  1. Oh I don't live in New Hampshire. I live in Massachusetts but thats the best beach to go to. It's like a 30-40min drive for me.
  2. (yes, im actually going to say this). It's all because of capitalism. (and I just know somebody is going to respond by syaing that otherwise, noboyd could afford these things. there, I said it for you, so don;t bother) My god don't you understand that capitalism works. Communism, and socialism don't work, thats why so few countries have these governments. Sure it looks good on paper that everybody is equal but then you have nothing to gain if you do your job better than others. How did Bill Gates shut down these stores? I thought Compusa closed stores to save some money.
  3. Some people had to buy 2 and 3 ps2's because they kept breaking out of warranty. That does not mean 96million unique people prefer the console. Look at the current generation fanboy. The PS3 is in last :P . Don't worry you will grow out of liking Sony like I did  . The Wii might come close to reaching ps2 sales in 5 years. They can't even keep them on the store shelves and it was released in November.
  4. Or they know what to do and give you 5 $1 bills
  5. I know where their preforming :) . Their at Hampton Beach, NH tonight. I was up there to go to the beach for the day and I saw tons of people going into the concert.
  6. You would be surprised what technology can do. You still don't get it do you? Yes there are many benefits but also many bad things that could happen. The cons with them outweigh the pros. Any hacker could potentialy gain access to the database and get all the information they need to use credit cards, identity theft, ect. Don't say that the government can make it so secure that nobody can hack it because if it was made by a human, it can be broken into by a human. Hackers have gained access to many government documents and it will not stop now, especially if you could gain a lot of money from it.
  7. and yet we eat/drink them anyway. So just think about what you're saying there for a moment. And what negatives are there to these? they would contain information the government probably already knows, I don;t see any potential for abuse unless there are some things about these i havent been told. There are negatives to almost everything, but these chips can be avoided unlike other things. So you think the government already knows what we are saying and doing at all times without these chips? I highly doubt it.
  8. I hope your joking. Do you really believe what the government does is always the right thing? Do you think their actions are good for the people all the time? I think the chips should only be used to track lost children or for identity purposes such as to get into government buildings and such. To track people they should only be able to do it with a court order or by parental permission if their child is lost.

Why? GIMP is a awesome program that many people would recommend. If you want to run gimp you need those other files.
  10. blade995 replied to TheWilch's topic in Tech and Computers
You need to install that also. It should have said that on the website. http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html
  11. blade995 replied to TheWilch's topic in Tech and Computers
You can try the program paint.net. Get from here Or if you want something with a little more features you can try GIMP. Download here P.s. The onscreen keyboard does not protect from most keyloggers anymore. They can pick up what you type with it.
  12. Ehh BMI index can be flawed. It doesn't work for people with muscles because muscle weighs more than fat. I'm not saying America does not have some fat people, because we do. Another thing I don't understand is why people are so fat, it's not that hard to lose weight.
  13. *Shakes his head and sighs* You just dont get it do you..... Never mind then i give up....come on people its not the complex... bye... Did you even read the link and the guides he posted before you said he didn't get what you were talking about?
  14. That would be my suggestion too. Ram is the second best way to increase game performance, graphics card being the first.
  15. Overclock it yourself. Just a warning it's much harder to overclock the graphics card on Vista. If you have XP your fine. Use Rivatuner for Nvidia and ATI Tray Tools or ATItool for ATI cards. Consider the x1950XT I suggested and the 7900GS Nadril suggested because they are both faster than the 8600gts.
  16. Well if your not interested in dx10 you can get a x1950XT 256MB graphics card for $180 (before a $30 rebate). I recently purchased this graphics card and it's a beast. It can run all my games on high detail with good fps at 1280x1024. Although with the resolution your looking to play on, the lack of 512MBs of memory could slow things down, but all the other sub $200 cards will have the same amount. The only downside is a dual slot cooler which could be a problem with a small case. Although I consider it a plus because the air is exhausted directly out of the case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102067
  17. Yes, you need a Microsoft wireless adapter. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp ... 3578008655 There's no picture but I'm sure thats what you would need, my cousin has one, but he doesn't know how to use it yet  EDIT: Newegg has one with a picture. here
  18. What about Windows Movie Maker? Drag both clips into the timeline and export it to your desired file type.
  19. Most of the time you can not just boot from your old windows Xp install with completely different hardware. You probably will need to reinstall windows XP. If you need stuff off of that hard drive you will need to plug it into another computer as a slave and get everything onto a dvd/cd/flash drive or whatever to transfer to your new computer.
  20. Good luck finding a whitebox laptop from a major retailer. Although you can get a Linux computer from Dell now. Ya, you won't find one with no OS. Where does Dell have linux? I looked all over, and all i could find was XP and Vista. (I did get distracted and built a $26,000 comp.) =P~ I still say reformat it when you get it. :-w http://www.dell.com/content/topics/segt ... l=en&s=dhs The laptops with Windows are surprisingly not much cheaper than the ones with Vista. Which proves most of the trial software will cover the cost of the operating system.

  22. Awesome! :D Massachusetts is cool.
  23. The first link you posted is for a n64 emulator for the psp. So if you have a psp you can play n64 games on that too. Works good, I have used it before. Although if you couldn't figure out how to run a program that was in a .zip file I doubt you will know how on a psp.
  24. Clearly you don't know the rules of test copying. 1. Only let your friends copy your paper. 2. never use the same exact words as the original. (applies to the idiot) 3. If your friend copies off your paper you have the right to copy of his another time. Not that I have ever done this :-w .
  25. What you downloaded was the rom of the game. Assuming you own the original game, it's legal so we can talk about this here. You need a program to play the rom file called an emulator. Google is your friend, there are many of them out there.
