Fire cape isn't always the best cape for slayer, far from it. There is room for atleast 3 capes for even pro slayers(with overloads and spec restores). Sw cape is generally the best cape a medium to high level slayer can use, and if you can't use turmoil(which the posted doesn't), sw cape is clearly better. Oh, and level your slayer. You suck at it.

What's unbalanced party penalty? exclusive penalty for summoning pures(and general low levels on higher level teams)

To OP: Big mistake buying the ability :( Since there's no point doing the task without fire cape anyway. As BBK quoted, with fire cape, you'd get 2 X the damage. That's not really completely true, tbh. With mage, yes, it's not a great task anymore, but if you cannon and melee, it's still a fast(42k ph) and profitable task, but really, you should get the cape.

You lose 50%+40 damage per hit without the cape, assuming you use fire spells.

Most everything you've posted after 1st february has been in negative light of the update. Luring/scamming/general ass'ish behaviorism is there for not only because there are people with bad intentions, but because there are stupid people who fall for the traps. Seeing the problem this one sided is what makes me mad. The person in question is trying to MH the best way he/she can, and if it takes screwing people over(who are there to be screw'd over, with non-ls), so be it. Why not say that the stupidity of rs players made this sort of behavior more common?

It was because someone missed a number while putting the offer in, and because there weren't any offers in at the time, the first person to go over it(180m) got the hat. If there were offer in the ge already, it would have gone to the highest bidder at their price(atleast that's what would usually happen).

I know how Mithrils defense are. But for once i would love to see Weakning spells to be actually used... Weakning spells should have 95% chance of working always, and 100% when you have +50 magic attack bonus. Chaotic rapier + vulnerability -10% Mithril dragon defence would be nice... What is this, H&A or runescape suggestions? First you want them to alter swh, then weakening spells, just for you- things don't work that way. If swh only degraded for the time it's actually used it'd be abused very badly, and nearly every boss would become ~50% easier. The 1 minute timer is there to limit it's uses for balancing reasons. Vls would be extremely deadly aswell if it only degraded for the time being used.

Let me guess -- you're a white male, with no children ... I have absolutely no idea why you'd make such a big fuss about this. You are basically producing racism and laughing at sexual equality with that kind of posts. If you can't get over who you are and feel as though there is something to make fun of you because of that, you've got a problem. I don't at all get the sense that you think race doesn't at all matter and that men and women are to be treated equally, which is pitiful. Making jokes/insults about those subjects is about ignorance of them, not you. Come to earth, grow some balls(i think it's fair to say this as we are on the subject of equality) and stop taking everything personally- the world doesn't revolve around you. As for what to do when reporting, just don't report at all. In all my 8 years of runescape, i've never reported anyone for bad language, never been muted(or banned) myself and only reported around 5 people. There really is very little anyone should ever see as being offensive in runescape and if you are reporting people just to get closer to a player mod status it's as pitiful as committing the offense in the first place. I think the adult thing to do is to ignore insults of petty levels and only report those who go really overboard and personal.

I had the same thought but this guide was very well done, covered every topic in depth. Lots of the "omg really?" ivy guides are just "go here with a rune hatchet and chop." Nice job. I had the same thought, and even though the guide is nicely written, it doesn't offer much useful information, i personally found nothing new in it, and i feel that there are some things the guide actually missed. It's not hard to cover the topic in depth if it's about cutting ivy, and i see no information about what to do while afking ivy or how to not miss swings/nests. The tip for tree patch is fairly useless because of hydra scroll ability.

I can see everything that would otherwise be hidden being fair game. I see no reason for racial insults being above others, but for that yanks are being soft in the subject. The more intelligent and higher standard insults might still be reportable, though(i remember a guy getting muted for saying: ''Did you ask your grandpa how gas felt like?'').

I HIGHLY doubt they'd mute someone for using words that would otherwise be starred out. They aren't visible to those that do not wish to view them, thus it's your own choice. It'd be the tip of hypocrisy reporting someone because you want to be cussed at.

I think it's senseless to think merchants don't provide a service. Merchanting has been around for thousands of years for the sole reason that it benefits both parties. If merchanting only distributed wealth there would be no reason to do it.

I understand it perfectly well. For one thing, I could say I disagree that it makes things more efficient. Merchanting doesn't create wealth, it redistributes it. If something allows for great efficiency then it gives you more time. Just because Merchanting may give you more time and more time may be used to create wealth doesn't necessarily mean Merchanting creates wealth. Merchanting creates time, which in term equates to cash. Thus, even though it's indirectly, merchanting does produce something.

Well, if he is planning on owning the best armor he'll need alot more than 850m. Or even 8.5b. Divine+ Torva+ Pernix+ Virtus should total around 16b(very rough estimate). I doubt many will get there by skilling, so staking and merchanting are probably the only ways(with merchanting being the overwhelmingly more sensible option).

The quality of the H&A is only there because there are good people willing to sacrifice their time. If the sacrifice isn't appreciated(and is being abused, as we find from this topic), what is the motivation behind helping others? This has nothing to do with elitism, rather how people are so stupid nowadays that they can't even do their shoe laces. If you want a question answered, first search for it, and if you can't find it, then ask. Is that too much to ask? By the way, i love the way some people call others bad names for all the wrong reasons. Really shows what they are made of.

I made more than 500m making dragon plates a while after they had been released. Just because you aren't smart enough doesn't mean it can't be done. Also, cannonballs have always been highly profitable.
