You can request anything you like, whether you'll get anything is up to the admins :P I can only ever remember one non-staff member getting their name changed, but I can't remember who it was. I think it had something to do with party hats and one of the names was in ALL CAPS. But yeah, I've seen plenty of staff members go from ks_jeppe to Ks_Jeppe and such like, then of course there's castlecaster but granted his rank was "The great tomato" for some time before the change.

I've tried both, but find skiing to be far more enjoyable. Boarding is really hard to start and you spend ages and ages sitting on your bum in the snow.

Solved: Graphics card was loose. Howdy folks. I haven't been around for a while, but I'm still alive and kicking, although the target of said kicks may soon be my graphics card. Seems the little bugger's throwing a tantrum and doesn't want to do what it's told. Games that use Direct3D don't work (have sound but no video, mainly black screens, freezing, textures completely buggered and so on and so forth.) Have restarted pc (duh,) got latest driver, disabled and fiddled with hardware accelleration, scanned for viruses etc. to no avail. The dxdiag direct3D test shows the box but not the symbol that's supposed to be on the box. The results are the same for Direct3D 7, 8, & 9. On windows XP that'll be C:\Documents and settings\%YOURWINDOWSXPACCOUNT\Application data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\8dgtrndm.YOURNAME\ If you can't find application data, go to tools -> folder options -> view -> show hidden files and folders. Then paste (ctrl+v) the files you have copied and choose to replace existing files. --- That what you wanted to know?
