  1. I'm not really a big fan of screamo. But if you like Alesana, you might like Drop Dead, Gorgeous, From First to Last, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Circle Takes the Square, or Senses Fail. That's about all I can think of.
  2. It's just a joke, as 1_man_army said. But still, there are people in the world like that.
  3. Thank god. I was starting to get sick of /b/. And the deletion of my posts went back further than 3 months. Latest one I've found is 17th of January.
  4. Just for a huge bump.. Clinic - Distortions into From the Shallows - Ice Box Bit contrasting..
  5. killwhitneydead - Never Good Enough for You (Album) Yeah, every song sounds pretty much the same, but it's very addictive music.
  6. Did you forget it like? Looks really good though, reminds me of when I did the Duke Of Edinburgh award here when at school. Really good memories from that and it started my interest in hillwalking. Nah, we were told not to bring it. Something about because we weren't going to be washing (one guy swam naked in a river to wash off, but.. not everyone's like him) it could be harmful. I don't really know. You kind of got used to the smell though. :)
  7. Foooman has 42 days of songs, Assassin has 24 days of songs. So that doesn't explain it.
  8. Sky Eats Airplane - Everything Perfect on the Wrong Day (Album) They're like HORSE the Band, but not as cool. Still awesome though.
  9. As the year 11 school excursion, my entire year went to the Snowy Mountains in south-east Australia for a week (the people i the photos would represent just under a quarter of my yeargroup). No deodourant, no showers, just having to carry around a freaking heavy backpack in Australia's high-country. It was also the first time I saw snow in my life, but there are no photos of it. [hide] The starting group photo. I'm in the back row 3rd from the right. (The guy with the army pants on injured his ankle and had to go home, so I don't think he's in any of the other photos.) (Day 2) Also first time I absailed in my life. Very fun. (Day 3) Taking a break. That was the big day (we had to walk over 15km), and the day that I was leading the group, along with the guy next to me in the stripy shirt. (Day 4) At the top of Mt. Kosciusko--highest mountain in Australia. very unimpressive to be honest. (Day 4) End group photo. (Day 7)[/hide] Absolutely amazing trip. I thought I would've had a lot of trouble, but I actually found it really easy in comparison to other people. The trip didn't go as planned, as on the 5th day, we were meant to do 10kms, but we didn't move because it was incredibly windy, and you kind of couldn't see anything. On day 6, it was snowing like crazy, so at about midday, we took a short route down the mountain. That was probably the hardest day for me, because I absolutely suck at balance, and walking down a relatively steep icy slope makes you fall over. A lot. I really wish I could do it again though.

    Today...

Yesterday: Got woken up at about 9. Laid in bed for about an hour, then finally got up to have a shower. At 11:30 I started walking to get downtown. I bought a present for one of my friends that's turning 18 (I bought him a cap gun, haha.) then I met up with one of my friends that I hadn't seen for a while. We walked back to my house and talked for a bit. It was cool, but it would've been nicer if she could've stayed a bit longer. Then I did some violin practice, and went back onto the computer. Got picked up by some friends at 6:15 to watch I Am Legend. Line was way too huge, so we missed the first few minutes. It was an alright movie. After that, I got dropped home, ate dinner, and sat on the computer 'till about 1, when I went to bed. Today: Got woken up at 9, again. Stayed in bed until about 10:45. Couldn't be stuffed having a shower. I plan on just staying on the computer, watching TV, and doing some music practice. I think I have to do some vacuuming as well.. Woe is me.
  11. The Arcade Fire - Neon Bible (Album) Pretty good, but I guess I wouldn't expect any less from this band. The obvious highlight of the album for me is the 4th track, Intervention. This is the first time I've actually listened to the album the whole way through. I keep on just putting Intervention on repeat.
  12. Off-Topic (Including Music, Movies, & Television) is "Anything (within the Forum Rules!) not relating to RS or AS". This is related to RS. Either post it here or here.
  13. Ukulele - Me Bass - Varg Vikernes (Burzum) Genre - Hawaiian Black Metal As long as he didn't kill me, it'd be cool. P.S. I know he's mainly a guitarist, but he can adapt.
  14. :o  :o  :o  :-# How many days of songs do you have?!? About 20. If I included my classical it would be about 22 I think. Yay I win, 24 days here :D. I think it's all the drone I have though, [cabbage] is long. The longest song I have is "only" 49:35 (by Anthony Braxton). It probably doesn't help that I have a tonne of cybergrind and goregrind, where all the songs are like 0:30 long.. :)

  16. The Arcade Fire - Intervention By far my favourite song from this band. So freaking amazing. The Organ makes it.
  17. Symbol: [hide]1. !!! 2. ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead 3. 7 Angels 7 Plagues 4. 22-20s 5. 65daysofstatic 6. 1349 7. ÃÆÃ
  18. They're by no means my favourite band, but some of their songs are pretty awesome. E.g. Eyeless, the Heretic Anthem, the Blister Exists.
  19. Funny thing is you look even more an idiot than the OP because not once did he use 1337speak. He's used to looking like an idiot. OT: Yeah, I bring my Zen and phone to school most days, but everyone does that. I only ever seem to get in trouble for completely non-rebellious things. For instance, mid-way through last year, I found like 3 bruised apples in the bottom of my bag, so I decided I'd play bowles with them (it worked really well, since they curve to one side). Few of my friends and I played for a while, then my Physics teacher came up to us, and told us (mainly me) that we were pathetic examples and we should all be ashamed. ... ... Ashamed.. for playing bowles with bruised fruit? Man, I love going to a Christian school. But, I never really get into trouble. Just get shouted at by teachers. They generally try to guilt you, saying you should be more mature, but it's not very effective considering I don't respect any of my teachers. 'cept maybe one or two.
  20. Thanks for the replies. And at Woopidoo, I have been asking a few people who I really respect as guitarists, and there's a few more, including my old guitar teacher, who I'm going to be asking when I get a chance. The problem with asking a seller, is that if I wanted to ask someone who'd give me a good answer, I'd have to travel for a few hours. The music shop in my city only really sells Ashtons and a few of the lower-range Ibanezes. And the people that work there know absolutely nothing about music in general, let alone specifics. If I end up going to Sydney any time soon, I'll make time to go to a guitar shop there, but it's probably not really practical.

    Today...

Woke up at 11, had a shower. Got myself a coffee and watched news for about half an hour. Been on the computer since then, and I'll probably stay on until about 4, when I'm going to a "party". Should get home some time like 10:30. Then I'll be on the computer till about 1:30. Fun fun fun.
  22. You are such a man. :) It might be because it's late and I'm tired, but that was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Well.. at least the funniest thing this week.
