Pics or documentation? oh yeah , Bronze dagger hits higher than Rune.... it does because i tested it...... lol. Tell me why ags is rising and claws r dieing lol. I'll let comp go into it (if he wishes) but just because a weapon is superior does not mean by ANY mean whatsoever that they will cost more. Look at whip vs GS, or DDS vs d long. You simply can't say that a weapon is better in performance because it costs more or less.

Hmm, I'd personally consider strawberrie baskets if you want to camp out there for a long time. Cakes are very cheap so they aren't half bad to use there, though I'd still be using something like pineapple pizza instead since I don't mind the extra cost. It's up to what you want to spend :

Normal worlds tend to work better for me, revs actually frequently pass by without attacking. Only time they do is when I'm unlucky enough to be at the start of the course while they pass by, in which case they can easily be blocked by the large pipe obsticle or a safe spot in the [bleep]e room with skeletons. Anyway, one thing everyone seems to have missed is the excalibur. The new enhanced excalibur is EXTREMELY usefull here, offering a 20+ hp heal with spec. With excalibur and bunyip I -NEVER- have to eat here, so this how I do my trips: Inv 3-5 Bunyip pouches 1-2 Super anti poison 2-4 Pineapple pizzas (incase I take too long before I block out a rev). Rest of inv: Super energies. Equip Enhanced excalibur (Try get it, it's worth it 100%) Best hunter cape Lightness boots Penance gloves Explorer ring (gives up to 150% extra energy compared to a super energy's 80%. Only bring once per day) Regen bracelet (only bring if very low agility. Otherwise the extra healing is overkill and it weighs you down) I find the time taken to get bones and eat all the peaches at 8hp/ea to be too long, so I don't like the camping with tabs/bird approach. Especially considering my setup lets me train for many hours before a bank (all while running), with no delay to collect bones/convert them/eat them. Whatever you decide on, have fun. Well, about as much as can be had while training agility anyway :P .

Perhaps you could tell me when this great fall came about. They were trading for 11 tables the evening I bought my claws, 20 hours later they were still trading for 6-7 with the price rise. Then, the next morning, several clans dumped a couple hundred claws in the GE for max right after the update and began spamming the selling part, despite not having any of their own - they simply didn't accept trades. One thing lead to the next, and the price began to drop. They plan to buy them back up once it stops dropping and begins to rise again. Comp is right. I bought my d claws on GE for 30m (luck). Just prior to buying them I went to W2 and I saw multiple people offering 3rd age for claws. I probably should have gone back to take their offer, but I'm confident holding onto my claws won't lose me more than 1-5m, if at all (considering I bought at 30m). There is no way street price dropped from 3rd age offers to 15m within 2-3 days without a strong base of merchanters manipulating.

at what magic attack will u always fail
Lets_3ekout replied to destroyon2's topic in Help and Advice
You start attacking a NPC and AFK while your character gets the exp for splashing, not really a good way to train but if your lazy it's considerable... You can't cast anything with 0 mage and if you get the bare minimum it's only temporary :| (only effective way I know of getting 0 mage is standing outside GWD). Also, if you're looking to afk air strikes then you can wear d hide/mage armour and attack the wind mage south of ardougne, you never hit them with their own element. -
It's worth noting you can use a combat bracelet to teleport to the guild when your done with a load of yews and/or just banked your yews. If I remember right, you can recharge the bracelet in the legends guild so you only need to have one.

IS SUMMONING A GOOD THING OR BAD THING?
Lets_3ekout replied to Beeskers503's topic in Help and Advice
Don't only use caps in your posts or mods will be all over your [wagon]. Just a warning, I know how RSOF is... Many people who play a main are suddenly thinking with pure mentality and consider combat levels a bad thing. Combat levels are GOOD. They stop monsters from aggressiveness (wild dogs in Karamja dungeon come to mind) and certain things in RS are only unlocked with combat levels, such as PC boats and slayer masters. There is 0% reason for anyone to not want combat levels from summoning. Even pures should be seriously considering summoning now, since it does NOT affect your combat in pvp worlds unless you summon a NPC. Heck, summoning levels don't even count in BH. While summoning won't help a pure in a fight, it will not disadvantage them in serious PKing (doesn't include CW/duel arena, but who cares?). All it can do is help the pure achieve higher levels faster and with more ease. In day to day NPC killing, I value summoning much more than even prayer. If you're still not convinced get two people with identicle stats but have one use a titan or unicorn. It would be a joke of a fight. -
Dragon Lond sword or Dragon scimitar for ATTACK training?
Lets_3ekout replied to cuppy's topic in Help and Advice
^You should keep a clean Drag dagger if you want to do some serious training. Definitely use dragon scimitar, it has been proven to kill faster than d long a ridiculous amount of times, though it seems it just doesn't sink in to some people that it's better. Nevertheless, make sure you train on a PROFITABLE monster and the second you get 1.5M, buy the whip. Seriously, it's beyond comparison. Whip wins RS. -
I improvised after not being willing to pay rediculous prices, I used my cat, bit it then threw it at my victim hits pretty much the same, but its free. *throws blanket over his cat* If a nerf was going to happen it would have already been done. It's been quite a while since WGS came out now. D claws aren't really overpowered either. It's true that you only really have time to eat one shark between the specs, but if your brain is half awake you'll release you should be hitting tele tab, not shark. Almost no one TB's before a d claw spec either.
-
Not much more to say... This happens to every high level expensive item - when enough of them come into the market (I say that because of elysian/divine shields) they will crash down from their hyped value. I recently bought a pair for 30m, I don't regret it at all TBH. Even if they fall well below 30m I have no plans whatsoever to sell mine. Ever. Lol, Jagex had nothing to do with it. Rumours of a crash have been spreading rapidly for over a week and it seems the effect has finally kicked in. It's also worth noting that AGS can be used for non-spec use while d claws are completely useless after their specs.
-
Like any certain monster or just weaker ones? Any non-boss monster, really. I can manage any slayer task in it so the loss in defense isn't really that big.
-
They rose 1.7M, doesn't seem like it. That's unless they're selling at min after the rise. A crash is due though. Actually, d claws hit 1.5 times per AGS hit, although it doesn't change the fact that claws are better.
-
I'd say d claws. They're cheaper, you can eventually pull a pair from GE at max now, faster, have the same, if not better accuracy and even have a higher max hit (It's assumed a total hit of 96 is possible in a d claw spec, I'm not sure if this is for PvM or PvP). Only reason I'd consider AGS is because it attracts less attention and is more likely to KO after your specs (should they not do the job).
-
Not always, if the first/second hits miss I tend to get a 0%-0%-50%-50% (same damage as a normal hit with increased accuracy).
-
I suppose this can be a blend of general discussion and H&A. Recently bought a pair of d claws and I've noticed the 100%-50%-25%-25% rule isn't 100% consistent. In fact, it's as if the spec of d claws could almost warrant for a guide :P Although I've had countless 24-12-6-7 specs, sometimes they just come out weird. For example, if I miss the first hit it is still possible to hit the others. Now that I think of it, I believe I've never seen the second hit do damage if the first hit missed. Whenever the first hit misses, I seem to get hits such as 0-0-15-15, does this mean that the rule is 0%-0%-50%-50% if the first hit misses? One last thing I've noticed is that when the second hit misses I hit numbers like 20-0-10-11. Could this mean the rule for this is 100%-0%-50%-50%? Which would also mean that if you miss the second hit your total damage will actually stay the same, roughly a 100% increase in damage, not including any max hit effects the spec has, if any. Do people agree with this? Anyone know if the formula changes if you miss the third or fourth hit?
-
It is possible to buy them at max, just not instantly (not last I checked). I recently bought a pair for 30m (mid price was ~28m). I had to leave the offer in overnight for it, but I believe they're getting easier to buy now that the rumour of a crash is running around. I may have got lucky, but I doubt it. If you have the money and a bit of time you will be able to pull a pair from GE eventually. I don't think I'll ever be able to sell my d claws

Melee actually works well if you have the right setup. Terror bird is obviously the golden familiar to have here. Use curry to heal here, it's almost the same as sharks but keeps your inv full. Use brews/pies if you want, but it's either very expensive or more bites to get your ~20hp healed. I used a GS when meleeing CE, but I don't see why whip wouldn't work (though GS is a huge step up in effectiveness here). Remember to do this while fighting: When fighting the CE, always click the right click menu up that lets you select "Attack Chaos Elemental". When it does teleport you, instantly press attack and your character will run towards the CE, even if you don't know where it is. After you start running, use a t bird scroll. Don't use a scroll and THEN attack, because it wastes time (this is even more true if you use super energy potions). If you can do that, you should be all good for meleeing. Although, CE isn't really a profitable boss to hunt nowadays. D2H has fallen below 1m and it doesn't have anything better to offer. A nice boss to hunt for fun though, it's drops are very strange. I'm not sure on the D2H drop rate, sorry :|

Thanks, but nah I like to keep my priv chat on friends/off since I'm usually power training my melee stats (and I get distracted too easily). The plan was to max melee stats (4 def levels to go) and then count everything one last time. Since I can't raise my stats in between tests I could be 100% sure they are all fair tests. Anyway, I think I caught the slayer fever lately so it's slowed my training down abit  Congrats on the visage Peruvian

I have a feeling 150 won't be huge in the RFD/Legends scale. We haven't heard anything from Jagex about the big 150 or a big upcoming quest.
-
Kill zammy mages, always. That's what I use (before 99 str anyway). Note: Don't have to bring any type of healing or titan scrolls. I was practicing prayer flashing and I fail at it. Lol. The best mages to kill are the 3 outside Zammy boss room, you can attack all 3, put prayer on and auto retaliate does the rest of the work. Sara mages have high def and the prayer pot cost is negligible when compared to d boot drops.
-
Umm, ok I seriously didn't get any of that. "They make crap money"? I'll assume that you're reffering to aviansies and they're actually extremely good money. I seriously doubt you can consistantly get two 138's to help you Bandos with your stats. Even if you have two maxed friends, that doesn't mean everyone does. Honestly, you're going to be lucky to get a team with 2-3 120's with stats in the 70's. You also don't have to wait on other people at aviansies. When you get teams of the RSOF the wait tends to be pretty big.
-
A hilt in any one trip is not something you should assume your going to get, because you aren't. With levels 80 and below, aviansies are just plain better.

Your best hope for cash is by far aviansies. Your only real chance for GWD boss hunting is Bandos masses. While the kills are rather quick (mostly low levels go to these so they really aren't THAT much faster than 3-6 man proper teams), because there are so many people your loot will get divided into such small piles that even if you got a hilt you wouldn't really profit much.
