Looking at the graph and RuneScape's previous new items and their price trends, they look ripe for a crash. Not to put out a panic or anything, but if I were you, I'd be selling mine ASAP.

fail lol RoL is the second best training ring in RS really. Warrior ring's +4 slash is so small you would never notice the difference and using a explorer for a tiny +1 prayer bonus doesn't really make up for the fact that RoL can save you 10m+ cash while AFK training :P Berserker > Rol > Explorer. RoW is a very situational ring, so I'm not putting it in there :P 2minutes of reading forums and if you're unlucky a random can kill you. Happened to me a week ago while I was in shilo. I had my berserker on, but made it back (fewf ;) )

Everyone do Seers Achievement Diary, get Ehanced Excalibur
Lets_3ekout replied to AznPrincess's topic in General Discussion
Oh, didn't know about the healing. Still, it's a pretty bad spec considering: A) uses 100% spec bar and doesn't last THAT long from what you say. B) You sacrifice your DDS/GS specs for it. If you don't have a SGS or bunyip then I suppose you might use it. The super defence potion is still superior (or equal) to the boost, is VERY cheap and doesn't use your spec bar. -
It gives a bigger defence boost. It also has a higher str bonus, still a bad weapon overall though. Edit: My friend and I made a test. I'm 95 def, using normal spec I get +8 def (i dont have enhanced yet). My friend is 99 defence and he gets +14 defence. Still a bad weapon, failure of a reward.

+1, Let the cape hunters have the FM, not the innocent public :( Besides that no one uses these anymore, I'd say it could be a good move. Crystal is unalchable, so all it does is help it protecting over more important stuff (a piece of void, maybe?). I'm interested for the reward.

Weekly Poll: What's your current respawn point?
Lets_3ekout replied to n_odie's topic in General Discussion
I use Falador. I find the bank the closest, and seeing myself in Fally after a tough boss fight/AFKing the least depressing. Lumby is probably closer now, which is pretty annoying since they ruined the point of alternative respawns, but Lumby is incredibly depressing to respawn in. May just be me, I don't know. -
0.0 marks. Public chat on hide and not a PKer ftw? ;) Off topic: Just relised I had a PMod invite in my inbox but because I wasn't playing RuneScape so much lately I didn't look at it and it expired. Bummer.

Firstly, moderators will never, ever, demand your info. If they do, then they will be a bias player mod, simply report them. Player mods can only mute you at worst, and Jagex will review their mutes and un-do them if they are unjust. Secondly, you can identify player mods from another world because they will STILL have a silver/gold crown next to their name when they PM you. If they don't have it, report them and put them on ignore.

No, but bring 1 or 2 for the walk to the bandits. This is the best spot in RS for average player. Your xp rates are wrong, zombie monkies are definitely faster, but you lose profit instead of gain profit. Apparently, exp is severely nerfed at armoured zombies if you have not completed defender of Varrock. You may as well finish it, since the armoured zombies only come up towards the second half of the quest anyway.
-
You are going to struggle to get 200k/hr using fishing. 200k+ is VERY easily made otherwise, so if you don't care about exp I'd advise something else... Personally, I think the order is monks>lobs>sharks. Sharks are just too slow, I'm not 100% on this though

You must log out on RuneScape, give it a minute, and it should be updated.

eucalyptus are more efficient to burn though Plus you get the satisfaction of starving koala bears. Don't you call me a koala bear... Rofl, I saw that vid like 10 years ago and I still have the song in my head. Not to mention half of RuneScape calling me Philip Koala. Lol.
-
ROFLMAO. Epic quote. Epic.

Would you actually save time going to 99 from 70-90 though? Considering it does take pretty long to get it :? I've been debating this for awhile, since 99 range is what I'm getting after my next 99, I suppose I may aswell look into it :P
-
+1 Do what you please, as long as it's in the real Runescape rules. If you get bothered by some 10 year old kid half way across the world telling you "omg rofl noob get lyfe" then you have some re-thinking to do :D This is a VERY touchy subject and people will start flame wars at the drop of a hat. To answer the question (this should be in H&A btw) the main ones are: Safing, PJing, no teleports and Protect prayer 1v1. Again, don't feel compelled to follow the rules, they're a formality made towards RuneScape's least deserving.

You cannot piety and profit, unless you get lucky at some places like mith dragons (wish should at least be flash pietied. Always). If you want to flash piety, then it's basically any melee task. Black demons will no longer hit high and guthans/bunyip should suffice for healing, so don't waste prayer pots on using melee protect aswell.
-
Erm yes but you wouldn't get as much exp There is an altar so you can melee protect...? Guthans is nice for healing there, but yeah, not camping in it :-# If you have 68 summon bunyip has never let me drop below ~70 HP though, using prossy. Also melee protect isn't such a good idea because it means you run up to the altar alot more frequently, sorta annoying over time.

I have 91 slayer. I have been training slayer for 3 years. This is what I have found in my experience:Slay points are stupid. They are a complete waste of time. The only reason people use them is becasue they are too afraid to drop them. Who cares about your slayer level, or the ammount of time you've spend in it. Fyi, I've played longer and have 99 slayer, and I disagree with you. By your logic, I win. I have never suggested not to use Duradel. Duradel gives longer tasks.I was just giving my opnion on it. I have information to back up what I say. Slay points give a false impression of free money, when you actually have to do horrible tasks to keep them. If you want to lose money doing 2 hour tasks that give hardly any profit just to get 15 points, worth about 35k, then go ahead. This is starting to get off topic, so ill leave it there since apperantly going against several Official Royal Veiwpoints is trolling. I'm starting to doubt you've even given using slayer points a fair go. The first few tasks are difficult, that's true. However, who said you have to use Duradel and his metal dragon tasks for your first few tasks? In your list, you mentioned banning monsters as being almost the last thing you do. It should be the other way around, you ban tasks FIRST so you don't have to bother with them. Once that's done it's smooth sailing. I personally only have 1-2 tasks that I dislike from duradel that aren't banned, and I can put up with one of them (waterfiends). If you're smart and keep a safe amount of points, you can skip tasks INSTANTLY. No burthoping. Burthoping may seem fast to you, but it still takes time, and many still find it annoying (and it IS terrible xp). People who refuse to use points to both skip and ban tasks are doing themselves injustice, that's true, but if you use them correctly burthoping is mad ineffictive in every way. Of course, if you enjoy it, feel free to burthope. If you're trying to get 99 slayer, you might want to start and pick up good habits and save yourself the time. I don't have any comment on slaying specifically for points using low level masters, since I've never attempted it. I've never done a task I dispise, I've never burthoped and I certainly never was disadvantaged by slayer points. They're a god send. To the topic creator: As said, slayer darts are most profitable, try keep 90-150 points spare so you always have the option of skipping :D

Summoning Pet Guide - [Calling all 95+ Summoners!]
Lets_3ekout replied to Le_Fay's topic in General Guides
Nice collection of pictures :) I'm not big on having pets unless I'm bored and want to train a cat for some extra cash, but I got both phoenixes last night so I can give you a screenie of them if you like. Since you already have cute, here's mean. It's not in low detail though :? -
Did you fight through all the rooms, exit when you got to the phoenix room, get the mean pet, exit the egg room, enter the phoenix room, kill the phoenix, get your reward then try to exit and get into the pet room again? Not quite :P I entered normally, killed phoenix, tried to leave, got lost/mean phoenix, left the "lost" room, returned to phoenix battle room (couldn't fight the phoenix again), tried to exit with door again, got my second phoenix pet. When I returned after that I finally got out.
-
WOW, is it just me or did they heavily increase the chance for phoenix pets? For the record I've been 80 summon since the quest came out. I did my daily phoenix D&D, attempt to leave, guess what? I got a phoenix pet. I chose mean first. I go back out, forget I can tele, so I take the door from the phoenix fight room again, guess what? ANOTHER PET. So now I got two phoenix pet sin a row, one cute one mean :D Anyone else get this? You can still X out, the timer that effects this has not been changed.

I hunt revs alot, it's only for fun really. Over 90% of your drops will be coins, depressing low amounts of coins too. However, if your lucky, you can get decent items. I've never gotton anything close to good as a drop from a rev, but I hear people have gotton dragon daggers and obby capes. Using smite icnreases your chances, as does using jenica's ring. Don't get your hopes up for fast money though, I've used smite and jenica's ring for every rev KO I got, never got anything good.
-
Very unlikely, as said. You would have to average over 40.7 red chins getting captured for every chin that runs away. However, you may want to consider using mage to kill them. Chins have 1hp, so even using wind strike is an option. I suppose you might be able to melee them if you really wanted, I'd use a drag hally for it. But probably not such a great idea to melee.
-
What will you be training on? If you train on rock crabs/yaks/experiments/any other low def monster then you should try to get a obby sword and beserker necklace ASAP when you go members. Don't train with obby maul, only obby pures should do that and they get low xp/hr. Don't get 60 att now, range xp isn't THAT much faster in members (unless you chin/cannon) while melee xp is a huge amount faster. If you don't want to use an obby sword (search "tz" in GE and pick the black split sword version, not the knife), I'd go with your first choice. Wait until your members and train with a brine sabre (not rune scimmy!).

BGS spec is highly underrated, as seen there ^ A good spec on any boss/player will make the fight VERY easy from there on. The spec is not for damage dealing, it does have a small damage increase, but it's the stat nerf you want. Never upgrade to ZGS unless you play CW more than anything. For the average player, NO it is not worth it. Someone with your stats does alot more training than boss hunting, I don't know whether or not you PK, but any GS but SGS is not worth it unless you do ALOT of boss hunting or PKing. Although, if you're loaded with cash (50-100m+) and have nothing to use it on, sure, buy one. They can be very fun to use when you first get your hands on them, I remember I couldn't come to my senses and use a whip over a GS for a week when I first bought a GS. T'was too much fun :D
