Friends server was down first. Me and someone else who were working on getting Cat Training medals noticed that. Then I saw someone on the rants forum say that the Login Server was down Then I noticed the forums were down. Then I got kicked off of the world I was in 2 minutes ago... Either Jagex is making a massive overhaul of their servers or something critical just happened at Jagex Towers.

The "Member of the Month" idea would cause too many disputes, as mentioned above. Having the whole of the staff going through and deciding which member acted the most mature would be hard. There are several members who act equally mature, and having to decide among them could start to indicate favoritism. I think we've already had 1 or 2 cases where someone tried arguing favoritism on us in a decision (I think, not entirely sure though). As for the general discussion topic; I remember that before we had a ban on What-If topics, which obviously was heavily relaxed upon. I guess just so long as we don't get to very pointless topics (like some of those seen in the "Post Thy Funny Forum Posts" topic), then there shouldn't be any problems. So long as there is at least some discussion available, the topic remains open. That decision is reserved to the moderators and those who moderate the individual boards, however.

Yeah, I realize that. I was the one who put all those monsters in, and at the time, Undead seemed like the best choice since they were technically thousands of years old. We have no "extinct" category, so if someone can suggest a better idea for what they should be categorized under, we can update it.

An idea I had a while ago on this (and I mean a long while ago, no one will find the topic on it) was something to the following which would probably be just as effective as the original idea. When you receive a trade, a list appears in the top-right of your game screen (not the mini-map, the actual screen of the game). This would list players in the order that they traded you, and would only list them once. You would then be able to click a player on that list and choose to accept or decline their trade. Declining would disable their ability to trade you for 1 minute to prevent spamming. After accepting a trade, the name gets removed from the list and you can then see who the next person in line was. After 2 or more trades appear, a "Decline all" option could also appear, which automatically declines all trades and lets you get on with your business. That's what my idea was, as far as I remember it.

What it probably ends up being is it makes a random rune for each essence used (they did say it would be unpredictable). That's all the more I can think of regarding what they said about it.

If I read correctly, the 2x2 means the monster takes up 4 squares. Like for example, a Chicken would be 1x1, a Fire Giant would be 2x2, most dragons (I think) are 4x4, etc.

Just a note: When you post drops in here, try and specify specifically which level monster you are attacking. Monsters of different levels, regardless how little, can have different drops and we don't want to put the drops in the wrong place.

To the final comment, Amulet of Magic is more likely in the Magic Guide. From my understanding, the Combat guide has heavy focus on Melee combat.

About the best I can recommend is that if you see a spammer, simply add him to your ignore list and that will take care of the problem for that specific person for good.

The Tipitchat account is owned by Lightning (Admin). This issue has been addressed in private among the rest of the staff and we are working on solutions. If things get too out of hand, there is a possibility that the chat may become unsupported, and so what happens happens without intervention of staff, except for when they're present. Tip.It Mods and Crew can have rank if they want, and the possibility of civilian moderators has been brought up. That's all the more I can disclose at this point. I ask that you do not pm Lightning asking to become a civilian moderator; If any will be chosen, we will choose them on our own, and asking to be one will almost guarantee you not becoming one.

We are seeing a message sent to Jagex by "you." To call a loop hole on that, he looks in the clear. I personally don't see anything offensive about it (besides the Gangster thing, but that's borderline) so I doubt anything is going to happen. Can you be more specific as to which one? We have a level 24 and level 26 guard in the bestiary.

To the comment about updating to Php 3.x, I believe we decided that we will not update to version 3.x until it is considered stable and bug-free...

Just use a safe-spot on them. The first two you encounter in the cave can be safe-spotted easily.

You do NOT have to be on Ancient Magicks to set a portal to Kharyll (Canifis). You only need to have the correct runes. Likewise, you do not have to be on Modern Magic to set a portal to Mainland Teleports (Varrock, Lumbridge, Falador, Ardougne, ect). I know this because I have 6 portals in my house, including Kharyll.

They automatically appear in your Cape slot, and disappear after the match. I really don't think they can be considered an item since there is absolutely no use other than identifying your role in the game.

Just to note something on Devoted's point: Just because 1 crew member shoots down an idea doesn't mean the rest won't. However, this idea has been shot down by Admins I believe as well, and if they shoot it down, it usually stays down. All of us who work at Tip.It work so as volunteers. We receive no paycheck for working for the site. That being said, it's still hard enough to make money for the site with just advertisements. If we had the extra bandwidth being used for Dynamic Stat signatures, then we'd probably have to pay a whole lot more. Pretty much, if you'd like people to see your stats in your signature, the best thing you can do is just tell people to look up your High Scores link, which can be conveniently found by clicking your Runescape name that you provided, which is located a few spaces below your Tip.It username in every post.

To the people who say that a child who is under 13 will have their parents sue Runescape, then there is no basis because it is the child who has broken Runescape's Terms and Conditions. This right here voids any argument a parent might have, as they cannot place an argument without admitting their child broke the terms and conditions.

An easy way to fix this, however, without modifying the Terms and Conditions (at least based on my limited knowledge of Copyright laws) is to just make an announcement basically stating the following. Anyone who follows these instructions will then have given permission to JaGEx to use their idea without copyright issues. About the only issue I can see is people revoking the permission on JaGEx (which I'm not sure they're allowed to do or not) and then trying to get a quick buck on JaGEx by suing them, which puts us back at the original issue.

Realize that there may be a lot of lag on these servers right now. With this clan chat, more servers are being forced to communicate with each other at faster rates than usual. With space for 100 different people, it's possible for there to be 100 different worlds communicating at once through the system. So the servers now have to process mass communication between each other and each player's individual game.
