couldn't. Along the way, though, i disabled it, and since then i haven't had the problem So the problem stemmed from zonealarm not completely uninstalling :-s

My wireless network contains two computers: the home computer, attached to the router by cable, and my computer, through a wireless card. The router is a belkin 54g, my wireless card is a U.S. Robotics MAXg pci card. My computer is upstairs, the router is downstairs. Problems: 1. I will randomly disconnect. My signal is usually low-good but the distance isn't that far, and my computer still detects the router. I have to go downstairs and press the reset button, where it will start up again 2. My internet just stops working. But i know it is working i.e. i am on firefox, i load a site and instead of loading i get a "looking for____" on the bottom. But i know i am connected, since my aim still works, and i can connect to runescape. It doesn't go away until i restart my computer. When i access my router page, it will say only 2 computers are connected: the home and mine. The home computer does not do any internet-heavy stuff, and NEVER disconnects when i do such as in #1. Zonealarm says not a lot is connecting on mine, either. here is a hijackthis log if it helps: [hide]Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 10:43:30 PM, on 12/1/2007 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180) Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\services[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\vsmon[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\System32\WLTRYSVC[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\System32\bcmwltry[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007\aawservice[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv[Caution: Executable File] c:\program files\common files\logishrd\lvmvfm\LVPrcSrv[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscntfy[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\Explorer[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\WLTRAY[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\jusched[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Share-to-Web\hpgs2wnd[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\RUNDLL32[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Common Files\LogiShrd\LComMgr\Communications_Helper[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Logitech\QuickCam10\QuickCam10[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPoint\SetPoint[Caution: Executable File] c:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Share-to-Web\hpgs2wnf[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\KhalShared\KHALMNPR[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Common Files\LogiShrd\LComMgr\LVComSX[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logishrd\LQCVFX\COCIManager[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\wuauclt[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox[Caution: Executable File] C:\WINDOWS\system32\wpabaln[Caution: Executable File] C:\Program Files\AIM\aim[Caution: Executable File] C:\Documents and Settings\Stanley\Desktop\HijackThis[Caution: Executable File] R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.windowsxlive.net/ O2 - BHO: Adobe PDF Reader Link Helper - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll O2 - BHO: SSVHelper Class - {761497BB-D6F0-462C-B6EB-D4DAF1D92D43} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\ssv.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [u.S. Jagex - Launching two new games next years.
stan18 replied to kieranread's topic in General Discussion
very interesting, although the new guy doesn't sound like he has everything down yet first of all, runescape is not advertised on miniclip its a redirect. and theirs no big banners, so its like they are affiliates. and 2ndly, they dont i have never seen a runescape commercial or pop up ad any where. i remember a LONG time ago, when i started, i found out about runescape through a popup ad on a small scale site i visited before. Like, right after santa hats old. boy have times changed... -
what are you using these for?
