What is your opinion on active euthanasia?
The difference between me and you, Pianofrieak2, is that I have my own opinions - I am not told what to think by the church. Fortunately not every christian pontificates as much as you. What zealots like you need to learn is how to feel some empathy. It's all very well to spout your tripe and quote bible verses til you're blue in the face when you are healthy and well but if you knew that you were going to spend the rest of your short life in agonising and unspeakable pain having to have people to help you go to the toilet whilst those you loved had to watch you suffer then the shoe would surely be on the other foot. It just makes normal people see you as pompous and ignorant when you can't think of other people and how they might feel.

preferance of music
Prog rock primarily - the likes of Yes, Gentle Giant, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Van Der Graaf Generator, ELP, PFM, Echolyn and Eloy. Punk a close second - the likes of NOFX, Bad Religion and so on. Some metal - the likes of Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation (only Be), Opeth, Lamb of God. Also a fair amount of classical - the likes of Clementi and Handel; I particularly like harpsichord music.

What is your opinion on active euthanasia?
I think that the sickening religious right who campaign against euthanasia would sharply change their tune if it was them who was suffering.

CPU help :S
The 3700+ is San Diego core whereas the 3500+ is Venice. I've heard San Diego is better for some reason. Anyway, I have the 3700+ and I've noticed it runs very cool compared to my previous Barton.

Personal favorite classic games. PC games.
Whenever I've tried using DOSBox it has run FAR too fast even when I've turned the speed right down... Case in point: Syndicate Wars - it was unplayable because as soon as your mouse touched the edge of the screen it shot to the other side of the map.

The Nintendo Wii
Flawed? It's downright invalid. The Wii is the only console I'd consider purchasing, and it is THE FIRST. Simply because of the innovations.

building a computer
Getting a better graphics card would have much more effect than having 2GB RAM. More fool anyone who uses a power supply that comes free with a case.

Personal favorite classic games. PC games.
I remember I was always disappointed with the 'death ray' weapon - it was more like a peashooter. Crystal Caves was good, but I think its predecessor Secret Agent Sam was better, As for my list, pretty much anything made by Apogee and then stick Deus Ex on the end. I'm afraid to play Deus Ex again because I know it won't be as good as I remember it. Oh yeah, and also the SpaceQuest series - 3 in particular. And Loom, that had great music.

Programming. It flat out baffles me.
One thing you'll encounter in the world of programming is an incredible amount of fanboyism.

Worst video game EVER!
Almost any hack & slash games, particularly Devil May Cry ones and those samurai ones which I see my girlfriend's brother playing. Also any of the LOTR 3rd person games and pretty much any movie game ever. To me it's just too hard to think of any worst game, just because there have been so many.

Looking for some sound isolating earphones for my iPod.
What do you call too expensive? Shure E2c are great for that and cost around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã60, as are the next step up - E3 at around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã110.

the Davinci code
I think this should be in the music & movies forum.

Favourite Movie Line?
"Well, well, well! Well if it isn't fat stinking billy goat Billy Boy in poison! How art thou, thou globby bottle of cheap stinking chip oil? Come and get one in the yarbles, if ya have any yarbles, ya eunuch jelly thou!" "What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got, say, pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angels' trumpets and devils' trombones. You are invited!"

question about my speakers
A time when I've had very fuzzy music was when the volume was set really LOW on the speakers but HIGH on the computer - meaning that the sound card was doing too much of the amplification and it couldn't handle it.

"Athletic" MP3 players..
I wonder now if the iPod shuffle is worth buying at all now. Here's why: My girlfriend just got a 1GB SD card for ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã20 inc postage. You can now get a $9 SD card MP3 player - don't know where, but I saw it in the deals section of ocforums.com. Don't know how much the SD card would be in $ because of course it's not as simple as just translating it (things are generally cheaper in the US) - but that has got to be cheaper than a shuffle.

Programming. It flat out baffles me.
I recently did a project in VB ASP.NET (not my choice of language - they said it had to be ASP.NET in VB or C#) and I found the site 4guysfromrolla.com helpful. From what I've heard if you're wanting to do web programming then you should be learning PHP.

Are you happy with your classmates?
My coursemates always start their work far too late, and so I end up doing so too.

Top 10 weirdest keyboards
I've used one of the laser keyboards, they're terrible. I considered getting one for my PDA but then realised just how bad they are - they don't recognise your keystrokes half the time and the laser is hard to see in anything but a darkened room. They've got one of those "Maltron 3D Ergonomic Keyboards" at my university bank branch.
