There is no point in buying prayer for that weekend though and the Gilder Altar is still a better option, but the multiplier doesn't apply to that. With the exception of prayer pretty much every skill is going to become more expensive for a period as people mass buy for skilling or merchanting. Good job JagEx =D>

As much as I think the idea is ridiculous and their reasonings for it even more so, I'll take advantage of it to get a load of Summoning and Farming xp. It does make it sound like the new skill is going to be time consuming and that the higher levels you have in skills the easier it will be for you to train it. Darkdude pretty much says my thoughts, I hope they don't do it again :-?

I am reluctant to believe this as with the exception of your website and here there is no mention of it anywhere and if this glitch really existed JagEx would take the servers offline until they fixed it. Though if this is real then surely any item could be duplicated so it wouldn't be limited to this one item that you will not name? Also there is no such thing as a "fairly common high value" item or else it wouldn't be high value now would it? :wink: Sorry but it sounds more like merchanting tactics like Joe said.

All you need to do it put on mage protect and run. They don't spawn right away, you have a few seconds to put distance between you and them.

If it's anything less than being able to be assigned them with 99 Slayer I will be disappointed in JagEx. They finally gave Slayer some new high level content which has been long overdue and the flood gates open because it's too difficult for some people. At the end of the day this was supposed to be a high level update, for high level and skilled players yet some people seem to have got into the mindset that everything should be handed to them on a silver platter. Not all content is for everyone, if you can't kill Jad then you can't kill Jad it isn't like Kuradal assigns Ice Strykewyrms if you don't have the Fire Cape. If you really want to be able to kill Ice Wyrms that bad then you'll find some way of getting the cape, don't make your problems JagEx's problem. I really hope whatever compromise they make is of equal difficulty to getting the Fire Cape, but without the need of good internet connection just to get rid of that excuse for not fighting Jad. :pray:

LBS and Zamorak Spear (with Super Anti-Fires) are good against Steel and Mithril Dragons. They are also good against Iron Dragons, however if you have a good enough attack then a whip will do the job well there. Really the whip is the best weapon for Slayer because of its strength, accuracy and the ability to wield a shield for the extra strength/defence bonus.

It's world 84, and it couldn't hurt to wear armour just in case you get attacked though I think it's quite unlikely. Hope this helps :^_^:

Influx of them from the new Slayer creatures. Jungle Strykewyrms drop them often and I'm not sure about the others but I think that would probably be the reason for it :smile:

Nope, you can't boost for any of the levels for Nomad's Requiem. Hunter is pretty quick to level so it's not so bad :smile:

Personally I would get the mask because it really does make a difference and the chances are you will melee more tasks than you cannon. Shouldn't take too long from Slayer to get the money to afford a cannon either :^_^:
