  1. [hide] the most truth i've seen in this forum in a long time. the only part of this topic i haven't seen discussed yet is the part that bothers me the most. what do you plan on doing about relationships? unless you already have a guy who knows what you're doing and is ok with that, you're going to have a hell of a time finding a guy who wouldn't be totally disgusted with the thought that his girl used to be a guy. if that makes any sense. plus, you wouldnt be able to have kids? you may not care now but it's something you'll be thinking about when you're older, i promise. [/hide] How many people in the world know what they are doing? -.- very few. which even further emphasizes our point that the younger you are, the less able you are to properly make life changing decisions.... :?
  2. what average american doesn't have the internet?

  4. it doesn't really matter because he's too liberal to make the republican party nominate him, but if he does happen to win the primaries, he will be our next president by a landslide. and iraq will just collapse in on itself and be wiped from the earth. :boohoo:
  5. come on, seriously? how many people said "if Bush gets elected for a second time, I'll personally assassinate him" ? how many times has he been assassinated? for that matter, how many assassination attempts have there been? i highly doubt anyone has enough balls to do that, because the majority of people who hate him are pacifist hippies and rebellious teenagers who think its the "cool thing to do" i don't even know why it's still a discussion, because the primaries are already half over and neither one has even attempted to enter the race.
  6. What's funny is that all of you say you will vote for me, but I pretty much just summed up the goals of the Republican Party :P. Almost all of my points are conservative in nature :D. not surprising, considering i tend to vote conservative already... :anxious:
  7. not bad, except for this.... while the american dollar is sinking lower than it has in years, lets deal the death blow to it. no thanks. other than that, i'd probably vote for you. =D> if i were a politician, i would play along with everything until i got in a sufficient position of power, then, with the militia i've built underground, i'd overthrow the current government and install a fascist regime similar to the nazi party but without all the mass genocides.
  8. 1. they werent hunting moose. they were upland bird hunting(from the little information i have, i'm pretty sure that's what they were doing.) 2. i think you overstate the severity of the accident. his face didn't get "blown off," just peppered with the small pellets of a shotgun(still not the most pleasant feeling in the world) 3. it's not the first time someone's accidentally shot a friend while bird(or rabbit) hunting. these forms of hunting are unique in that you need a few people to walk in a line and "flush" birds out(usually with the help of dogs). when a bird or rabbit emerges, they're usually in a pretty big hurry, so you have to act fast to shoot them. sometimes, in the confusion, it's easy to forget exactly where your buddies are standing. that's why i don't prefer this type of hunting. 4. don't get me wrong, i'm not defending mr cheney at all, i wasn't there, so i couldn't possibly tell you exactly what happened, but the circumstances lend themselves to an accident. i'm simply giving you my knowledge of hunting so you can make a more educated decision.(media idiots always try to make these things out to be more than they are, especially when it involves a person in power). 5. as for the impeachment, i could really care less either way, i mean, we're having an election in a year, what good would it do to impeach the guy now? plus i really have my doubts as to if it would even pass a simple majority vote, much less a 2/3 vote.
  9. well if you talk anything like you type, i can totally understand why they won't let you do anything. :? other than that, the only thing i can say is: they own you until you're 18. unless they physically abuse or neglect you, there's nothing you can do about it except for talk to them and try to reason with them. i would suggest learning proper grammar before trying that.
  10. i had the same problem in high school, and it only got worse the first year of college. finally my parents broke down and confronted me about it, they thought the same thing, that i was trying to hide something. i explained to them that i just don't like talking all that much. not just to them, but to anyone. my phone conversations are usually less than a minute long with friends. i say what needs to be said and then hang up. after that, they started backing off, but somehow after that meeting, talking to them just got easier, so they asked less questions and i gave more thorough answers. plus i've matured a lot since then, and i can relate to thier experiences more and more each day. having an open mind helps a lot, but you still have to think for yourself. too many people have too much of an open mind and let others influence thier decision too much. you have to find your own happy medium. good luck.
  11. i just don't understand how harassment and abuse can be protected under free speech. don't men get sued and lose jobs over sexual harassment cases where they did nothing other than verbally harass a female co-worker? why isn't that protected under free speech then? how many soldiers died for what they use as shelter to continue harassing others? disgraceful.
  12. my deer rifle, a remington 760 pump action 30-06. great fun. :D
  13. it's about [bleep]ing time. those douchebags are lucky that no one close to me in the military has died yet. those idiots show up at a member of my family's funeral, for any reason, and not one of those bastards is going to leave alive. good luck picketing funerals when they're dead. free speech my [wagon]. that's the biggest load of bull i've ever heard in my life. they're the ones going to hell, not the soldiers.
  14. the suspension isn't what they're worried about. it's the 'dangerous weapon' on her behavior record. when she goes to get a job and they see she was suspended from school for bringing a dangerous weapon they're going to think twice about hiring her. that's why she is trying to get it changed to a tobacco violation.
  15. i understand what you mean. i've never been in a gun fight either, and i hope i never will be. but if you were put in a situation(by a criminal) where it was your life or thiers, wouldn't you do anything in your power to keep your own life?
  16. the way i understand the laws(at least in my state) are that concealed weapons are allowed in your car, or on your person as long as you have a permit, except in any building with a sign saying "no concealed weapons"(virtually every establisment in the state). recently there have been increasing numbers of criminals posing as police officers to commit crimes so i'll use that scenario. say you get stopped by a person who claims to be an undercover cop and asks you to get in his car. you ask him for identification and he refuses, and starts to get violent(by law, police are required to identify themselves upon request, also, it's illegal for an undercover cop to pull someone over on the road). he gets angry and maybe starts threatening you or even gets out his own weapon, now all you do is pull your handgun out of the glovebox. if you don't think this scenario is very likely, then maybe one of the thousands of people who actually HAVE defended themselves with a handgun can tell you thier story.
  17. if the engine runs, it's definitely worth 50 bucks. if not, it might be worth $50 in scrap.
  18. i don't get it? because he doesn't like hilary clinton? i can't imagine why anyone would. tbh none of the current crop of democratic candidates would get my vote. EDIT: nvm, i get it now. still a stupid reason.
  19. lol that would be an interesting shotgun. :-k i don't see what's the big deal here, they were in her car which was presumably locked(if it wasn't, i missed that somewhere), it's not like she brought them into class with her. at my highschool, several of my friends, myself included, would bring high powered rifles in thier cars, and proceed to go deer hunting after school. nobody ever got in trouble for that. i've also personally brought shotgun shells to school and even on an airplane(on accident of course). no disciplinary action was taken in either case(i don't think anyone noticed though).
  20. i know several people who own ak-47s (or other automatic rifles for that matter) and arent serial killers. in fact, several of those people don't even hunt. all they do is collect and sport shoot. how is that bad? i found a really good website with a lot of information pertinent to this subject. if you're interested, check it out. Gun Control Facts.
  21. better than starting a completely new topic. how many topics on global warming do we have now? anyway, i believe animals have rights. they have the right to be eaten by humans. they have the right to test drugs for humans. they have the right to be kept captive by humans(pets). they have the right to be used for any purpose humans so desire. until the animals themselves can somehow stop us from doing these things, they will continue to happen, whether you like it or not.
  22. how many topics on global warming do we really need :?:
  23. f2p started at the bottom of the hill.
  24. do you really think that the first time a nuclear weapon was used that anyone had any idea of the massive amounts of fall-out that would be left behind? no, thats why they were tested in deserted areas where nothing lived anyway, i mean im sure they had some guesses, but nobody knew for sure that the bomb would be destructive for years after it was detonated. i doubt hitler would have had a clue. and if he was aware of the destructive power of a nuclear weapon, i'm sure he would have used it on his enemies in a heartbeat. someone like that obviously has no moral issues with it. and who should be allowed to have nukes? if you can figure out how to make them, go ahead and make them, but don't expect to use them and live to see how it turns out. WW2 came as a shock to everyone. now, if anyone even suggests that they might be willing to use a weapon of mass destruction, people go ape[cabbage]. but nobody has the balls to actually end the world.
  25. oh... well in that case. you totally changed my opinion with your mind-blowing post. everything is clear now. -.-
