Strength bonuses add a percentage to your strength. If your strength is 1, no matter what weapons or jewlery you wear to add strengnth bonus, you will never hit over 1. Try it with the max hit calculator on tip.it. I put in abbysal whip and stregnth amulet (bonus = 92 str) and the max hit was still 1.

Yeah I died for the very first time yesterday in world 99. Seems like all this organization does is attract PKers. I've never even come close to dying before. Never using that world again. :roll:

Sorry to ask this if someone has asked it before me. But is there a possibilty that after the quest we can now cut our own wood to planks? This would be a little challenging and time consuming, but for some, this would make the construction skill obtainable.. totally free of charge! Nope, sorry. And by the way you don't cut the artic pine into planks. You just split them in half.

To be frank, not all of us give a rats [wagon] about the PVP element of the game. Anyway, I think it was a great update. Now we have a helm that can act as both a berserker helm and a prosolyte helm; which will come in handy at metal dragons. Also the fool costume looks nice. And the boss was kind of hard for me. I suggest you do NOT use melee prayer. If you do, he will knock you back 20 feet every time you try to melee him. I suggest you use ranged prayer up close to him. I don't think he will use the ice spell if you're near him. In this situation all you need to worry about is his melee attack; so eat when needed.

They said after the whole 3rd party client fiasco that they would have it out as soon as possible. That means that after that point they started working on it. Updates don't take weeks they take months; updates that you see in the behind the scenes they have been working on for months or perhaps even years. This is a pretty complicated thing to do, so I imagine we won't be seeing it until around the midpoint of the year; hopefully sooner, we can wish, but it will probally be a while.

You're sort of right on theiving, but you're wrong on agility and slayer. If you have the money, you can use a cannon for slayer which speeds it up significntlly and for agility you can use super energy potions to do the course with run on 100% of the time.

Blog cleaned and ready for my new goal, 99 fletching. I have 10k yew logs and strings and have already commenced fletching them.

You might love them now; they might seem fun to mess with and all; but once you really get into the skill of RuneCrafting and using the abyss, you'll like them a lot less. I personally am almost level 78 RCing, and I find them to be a waste of my time. I'm all about profit, you see; I use super energies and everything. The only protective measures I take are dragonhide and a one click teleport. When they force me to use that teleport, and waste probally 2-3 minutes of my time to have to bank my stuff, get out my dds and teach them a lesson, it makes me mad.

Yeah even with 99 attack I feel weak. I still hit lots of zeros vs barrows armor... it's so frustrating... And also right after I got 99 attack I went to duel arena, some 126 challenged me to a fun... he k0d me in two dds specials through my barrows armor. OUCH.

I honestly can't see why I would wear a shirt from a fansite of a game that the bulk of the general public considers stupid. I like RuneScape, and I love the tip.it community, but most people don't. And to those people, I'd look like a complete geek.

I think it's overrated, sure, but It's still like the second hardest quest in the game; aside from MEPII (OMG THAT QUEST WAS ANNOYING!!!). It's like the only quest I've ever died on (though I lost little). And ancients are definatly not overrated. IMO they're really overpowered. Ice rush is nothing. But burst; that can wreak havoc. And barrage is like the spell of death. 20 seconds + up to 30 damage? That's a charged god spell, and a more powerful entangle all in one, plus it's multi-target.

Zammy for the attack bonus. This was way before defenders were released, mind you. I think it was even before obsidian shields... but anyway, when obby shields came out I used those, and when defenders came out I used those. The only one I use anymore is my sara book for defense while RCing.

Mage has teleport block, bind spells, ancients, and all kinds of other stuff with which to throw at their opponent. And all their spells are ranged based. So there is a reason why meleers have specs, and mages do not. I can't imagine what a mage 'spec' would be like... super ice barrage? :shock: Although I agree with you that rangers need more specs. Though their attacks are ranged based like the mage, they have very weak armor. They need somthing besides pure speed to make up for that loss.

Wow great tip, I'm definatly going to use this. Taking two seconds to bank, spec, and bank is worth it I think. And anyway you can take it out in the process of filling your pouches. Withdraw excalibur, withdraw all pure essence, click x, click excalibur then on three smaller pouches, then spec, click your pickaxe again, bank, put it away, get out more ess, fill up giant pouch, get more ess, then go. Not really that much more than what I was already doing.

Got 98 yesterday; will probally have 99 by the end of the weekend :wink:

The first quest sounds like it has a lot of running around and taking items from point A to B, talking to x NPC then moving onto the next part. Great, we sure love those don't we? :roll: I just hope the reward is worthwhile, like mabye somthing to improve output in MTK, or mabye some new resources (mabye a MTK rune essence mine :pray:). If the blood alter really is coming this month... I'm one of the 4200ish people ready for it; I have 77. (there are more 85 slayer than that). I doubt with that few blood crafters prices will drop that fast; so I'll be having a heyday making as much money as I can from it (if indeed it comes). I predict that after inflation of bloods they will drop to around 400-450. Which is still better than nats.

Oh sure, but how hard is that? It's on the frontpage. I really doubt that they actually read the suggestions forum on tip.it. Which is kind of sad, because the quality of our suggestions are usually a lot better than the load of crap you see on the suggestions forum in the RSOF (like "OMG I WANT DRAGON PL8"); and we have neat pictures too :wink:

If Jagex did that I'd have 126 in a fortnight... And I like all the new team stuff, and hope Jagex puts more in. Back in RSC the only cooperative thing was the KBD, and of course the two quests. Everything else was lone adventurer, training and quests, and the only thing I needed others for was to trade to get supplies. Now Training combat fast is all about teamwork (e.g., pest control).
