Using software with the intention of cheating inside the Runescape game is against the rules.

Do NOT use any modes above 100 with an LCD monitor. It WILL lose a considerable amount of lifetime. If the manual says 60, run it at 60. Normally the operating system should prevent you from using options that your monitor does not support, but it seems that didn't work in this case.

There's no need for a 10k rpm HDD, but I would prefer having one rather than spending tons on a slightly faster processor. You'll get faster loading times for various tasks, including boot.

Excluding president of the United Earth and similar titles, I wouldn't mind working as a prosecutor. I used to want to be a lawyer, until I realized that trying to get the crooks imprisoned would be a lot more fun than trying to help them. Besides, since we don't have a Jury-system there's less talk and more facts involved, which means most of the fun of being a lawyer is gone.

How do you define difficulty of learning languages? Amount of grammar rules and exceptions? Well, for example English only has "the" in front of nouns. Swedish has "Det" and "Den". German has "Der", "Das", "Die". Obviously many languages have even more. Exceptions to rules aren't that bad, what is bad is when the basic rules are numerous and difficult to remember. In my opinion as a non-native English speaker, this is not the case with English. I really fail to see why English would be any harder than the other ~3000 languages out there. Sure, for those who do not speak another indoeuropean language it is going to be difficult to learn it. The same could be said for any other language and family of languages. Also, for the record, unprounced letters exist in most languages.
-
Learning any new language that you don't hear regularly is bound to be very difficult. Being my idiotic self I've actually signed up for my 4th and 5th language for next term at school :| Short courses though. But that's beside the point... Not learning anything for the first weeks/months usually isn't really true, odds are you've picked up quite a few words and can communicate with some basic sentences. Simply give it time. It's a another language, it's had thousands of years to evolve into what it is. You can't expect to learn it quickly ;) You didn't make it easy for you when you picked a language with a different set of letters, but keep trying and I'm sure you'll one day wake up and realize you actually can speak some Arabic.

can your Mhz or Ghz be upgraded on ur comp?
Pyro replied to Ixl_Jj_Ixl's topic in Tech and Computers
There are processors up to 3.8 GHZ that use 800MHZ FSB. I fail to see how that is relevant. His socket will limits his upgrading options, his Front Side Bus will not. -
Looks good, can't find anything to complain about :P
-
Neither, won't have the cash for it for another month or two depending on how much I can prevent myself from spending :)

As PhrstBrn has already explained, they are different amounts of the same unit. Hence they are identical, and thus Zonda is correct. Hertz can be used to measure other things than clock speed however, such as FSB. That does not change the fact that "Ghz" and "Mhz" refer to the same unit. I recomend you do *your* research, and here's a link to get you started: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hertz -
Sounds awesome. I was thinking of going to Sweden Rock Festival this year, but some other stuff got in the way. I did see Lordi perform a month ago or so though, and yeah, they are indeed weird :P

Apparently there was not enough evidence to support the claim that he was guilty, and hence he was freed. I don't see this as a problem, no matter what my personal thoughts on the matter might be. For all I know everything I know on the case could be information provided by extremely biased sources, so I'd rather let the court decide what's true and what's not. Then there's my "slightly" negative opinion on the jury system, but that's a topic for another day :P

Switch motherboard, get one with PCI-E to make upgrading in the future easier. This should not affect prices much at all. Indeed, get a slightly slower processor and a slightly faster GFX. A Geforce 6800GT or Radeon x800XL would be a better idea than the 6600GT. Oh, and get a SATA harddrive instead.
-
3800+ Processor? 2 gigs of RAM? Sure, but why the low-end GFX? The standard X800 is not a very fast card, and if you intend to use it for gaming you should get a better card (Such as X800XL, X800XT or maybe even an X850XT). And a (P)ATA-100 drive? Go S-ATA instead. Normally I hate giving suggestions to increase the price, but you've already hit your maximum budget, go with a 3500+ and 1 gig RAM instead. With the above upgrades the performance will be better than from the original setup, assuming you use it for games. The S-ATA drive should be there no matter what though.

Have you tried the Noise Removal filter in Audacity? Simply select the entire clip and use Filter > Noise Removal. It won't be perfect, but experiment and I'm sure you'll be able to filter most of it out.

Oh, you meant links to the stores, my bad :P http://www.komplett.se http://www.webhallen.se Unless you speak Swedish odds are you won't understand much though :P
-
That is technically impossible, and not to mention more than a bit silly. Gullible isn't in the dictionary.
-
If I wasn't alive, how would I be able to make a bid for global power over this world? :P

Locked.

It's both single and multiplayer. Personally I found it to be rather dull. I can hardly see the difference between this and the original.
-
I'm assembling it myself, since it is indeed a lot cheaper. I'm sticking to Swedish stores though, since that way it's easier to get components fixed if something is broken.

opening a mobile program safley on my computer

http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/cabir.shtml This is what it would do. -
Huh? Installing a router? A router is a network component that should not require specific drivers except those used by the network card.

*me agrees* But the only thing i would say is wait for the new GeForce 512mb graphics card. I think Matt'll have a go at me and call me a GeForce fan-boy, but i'm already saving for the thing. Exactly how much are you willing to spend on this computer, too? And nice processor. I was considering getting it, but my budget was too tight, if yours isn't, i'd go for another 1Gb of DDR, Kingston is reliable. Then you will be the 'bogs dollocks'. Next generation GFX? Possibly, because I will be buying the box after summer. I haven't kept up with the release dates on the next-gen cards though. As for the extra RAM, I don't have a use for it. If I decide to spend more money on it, I'll be getting better RAM, not more :P Lol, well, i love spening as much as possible on computers, if i have money it'll be spent on a peripheral or a component for my computer. =P But yeah, and like Shadow asked, how much does it all come to? Ape8191. Somewhere between 1k and 1.2k dollars I believe, though the prices will most likely be a bit lower by the time I make the purchase.
