The Resurrection of Agility
Before I begin, please leave if you are here for pretty pictures or candid videos. I stink at both. That said, I have thought of something (likely previously suggested) that just seems like such an EASY way to make Agility an appetizing skill again. Why not let us run faster? With the outset of Summoning (Terrorbirds) and Ooglog (pool), the benefits that coincide with simple endurance are no longer appetizing. Shortcuts through Runescape are nice benefits to agility, but there's always another way around. Unless you wish to visit all the GWD bosses, there is not much incentive to really level up. What about if you could run FASTER? It shouldn't be too difficult; I can't fathom that it's any harder to program than the complete graphical overhaul we saw last year. Why not change sprint speeds, to either punish those with low agility (not likely) or allow those who spent time leveling it to really turn on the afterburners? Why does someone with 1 agility run the same speed as someone with 99 agility? Does that makes sense to anyone? Again, while I thought of this independently, it probably isn't the first time it's been suggested. That said, it warrants consideration until implementation!

Hardest Skills To Master - List
A lot of this really depends on your perspective while leveling. For powerleveling, the slowest skill is probably slayer: it's very difficult to get more than 15-20k slayer experience per hour with any reliability. That said, I really have enjoyed training slayer, and don't find it a bore at all, since there is loads of variety. Mining is also likely the hardest skill to level honestly, but I shudder to think how many high leveled-miners reached unprecedented levels while mining pure essence / iron / coal through nefarious / illegal means (automining, etc.). That said, I hesitate to offer too much awe when I come across someone with a mining cape, which is really sad because if done honestly is an amazing achievement.

Which Quest now....
Contact is a must. The Sophanem bank is wonderful for anyone ever interested in jacking up their thieving level. You've listed wonderful quests there. My suggestion is to do them all; I don't think there are any you can't do (aside from WGS, which requires 65 farming).

Best melee armour
Bandos Chestplate and Tassets are not good value, but if you a "few Mills" is more than it looks, I'd investigate Bandos. Lots of fun.

What to mage
Metal dragons are the old standbye, but as the value of the visage has dropped, and the amount of magers has climbed, I don't know if you'll make your money back or not there.

Runescape Wilderness survival guide
Useful tip: when you enchant a diamond bracelet, it becomes a "forinthry bracelet", which protects you from being teleblocked. This is a MUST for Wildy!

Tip.It Times Presents: RuneScape Media Revolution
Is that like not reading the details of a thread where it is repeatedly explained that there was an update between the time the article was written and the time this was posted which removed the attack bonuses, but posting anyway without doing your own research? Like, for example, if by "fraction of the cost" you mean "exact same price" you would be accurate, since as of this morning D Plate and Bandos Chestplate have the exact same GE value of 11.5 Million.

Strength Training: Ss vs. D Scim
Given the two, SS is definitely better. As a controlled trainer, I'm a whip fan.

Dragon imps: looting or selling?
Looting imps is a terrible idea, but super tempting (especially dragon ones!). I have succumbed to the temptation many times. I always loot everything but dragon; I sell those now. No idea who pays that crazy price for them.

PVP: Cheating the system???
Not yet, but give it time. I think Jagex is tweaking the rewards system to stop PKing from being a minigame. ATM it is little more than low-stakes gambling to a lot of folks.

4 Years of Castle Wars
Simplicity + Versatility = Elegance The appeal of Castle Wars is simple: you can just charge away and play the first time you step into the game, or you can work in complex team strategies and tactics as an advanced player. Moreover, the game features combat, the most popular element of the game, without the risk of loss, so players needn't worry about losing the stuff they're showing off. Can't replicate this minigame without redundancy; variations from the Gold Standard make other minigames pale. There's a simple reason that Castle Wars has lousy rewards: It doesn't need them.

What's Next ? and Where ? (Achievement Diary)
I like the idea of "binding" multiple pieces together since there are more areas than slots. Better yet, create an achievement cape for all level 3's completed, and let it trim Quest Cape. Can't really work because the Falador Shield Pray Bonus won't ever stack on top of normal trimmed cape Pray Bonus (stack would overpower the cape), but if that cape could give the same access and teleports, it would never, ever leave my shoulders. And yes, I know that's extremely wishful thinking; Jagex tends to rule out "cover-all" items that drastically reduce bank space like that.

Frem Diary - Pyre Task
I did it 6 times, changing west and east, "using" logs vs. other method. It finally worked; I'm not sure why.

Frem Diary - Pyre Task
In Diary it is labeled as "barbarian pyre"; nothing about proper. Others have successfully used the mangled bones.

Frem Diary - Pyre Task
Thanks for looking! I'm trying to do the task to finish the diary up, but it's not working. With mangled bones, arctic logs, a knife and an axe, I go to "construct pyre" at the spot by the whirlpool. The demon guy pops up, but i get no credit. I tried both simply clicking "construct" and "use arctic logs on"... Nothing! Please help!

09-Dec-2008 Achievement Diaries Hairstyles + PVP Improvement
Kill one of the ghosts down there, take the mangled bones, use them instead of chewed. You'll just have to kill a ghost. I've killed over 30. A little more specific on which "ghost" drops mangled bones? any of them like the angry barbarian spirit near the brutal greens, spelt something like that those drop them 100% "Angry" and "enraged" barbarian spirits are not dropping bones.

I'd have been done a while ago were it not for this acursed arctic pyre we're supposed to start. Killed 20+ mith dragons, tons of skeleton rummaging... nothing. Is there an easier way?

99 Slayer or 99 Runecrafting?
Slayer is definitely more fun for me, but if you aren't powerleveling RC, Runecraft is unbelievably profitable. Even with the low margin on natures/bloods/deaths/etc, you need to make so many of them you'll be swimming in money. If you Slay, you just feel like it's faster because the money comes in bigger chunks, with occasional whip/d bow/dragon boot style drops.

Please Close.
Jagex labeled "While Guthix Sleeps" as their first ever "Grandmaster" quest. Perhaps the prerequisite of having EVERY QUEST COMPLETED before starting the quest makes it qualify. This was a long, difficult quest, but I think needing every other quest done first is really the qualifier for "Grandmaster" status. After all, one could argue that the puzzle in ME2 is much tougher than ones here, or that the boss fight in Summer's End was harder than this.

Weekly Poll:Activities would you make your slave partake in?
Definitely monster hunting. I'm a giant chicken and I just feel like I'm going to get smoked going down there to see KQ, DKs, or anythign harder than KBD.

Woodcutting Logic
The fault in logic is there, but I look at the fault a little differently. The two of you will both cut at the same rate, and likely get logs at the same rate. The only difference is that you get less logs per tree. Unfortunately, if you are both cutting different trees, the perpetrator is failing to account for the tree regrowth time. While if you're fishing the new spots pop up instantaneously, such is not the case for woodcutting. If you both share the same tree woodcutting, presumably there will always be another tree ready, since as soon as you knock one over and switch trees, you give the second one time to regrow. There's the issue; now the "perp" has cost you both, since you'll likely both have significant time where there is no tree available to cut.

Total play time...
At least 100. Maybe more!! :^o

Runescape 'Everests'
There are many tasks where no one has reached 200 million experience yet. I guess the people that do reach them get some fame/gratitude/pity, but until level caps are restructured I'm not certain I see any reason to go chasing that lunacy.

Lowest known level to have completed while guthix sleeps?
For whatever reason, the Balance Elemental was really, really hard for me. I spoke with several players, many with stats much better or worse, and I think I was alone in this discovery. He killed me no less than four times! He was hitting for 30+, rapidly switching attack styles, prayer styles, and stat draining. I couldn't hit him with anything! It wasn't until I found a safespot and alternated protect magic/range that I was able to beat him. For these reasons, you can cast my vote on WGS being harder than Summer'S End, although I don't think it was supposed to be.
