Well, this is certainly going to turn into a deep and insightful debate.

 

Maybe if you don't want people to flame you shouldn't post such idiotic things in the first place. Fair play if you don't like them, but you'll struggle to find people on TIF who really care if you do or not.

There aren't many rock bands with a female lead singer... so when one comes along, even if they're not that good, they tend to receive a lot of attention.

 

 

 

Hayley Williams is defiantely a cool rock chick and as she matures I'm sure she'll develop a larger following. For now, I agree her music and image aren't legendary or anything, but like all new comers, that'll change.

 

 

 

I actually quite like her hit Misery Business, but CrushCrushCrush is a bit crappy.

 

 

 

Personally, I haven't been interested in angry rock chicks since No Doubt split.

Nah, my best friend only listens to Lil' Wayne and Paramore, and as I HATE Lil' Wayne, I put up with Paramore.

I mean, I prefer artists like Cascada, Evanescence, Within Temptation... but Paramore's pretty good too :o.

No, because they're popular primarily because they are female-fronted. Look at Lacuna Coil, for example.

To be honest, I prefer bands such as Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd, but I still respect other people's taste in music.

 

 

 

Just because you don't like them, doesn't automatically make them 'suck' or whatnot.

 

 

 

We all have our opinions, you have yours. Keep it to yourself. The world doesn't care if you don't like 'Paramore'..

i agree 100%. check out the band BLOODSHOTEYE their vocalist is a chick, and man is she good

Paramore, are good, other bands like The Distillers, Porcelain and The Tramps, Evanescence, the Veronicas, the ones with female lead singers are great too.

 

The Veronicas - Forever is a great song.

If you DON'T like the band, DON'T listen to them. DON'T come here to whine about how much you HATE them. EXPECT to get flamed by fans. Plain and simple. You COULD just ignore the fact that they exist, but YOU feel the need to come here and whine. There's artists I'm not a big fan of but you don't see threads about all of them, right?

I don't like them, but just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's bad. Everyone has their own taste/preference when it comes to music.
