Highest Rank Player without a 99 skill?
Peronix replied to Mordendravid's topic in General Discussion
Theoretically it would be possible. After all, zzzamorak managed around 50 slayer at combat level 3 by using recoils, so I definatly think it would be possible given all combat skills 1-98 to do it. Althought I think it would be pretty hard... -
Well, I don't know if this is a glitch or what, but I got some mage xp there by casting charge; don't know if you can still do that... anyway, it does seem like less and less people are willing to play the game. It seems that after everyone has gotten their warrior plates or whatever else it is they wanted from it they now have no reason to go back to it. This is unfortunate for me; because I am nowhere near to getting my plate. (BTW, if you want to get a team together to get the plate, gloves, or whatever else, PM me here or ingame; I need to get it... just don't bring any team-members that are iffy, e.g. that might quit on us early).

Regardless of wheather or not it is true; I doubt it will affect my Rcing that much. It just means I'll have to eat a monkfish more every now and then.

People call other people safers for the same reason they call them telenoobs, prayer noobs, def noobs (lol...), and any other kind of 'noob' you can think of. Because they want your items. Sorry to dissapoint you, but I'm going to do everything in my power to prevent a loss from being incurred on me, just like any other time when I'm playing RuneScape. If you're not good enough to kill someone before they teleport, PK in deeper wilderness, or get your magic to 85. If you don't like someone praying melee on you; pray melee on them right back. If you don't like fighting people who safe; then don't

Like 6 years old. Of course like an idiot I said 'this game is dumb' then came back a year later when all the tradable holiday drops were gone  (and because of that fact I've never owned a rare).

*~* Costume Contest *~* [Winners Announced]
Peronix replied to icecube's topic in General Discussion
Yeah... I will have a better oufit next time. I kind of find it unfair though that you weren't allowed to enter again; and in the meantime while this was going on some really cool looking new treasure trails things were released and the new applicants that entered with those items managed to look much better than the previous applicants. TBH if I could I would have entered again with a much better one incorporating those new items. -
If the blood altar is coming soon, I'm pretty excited. I'll be making tons of money from it when it comes. And I doubt the prices will drop that much that quickly. According to the highscores, I'm one of the only 4417 people with the level to craft them (77). There are more 85 slayers than that (like a few thousand more?)

29 January 2007 - What's black and white and goes green...
Peronix replied to TheEvilGizm0's topic in General Discussion
I haven't gotten on yet, but from the KB it looks like the agility course is as pointless as the last two. Now we have FOUR courses that give around 560-580 xp per lap  ... why is Jagex so reluctant to make a course for higher levels that gives more xp? WHY? -
Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog. Here I post my past achievements, current goals, and my daily progress on these goals; and of course pictures of levels when I get them. This one is a little different from the last one, because I'm keeping more focused on one goal at a time this time around instead of multiple goals. Hopefully this way I'll have a better time achieving my goals and an easier time keeping up with this blog. Anyway, enjoy ...and don't just read, POST! Goals achieved on this blog 99 Attack Here are my current stats: (No I'm not a girl. Draynor just dosen't have m/f versions of all capes; but I still want a stat sig appropriate for my goal) ~Goal: 99 Fletching~ Why do I want this? Simple. Another easy 99. It's not hard to do, so why not go for it? Levels Pictures: I'm continuing this goal at level 91 fletching; I have no new pictures as of yet. Daily Log: Will update at the end of today. Past Achievements before this blog (in chronological order; most recent first): Fire Cape 99 Cooking 4000 Chompies

I'd say that once you have completed all the quests, have a set of full rune, and are adept in the skills enough to where only a memership could extend your experience of those skills; is when F2P becomes obsolete. And really, when you look at the skill levels for which you can do the highest 'thing', you don't need very high levels. For example: woodcutting in f2p stops at 60 instead of 75, magic stops at 59 instead of like 95, crafting stops at 70 instead of 90, cooking at 55 instead of 95, fishing at 50... you get the point. The only two skills that are almost completely F2P and go to a very high level are mining and smithing; but really, those two aren't very fun.

Yeah, ebay nubs just got pwned. No more NFS all over my pics. I think this pretty much means that real world item traders in RS pretty much have nowhere to turn to sell their stuff now. Companies like IGE won't buy/sell RuneScape stuff because of the rule against it. I'm hopeful that this will cut back significantly on autoers.

~Fury's and glories, and buyers oh my!~
Peronix replied to woodcutter12's topic in General Discussion
Glory simply because I can't afford a fury at the moment. It's on my list of things to do down the line. First on that list is 99 attack (10.1m xp), then 99 fletching, THEN fury, zerker, and d chain + legs. If I had a fury, I'd use it whenever I was training combat skills or playing combat minigames; and glory while skilling. Glory has teles, and that is more useful for skilling than the extra +12 defense, +2 str, and whatever the extra prayer is. -
My computer is fine, as was the connection at the time. Everyone in that world was complaining of lag.
-
Well I was PCing with Heart Unit, experiencing some really nastly lag, then right as the game finishes up... I get caught in like 15-20 seconds of lag, then I come out of it and find myself still in the game, portals dead (though it dosen't read that way). After about a minute running around like a headless chicken it auto-logs me. Anyone else experience this? Here's the pic I got

Monsters in the abyss would one hit kill you (at level 3) It's probally like in the mid 60s and 115+

Will Runescape extend Up down or through Islands?
Peronix replied to Doughnut's topic in General Discussion
Yeah I'd personally like to see a quest or two come out of Tzhaar. Seeing as how the citizens there are all pretty high leveled, it would probally take a real challenge for them to actually need your help; so mabye we will see a high level quest or two come out of this place? -
My father gave me a visa gift card, and I used it for RS membership. So yeah it does work. When the card ran dry, Jagex sent me a few messages notifying me that they tried the card and it didn't work (this was with a subscription).
-
Hmm... methinks I will be going there after I get my 99 attack (95 atm) and resume my 99 fletching (91 atm). Sounds like a very nice place. And thank you a million, because I now know a good place to sell my nats I rc without having to post a thread :D Now they need a world where people buy/sell food in the rogues den. That would have helped me get 99 cooking faster if I didn't have to leave my training spot to get my supplies. And I REALLY love the idea of working trade worlds/locations around where people train the most. World 2 is very hard to get into, but if they had seperate worlds for different things, it would be a lot more organized and orderly. And less laggy.
-
The items you mentioned are just really rare. If you really want an example of a huge difference in pries with the same supply; look at d skirts and d legs. They are just as rare a drop as one another. Yet the difference in price is 1.4-1.6m, purely because there are more guys than girls, and guys would rahter not wear a skirt. Those items vs their lower price counterparts though are just in much lower supply. Glorys are everywhere. There are tens of thousands of people getting half key drops everyday, bringing in countless glorys. But how many people sell ~30k chaos to the store for enough tokul for an onyx gem every day? Considerably fewer. Rune axes can simply be gotten as a drop from tree spirits, and they are player made. But dragon axe forces you to brave three level 303 monsters to get it and... and archer helms are buyable in a store, vs. the robin, which is a VERY lucky drop; even rarer now that jagex has released a couple new batches ot treasure items.

Exactly, since your name can not be exactly copied. You can have Zezima1 Zezima2 or even Zezima3 and they'll all be unique, in the sense that no one else can have the same name. Yes, technically they're all unique; but the only unique part of 'zezima1' is the 1... so it's not completely original.
-
Yes. Completely. I thought of it 9 years ago... now there is some car part named after me appartantly, but I'm 100% sure I'm the first one to think of it. When I googled it all those years ago, I got no results.

Only thing anyone has ever done for me is smith me full steel when I was a noob. And because of that fact, I haven't been too inclined to do kind things for people since i have worked for virtually everything I have; no luck in drops, either :( (I would say that monster drops have contributed a negligable sum to my networth; mabye 1% or less of it)
-
I was thinking the same thing. :) Sorry to burst your bubbles, but pest control 'tickets' aren't items. BTW I chance my mind. I want 1mil RFD antique lamps. That works out to 20 billion xp. After I used all those I would be rank 1 in all skills for quite some time  (and would probally be rank 1 overall like forever. zezy dosen't even have 1 bil xp :P)

Which slayer master do you go to usually for tasks? I usually use Zaranis. How long does each task set usually take to do? Usually half an hour to an hour. But I do iron dragon tasks; and those take a couple of hours usually (I burthope bonzes and steels though). What do you do or use to complete your tasks? Usual setup is the mask and rune plate and legs (t plate and v skirt on monsters lvl 100+), whip, defender, rune boots, barrows gloves, fire cape, glory, and RoL. In inventory is guthans, nats, fire staff, games necklace, 3-4 monkfish, 3 super attack pots, dramen staff, and anything the task requires. When fighting magic based monsters rune is replaced with karils, when fighting monsters that need a headpiece I leave guthans in bank and use BtP where possible; though if there are guthanable monsters nearby I bring guthans; although I use BtP > guthans when a headpiece is required, and the monster drops bones. And of course I use slayer items in place of my other items where nescicary. What is the best drop you've gotten from your slayers tasks? Hmm... half key? Lol. Black mask is best from a slayer monster, but wasn't during a task.
