they're not exactly ruined... the loss of speed makes up for the excessive strength and accuracy. do you see anyone pking in d baxe? nope.

I was upset when jagex ruined the d baxe and long. Back in classic, all weapons had the same speed, so obviously people preferred the stronger weapons. The baxe was the strongest, followed by the long, which had better accuracy but less power. However, we live in the present, so Id say my favorite dragon weapon is the dagger, mainly because I always have one on me.

hehe, no kidding! What made it even more heart-wrenching for me was when, after 3+ hours of hack, hack, hacking, I finally get one and dig it up. Then, for some stupid reason while examining it, I misclicked and ended up eating it! -DOH! Took another 5-6 hours to get another... and you can bet I was super careful with that one. :) 4 or 5 days of non stop tuber searching. Nothing at all.
