Sorry, I don't know ratios but I can say from some reliable sources that d claws are ALOT more rare than dragon pieces.
-
That's strange, I assumed it would since they're raw fish like any other. Perhaps it was/is a bug? I can't remember if summoning came before or after barb training but if it was before then there is a decent chance Jagex forgot to code the new fishes being used on Bunyips.

I'm pretty sure you can paint over a shield with a new image, but you definetly can't un-do colouring it. You can still alch it if selling it is what you're worried about. As Kilo said, watch your language. People find it offensive and it's plain immature.
-
You use the fish on the bunyip and it makes it into a few water runes. Yes, it works on leaping fish. It's a bit slower than dropping the fish but you end up with a bit of a profit, your choice.

The exact thing happened to me about a week ago. I went on the RSOF and went into the tech support board (seems to be the most appropriate... No forum there really fits the issue perfectly). I asked about it (be sure to make it formal without any spelling/grammar mistakes, first impressions count ;) ) and within an hour I got the following response: I still haven't got a message but she said that it couple take a couple of days so I suppose it might still be coming. In the end, it's not the end of the world if you don't get it. Very annoying though. :-#

It's and old glitch that's been fixed, and I'm curious as to why this person keeps posting that video... Out of curiosity, what was the glitch? OT, I'd take D claws over DDS anyday. Who cares about cost when you have a spec THAT epic :P

Leave an offer in for cooking apples and apples(5), both at max price. While you wait, get some cash out in your inv and deposit anything else, tele to Lumby, go to the RFD chest, buy apples and world hop. If you haven't completed RFD, collecting apples just got 100 times slower, your going to have to wait for spawns in the cooking guild. You can even grown some apple trees while doing all this.

Rate My Drop

Have fun trying to sell it... 9/10. -
Mages are generally faster gp/hr, but they can actually come very close to each other at times. It's seriously lucky dependant, as the values of their drops suggest. If all I cared about was money, I'd be killing zammy mages though. Dragon boots drop rather constantly (you will almost always get at least 1 per task or around ~150 mages, often 2, sometimes 3). You can spend a LONG time hunting for a whip drop so it's easy to burn out, however abby demons drop many good items inbetween whips so they make up for it. Summing up: Mages for money. As far as exp/hr goes, I'm torn between the two. If you aren't on a slayer task, mages probably give better xp/hr. Not really, they're not the best money maker in game anymore, but they will still net good cash.

The monkies are better. As said, more hp. Also, in the chaos tunnels the mummies are in a very popular room, slayers going for their black demon, dust devil, nechryael, jelly, turoth and bronze dragon tasks (not to mention Bork hunters) will always pass through your room and scatter your mummies all over. Of course, mummies give a decent amount of blue charms and some rune drops, so that's worth keeping in mind.

If this happens, chances are a clan is merchanting it. If you keep an offer in for max chances are you'll get one sooner or later. If the clan ups the price too much you can wait for the price to go back down to normal when the entire clan sells their helms.

I decided to try enhanced excalibur on some harder slayer tasks (multi combat fire giants with a combat familiar, tends to give me trouble unless I keep standing in a corner). As a welfare SGS, turns out it ain't half bad for a select few tasks. What I'm wondering now if anyone knows if you can get a second excalibur? It's been years since I've done the quest so I've forgotton everything about getting a new one :(
-
It's been awhile since I did RFD, but have you tried magic protect prayer? Maybe even dhide along with it (Ahrim in barrows hits through mage prayer but dhide protects you). Aside from that, try to get in all your specs in while you're super potted.

Tell me. Is this "item" [in principle] any different than Bunny Ears or a Scythe? If it isn't [in principle], then why are you making such a big fuss about it?! Quit thinking about this in a we-need-recognition-for-playing-some-old-game tone, and look at it like a holiday item, in that a limited number of players would be able to participate/receive the item or benefit. Big fuss? :? Since when is trying to discuss/debate something making a fuss? It seems every topic that's half controversial must be made both personal and full of flames. The principle may be *similar* to holiday items, but I disagree with this one. The graphical perspective I believe I already mentioned. As for the proposal itself, it really seems like an item people just want to show-off, but not so much in the same sense as holiday items. If a cape like this came out, all I can imagine are players who've been playing for longer placing themselves above others in their distorted minds. I've looked at the current RSC community, and to be honest, I think I rather stick with the RS2 community. I'm trying not to generalise here, but that's how things are. As for meili's idea, I think that'd be a nice update. The heat here must be getting to me because I could have sworn I said that in my last post. I suppose not. It finds a nice blend between the arguments here, it has all the perks of Omali's idea and there's nothing that could come bad from it.

It wouldn't look natural, but neither does the ring of stone (which uses ore graphics from several years ago) That is a matter of fixing. Jagex has declared this year for updating their game, so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw this changed some time soon. There is a difference between putting an old RS2 graphic into RS2HD and putting a RSC graphic in. It's about Jagex recognizing who supported them before they were popular, paying homage to their roots. They've done everything else to put us out of the public view because Runescape 2 is filled with so many crybabies that the forums and game had to be removed from the main page so you'd need a half a brain to find them. RS2 products didn't make Runescape, the Classic players did, and as Classic is nearing the end of its lifetime, it's about time Jagex remind the players the reason Runescape is what it is today. All the crybabies who think they have it so hard in the game, don't have any idea how it used to be. You know, it's almost as if you're asking for a tribute for playing a game. I think people need to come to their senses with this whole deal, supposed "elite" players looking down at other people just because those people didn't play the game when they did. These "RS2 Products" are people just as much as the ones who played classic and these generalizations are both ignorant and insulting. That said, what have classic players really done? They played a game. Why on earth do we need to throw tributes to this? They built the foundation for what RS2 is today seems to be what you're getting at, but what about the "RS2 products"? If it weren't for these people who gave Jagex such a large player base it would be impossible for Jagex to receive the funds to make RuneScape what it is today. It's not about looking pretty, as any rsc player would know it's never been about looking pretty Well it's time to step outside and smell the roses. Today people DO care about what looks good, I don't agree with it, I still play a 10+ year old online game called Infantry which is technically 2D, but over the years the player base has gone down directly in this game and graphics surely had a part in it. While your RSC values may hold true, I'm sorry to say this one just doesn't carry over to RS2. Not for the majority.

The graphics wouldn't "clash", it's a homage to the 2d avatars, and those avatars wouldn't have HD textures. It wouldn't look any different than Runescape Classic, which was again 2d avatars in a 3d world. Say what you want, it would not look natural for the game. You said it yourself, it would be bringing low detail 2d avatar into a 3d high detail world. Seems your going to take whatever I say personally and steer it towards a flame war. So whatever, I'll skip formalities. But yes, lets support an idea from the classic community, because the couple hundred (probably less than that) of players there NEED homage paid to themselves and the masses of millions of other paying customers don't deserve the dev team's attention instead. Unless you didn't get that, I'm saying that the RS dev team should be complying to majorities, not minorities. As for you not understanding what visually unappeasing means, visual is something seen by the eye and unappeasing means something that doesn't attract something. So basicly I'll dumb it down: RSC graphics in RS2HD would look yuck. I think that's a great idea. It has all the effect of having a new cape/emote but more simple and easy to implement. I'd actually support this, and not just because I don't have bunny ears/[Caution: Jagex Rule Violation].

You know that's odd. For a game that's dead, we had a Jagex Moderator (Mod Dave) who, for the few years until he retired), continued to ban bots, hold public events (with drop parties), and interact with the community. Now we have Mod Emilee who pops in every now and then to give us any news, and even pass on our feedback to the content teams. You don't have to take things so offensively (and I do direct this more so to other users), I don't mean things to start flame wars when I post my opinion, I'm just the extremely stubborn type that will push their opinion. This is, after all, a discussion forum. As for the mods, I didn't know about that, put just having one mod in a game who's predecessor game has hundreds (I believe it's in the hundreds now) doesn't qualify the game as alive. The game has been cut off from new players for years now and hasn't received anything near an update. If you still play this game and enjoy it, that's great, but I just don't see how it could be qualified as anything but dead. Another reason that I don't think it'd be appropriate to have your idea implemented is the graphics would clash. Can you imagine seeing a flat RSC picture in RS2 HD? It'd be visually un-appeasing and in the long run, that can take from the game.

Just a Quick Con price check.. need a Gilded Alter.
Lets_3ekout replied to ultimatballr's topic in Help and Advice
Making gilded tea shelves uses gold leaves, which adds to the price. While you should get gilded shelves if you're half serious about construction, there IS a way to use a friend's tea and not have to make your own. Simply move your house to the same location as your friend's, go into their house and make tea. Run up to their exit portal and drink one dose. Wait for your con level to drop down by one. As soon as it does, drink another dose and QUICKLY run back to your house and build an altar. Edit: Now that I think of it, your houses don't have to be in the same place, it's a tiny bit faster if they are though. I'd only advise doing that if you just want the altar in your house. It's alot of hastle to do that for many items in your house. One last thing - you can try use evil stew to up your level alongside tea and your crystal saw, but I don't recommend it - it's very slow, inconsistant and annoying. -
I was never big on RSC, you're right there. There's nothing to suggest that if Jagex didn't updated RuneScape that the good times wouldn't stop rolling. Why would the community not change if RS2 was not released? Miniclip would still take it's toll on the game's maturity but the only exception would be less players due to a very graphically un-appeasing game. It's the majority that fuels Jagex's pockets, it's Jagex's pockets that fuel frequent updates and it's frequent updates that fuel the RuneScape we know today - one countless times more successful than RSC. Just like trade restrictions, people may not have liked the shift but it was all for the best. Do I know you? Honestly, don't start a flame war for no reason and don't make a fool of yourself. If you disagree with me, discuss it. That's what this board is for.

It sounds like your parents never took pictures and video-taped you as a child/baby. So you wouldn't know how special a memory could be. We don't long to play RSC full-time again, but to cherish the time that we did play it. Why do you need new game content to remember what was? If you want memories, share your pictures amongst others, discuss events that stood out to yourself, look at some vids, etc. If you're one of the few with a RSC account you can even go right back on. Admittedly I have a RSC account and to me it seems like a barren wasteland with a community currently not much better than RS2's. I have baby pictures, but I don't have to put on diapers and jump into a baby carriage to remember the time.
-
RSC is dead, I don't see why people keep on pursuing it. It's the community you all long for, and with RuneScape's community all you're going to get is a faint memory of an outdated game. I honestly hope that the dev team spends their time more wisely than this.

Number one rule of money making: There is NO fast and easy way to make millions. Merchanting can be fast, but you risk bankruptcy and it can be difficult finding a good item. Green dragons are probably your best bet with your budget though. Buy some welfare armour (like rune) and a dragon weapon and kill the dragons in the wildy. Once you get your hands on barrows and a whip go down to the chaos tunnels. If you don't want to grind, then RuneScape is probably not the best game for you.

The new achievement diary having a effect on sgs market?
Lets_3ekout replied to Guthorm's topic in Help and Advice
Not really, I can complete any task whatsoever from Duradel in one trip, the HP boost is unneeded. As for defence boost, super defence potions are dirt cheap. Anyone who doesn't use a super defence potion on majority of slayer tasks is just causing themselves unneeded grief. So really, the DDS speeds up your tasks (somewhat) and the excalibur will save you a couple pieces of food at best. Obviously, if someone struggles to do a task in a trip it *may* be worth considering, but I'm still skeptical. As for SGS, it may have a small dip if people find out about the excalibur and don't consider the alternatives, but I doubt the price will change significantly.
