  1. I swear... some people can't take a Joke. The guy was having some fun, he didn't necessarily copy anything... Shut up and get back to playing the game. And if it turns out that that is what the icon will look like, he gets a big "I told ya so" on all of ya, so just be quiet, let the guy have some fun, and get back to playing... Sometimes, I think people are expecting a new "Flaming" skill to come out. In which case, half the people on this thread would have lv99 in no time.
  2. It doesn't have a Strength option so that it isn't overpowered. If we're gonna get a weapon with a Strength option, it'll either be no where near as strong or no where near as fast.
  3. For the most part, this rule is enforced only via complaints. Jagex will not randomly check for someone's age unless there is absolute and undeniable evidence (which would be 99.9% impossible by regular means) that the child is under 13. Besides, to get the [email protected] e-mail to work to get an account deleted, you have to provide things like... *Username *Password *Recovery Questions *Other Password recovery information. So if someone was gonna try and get Zez shut down, they'd definately have to be related to him.
  4. Darkblade986 (currently lv97) Feels fire capes are a waste of time...
  5. Here's what I bet it'll probably be... A little squirrel comes running past you. As it passes, you swing a weapon, which hurls it into the air and out of site. It then comes back down and you catch it, at which point it has turned into a hat.
  6. You can't trade in the arena anymore that I know of.
  7. Could you use the tablets at the mage training arena? That means you could get the points and you can get full xp, so it wouldn't be completely useless, would just take alot of clay #-o Another (useful) alternative to the onyx teletablets is to do House Teleports. I made about 300 of them and got a small (but nice) chunk of EXP for them. I use them now to get to my teleport house, which has 6 portals for me to use.
  8. Here's something I realized a few moments ago about this skill... If some of you were observant when the Warrior Guild first came out, the Strength Trainer (at the shot-put toss) mentioned him obtaining his axe from a Barbarian in a contest to catch a squirrel. He swung the axe, chopped down the tree and caught the squirrel... Sounds like hunting? I'd say so... and I think that means we'll have the opportunity to get that axe... Just imagine what that thing will hit... :ohnoes: :ohnoes: :ohnoes: :ohnoes:
  9. 2 Words: House Teletablets Here's my setup. 1) House Teletablets 2) Small Pouch 3) Medium Pouch 4) Large Pouch 5) Money 6) Nats 7-28) Essence (22) Use house teletablets to get from the altar to your house (which should be located in Brimhaven). From here, it's an extremely short walk to the Tai Bwo Wannai General Store (compared to from the nat altar). Then procede with the original method. By this method, I can make 40 Nature Runes per run. Given, those who do the walking make 41, but my method is faster nats. An Extra minute for 1 nat isn't worth it for me.
  10. Just kind of an idea I thought of when I saw someone's sig about suggesting updates to this... For the new clans out there (or for old, doesn't matter), the clan leader could make a "Banner Ad" about the size of the standard Advertisement seen at the top of each screen, or about the size of a Signature (which ever the moderators would like). After making this ad, they can submit it to a pre-determined crew member(s), who could edit it into a loop of Clan Advertisements. In essence, it would allow the clans to advertise themselves with the rest of the advertisements. Also, when making a new Clan, the person should be able to receive a rank shown near the Avatar that says "Clan X Leader" or "Clan X Co-Leader" or "Clan X Member" or those kind of things to identify what clan you're part of. Just my 2 cents about that...
  11. If I recall, I believe that was Thundercats... Don't ask how I'd remember that...
  12. Woah there will be alot of new players getting stuck there if nobody helps them out, if there really is no other way out. Just go to the center area of that place and you'll find a set of roots that have the "Climb" option.
  13. Ok, think about this... I've seen reports that Jagex has over 5 million members, and not even 1 million of them are members... That means 4 million accounts are free-2-play... Assume that maybe 1/2 of the accounts are secondary accounts. That leaves 2 million further members to play on free-2-play. Assume now that only 1/4 of them are computer literate people who would know how to block the ads: that leaves 1.5m people who still have to deal with the ads. Assume further that 2/3 of these people play Runescape daily. That means Jagex is getting 1 million customers to make about 4 million hits on their advertisers (main page, detail select, world select, game page). With the other 1 million accounts, again, assume 1/4 are computer literate and know how to block ads: 750k left. Assume 2/3 play runescape daily: 500k left. These members get 3 hits each on ads (main page, detail select, world select), meaning an additional 1.5m hits. That means Jagex is getting AT LEAST 5.5m hits on ads if some of the population was blocking ads. Now I don't know how much money Jagex makes per ad, but if we assume they make 5 cents ($0.05), that's $275k DAILY. Even if they only make .01 cents ($0.01), that's still $55k a day. I think Jagex can afford to let people block ads...
  14. The 2 areas I mentioned are very plausable now. I just went to look and the fishing platform seems to be a better bet.
  15. There may be some proof to the Telegrab theory... If you bring up the World Map and look over Entrana, position your map so you can see the area of the mainland to the East of Entrana. There are 2 points where land seems abnormally close where telegrabs might occur. These 2 spots are the fishing docks and the area northeast of the Law Altar. And I'm still clueless as to any other means to get stuff across... I'm gonna go have a look and see if either of these 2 places are conceivable to this theory...
  16. I've sent in a query to Jagex, and when I get it, I'll throw a screenshot up of the response.
  17. 28 of these?: http://www.kaymancharters.com/reports/20lb_monkfish.JPG  Ah, yes, 28 of these would be much easier:  now imagine eating it when fleeing from pkers  Screw eating it to get away from pkers, hit them with the darn thing... That thing has to be at least twice as long as halberd and hit just as hard...
  18. Nice.... My best amount was about 102 @ 170-odd quest points...
  19. This could be debated either way... It isn't a bug because it's designed to work to help other players, and in cases like that, it could be used to save the other person. However, if the person doesn't want to be tele-othered, and is in the middle of the combat, then it could be item scamming/bug abuse since they are abusing a game mechanic in a way it is not supposed to be used. Now of course, an easy fix to this would be to make it where after you've declined the teleport, you can't be tele-othered for a couple of minutes...
  20. You can't Smith on entrana, however you can Smelt. I can't think of how he got it on, but I'd kinda like to know what kind of thinking would be required to get stuff on without a Treasure Trail.
  21. I'm never that heartless. I doubt I'd have even picked up the items, but I never doubt anyone's economic status. I hit a lv3 Smithing Pure who was selling about 19 Rune Kiteshields before (he had 1m, and that was alot of money at the time for me [f2p]). That, and I could probably just make the guy new armor if he had the materials. Even if he didn't, I had a couple Rings of Forging in my bank. He gives me a few minutes and I could have him a fresh set of armor.

  24. In High Detail mode, you can see the ground level from upper levels, you always have. Low Detail mode was designed to be less graphic intense, and the bottom floor graphics was a waste of pixels since you couldn't see it in real-time (which you can't on High Detail anyways). Either way, this isn't a Help and Advice topic, so this would've been more suited in General F2P or General P2P, although you'd get flamed as a noob probably..
  25. Ape Atoll is by far the fastest. Each course takes about 1 minute to complete while walking. On Ape Atoll, if you're lucky (and I'm the same level as you), you can maybe make 45-60 grand EXP if you run as much as you can. If you haven't finished Recipe For Disaster: saving the monkey subquest, then you can pick the Tchich monkey nuts to heal for infinate exp.
