I thought BXP weekend was supposed to end at 00:00 Tuesday GMT?

Outside of my little skirt with WoW, Runescape is the only real MMO I play. Otherwise, my online gameplay is limited to XBL, Civ IV (soon to be V) and SC2.

If I'm after dungeoneering experience, I would much rather go to world 117, take 2 minutes to find a team and spend an hour on a large, than I would go to world 77, waste 30 minutes trying o find a team just to do a large in 40 minutes. Basically, the net effect is that I would do a large every 62 minutes on 117 while I would do a large every 70 minutes on world 77. Why wouldn't I go the faster route? And let me tell you something about 77. I hate it. People there somehow have this mistaken belief that if you don't have a hood, you don't know how to dung. I've had people rage quit before because members of their team don't have a hood. And funnily enough, this was on an occult floor where basically every room has either a mage, a book, a necromancer, a shade or a ghost. I'm like, "Yeah, whatever. See ya' later bud!".

Gone from 74 - 89 herb. I think I'm done now, even though I still have about 3k pots left to make.

Thus far, I've used maybe half of my herbs and have gone from 74 - 86 herb. I seem to have miscalculated the speed at which I could make pots, which sucks because it looks like I'll have enough pots for about 90'ish when I figured about 87 off the top of my head. I don't know what I was thinking, and should have gone ahead and bought a ton of avantoes to turn into extreme attack pots (I have about 1.4k super attacks sitting in my bank right now). Bah!

Wasn't gonna' do herb, but I figured I might as well with the number of herbs/seconds I had sitting my bank. So after a bit of farming/mole hunting/collecting seconds, I think I'm ready for BXP weekend. Hopefully I get to about 87 - 88.

Runecraft until xp meter goes down to 1.1. Then I'll use up my blue and red charms. Then go back to RC, as I need 77. (Does anyone know if ZMI altar gets x2 bonus?)

The bugs and glitches section is incomplete, as there have been hundreds of bugs and glitches over RS2's time (I know, I know). -When RS2 came out, there was a glitch when stringing bows only gave half their experience. I know, because I fletched then and only got to about 84'ish when I should have had high 80's. -The day specials were released, there was a bug where you could one hit any NPC using the MSB special. -There was a range bug in which arrows didn't disappear, which meant that you were pretty much set with 20 rune arrows, so long as you retrieved them before someone else stole them. -There was a bug in which if you wielded rune javs while having arrows equipped, you would always hit your max with javs. I could probably think of more, but can't think straight atm. Pretty big deal if you happened to be affected by them (either adversely or in a positive way).

Well, I suppose I will be runecrafting the entire weekend, save the end when I will just use my charms.

I just hope he maintained a healthy life outside of Runescape while going for 120. That's my thread contribution.

It wouldn't make sense for it to only boost range accuracy, considering all the other range prayers increase damage. That would make it totally useless. ...And on another note, has any J-Mod confirmed there being an increase in accuracy on the chaotic x-bow? Because as nice as it sounds, I want to pass it off as rumor.

Oh, now I need to get x-bow. Guess I'll be dungeoneering for a while now, as that's two items to get.

So the longer someone can last at an area, the more acceptable it is to crash them? Huh? Yes, I can. 1.) Crashing means faster kills for the crasher until the crashed leaves and no kills for the crashed (In fact, fewer kills then they were getting prior). Hmmm... Where's that guy who was going on about zero-sum games? 2.) You're somehow assuming that being crashed makes people want to train their stats. It doesn't. It makes them annoyed. I'd like to call it wishful thinking. After all, it's a lot easier to ignore someone's counter argument when they label you a troll. Ironically enough, the only people who have mentioned anything about "deserving" or "owning" spots are the people trying to rationalize crashing. No one else. What I find funny is that the actual argument-- that one player should not impede upon the gameplay of another player-- is lost upon those who are crashing. It's even more humorous because even after pointing out why something like, say, scamming could be rationalized under the exact same basis that the people here are rationalizing crashing ("It's efficient!" or "It's fun!"), said people still don't seem to get it and repeat the exact same arguments over and over and over again. You see, I can sum up the reason why people crash in three words-- because they can. There's no other reason. Everything beyond that fact is an ad hoc justification. And the fact that someone is negatively affected by crashing? Well, those people be damned. It's all about you. So tell me, do you think that if crashing ceased to exist tomorrow that the price of, say, a BCP would raise as a result? That's great for Wal-Mart. What's that got to do with anything I typed out?
