  1. Didn't you hear? Kalphite Queen got a new attack... it's quite powerful as your clan has learned.
  2. Speed-wise, it's a lot faster. Exp wise, Ectofunctus is still greater. Compare... 3.5x exp in 2 minutes compared to 4x exp in 5...

    FARMING PURE!!!!
  4. I just looked on the frontpage of Runescape and went to go on the forums. I look to my right and notice the Crossbows update, and when I see the picture, I do a double take... Was I just seeing things or... WAS THAT A SQUIRREL WITH A CROSSBOW?!?!
  5. The 100 points don't guarantee a level. If you are on the extreme low end of a level, you won't get it but you'll get rather close.
  6. Question about the combination spell... Does it just allow you to make Combination runes without the Talisman, or puts it at 100% success?
  7. Can't you get the first 3 in the Culinoromancers chest? Just hop worlds there, pay some people to fish for you, and voila! I'd like to see you get 1,000 Pie Tins, Bread Doughs and Potatoes just by world hopping... As for the Salmon, I managed to get 500 or so from the Shilo Village Fishing Store, so that'll be taken care of... and I have a friend who wants to get his fishing level up so I'm letting him take care of the Tuna. EDIT: And I'm making the Pie Tins myself cause I still need 3 Crafting levels before I can do the quest...
  8. Here's something that would be really nice... Team of people, all with Vengeance Vs. Kalphite Queen The queen lets loose one of the multi-hitting spells and obliterates herself in a reign of 22s. So what if she has protect from Melee, she's killing herself.
  9. Think of the possiblities for this though... and I'm actually planning to do this. Get a couple friends together and assign them an ingrediant to obtain. For my example, it would be the following (and I'm sure you all know where I'm going with this once you see the ingrediants). 1) Pie Tins 2) Dough 3) Potatoes 4) Tuna 5) Salmon At this point, make a bunch of raw admiral pies and get a ton of cooking experience in a flash. Just stand near a bank, and do the following... Withdraw raw pies - Cast Bake Pie Spell - Bank cooked pies - Rinse and repeat If you use a staff, you can have 26 raw pies cooked at once, and Admiral Pies give 210exp each, which makes 5,460exp in 10 seconds. Given, you have the length of time to get the ingrediants, but if you want to surprise a friend with your level overnight (for those little competitions of who gets a skill first), this would be perfect.
  10. Just wear armor that gives you a high negative value on your Magic. For example, using Rune Armor or Dragonhide Armor will drop your Magic Offense bonus to the -40s. At that rate, you rarely hit. I've seen people downstairs of the Magic Guild in full Bronze armor with a Mud Staff, continuously casting Curse on the Zombies with the 100k Body Runes they've bought upstairs.
  11. Wouldn't Ice Lands refer to the area from Desert Treasure for the Ice Diamond? Not very expanded, but it sure fits the bill pretty darn well.
  12. I've gone through all the spells in this new list, and I've determined how they can be helpful, either to you or your target. Cure other - When cast on another player, this spell will cure them if they are suffering the effects of any poison. *If you are generous about this, if someone flies into a bank asking for an antipoison, be generous and give him this. Cure me - If you are suffering the effects of any poison, you can cast this and cure yourself of it. *Saves you tons of space on Antipoison potions for the dangerous times when you need it Cure group - When cast, this will cure anyone who is poisoned in the area surrounding you. *I think there's team monsters out there somewhere that poison you. This is perfect for that Heal other - When cast, this will transfer some of your hitpoints to your target if they have lowered hitpoints. *Heals a wounded comrade, and benefits people using full Dharok greatly Heal group - When cast, this will transfer your hitpoints to heal anyone who has lowered hitpoints in the area surrounding you. *Heals a bunch of wounded comrades, and benefits people using full Dharok immensely Bake Pie - When cast, this spell will cook any unbaked pies in your inventory. *Imagine the possibilities - lots of raw admiral pies, Fire staff, Astral Runes, Water Runes... 5.4k cooking exp in the blink of an eye. Me and a friend are gonna work to get a bunch of pies, then I'll do the quest and we'll make a bunch of admiral pies and give me tons of cooking exp. Cure plant - When cast, this spell will cure the target farming patch of disease. *Saves you Cure Potions for those of you still into farming. NPC contact - When cast, this spell allows you to commune with certain NPC's from RuneScape, such as the slayer masters or guides from some minigames. *This makes getting a slayer task so much easier. Simply cast, talk, and hope you get a task close to where you are. Superglass make - This spell allows you to make glass without the use of a furnace. You will still need sand and soda ash/seaweed. *Saves you trips to a furnace if you make glass String jewellery - This spell allows you to string unstrung amulets without needing a ball of wool. *This is one of the most annoying things in the game. Now you don't need any wool. Stat restore pot share - When cast on a stat, super stat, prayer, or energy restore potion, it will share it with up to 4 other players in the surrounding area. *While it uses a doce for each person, it makes certain team-based tasks easier - 1 person carries all the potions, sharing a doce with his friends, the others fill their inventory with food. Magic imbue - When cast, you are powered to combine runes for a short amount of time. *Another attempt to make combination runes popular... not gonna happen so long as you lose a talisman per set of runes. Fertile soil - When cast on a farming patch, this spell with fertilise the soil with supercompost. *Saves you the hour it takes to make compost, and it's super compost automatically as well. Boost potion share - When cast on an attack, defence, strength, fishing, ranging, agility, or magic potion in your inventory, it will share it with up to 4 other players in the surrounding area. *See Stat Restore potion share Energy transfer - When cast, this spell will damage you a little, but transfer your special attack and some run energy to your target. Vengeance other - When cast on your target, this gives them the power of Vengeance. *Hide a Vengeance in a person when you explore the wilderness, or post it on Castle Wars teammates, and surprise the heck out of your enemies. Vengeance - When cast you have the power of Vengeance. If you are attacked, your opponent receives a large percentage of the damage they inflict with their first damaging attack. *Cast it just as you are about to be attacked in the wilderness, and scare the crap out of your attacker. Moonclan teleport / Tele group Moonclan *Good for Astral Rune Crafting Waterbirth teleport / Tele group Waterbirth *Quick access to Dagganoths Barbarian teleport / Tele group Barbarian *Just as effective as Edgeville Glory Teleport, with a small walk to boot Khazard teleport / Tele group Khazard *Not much this one does, except give you an Ardougne Teleportation Fishing guild teleport / Tele group Fishing Guild *Good for all the fishers out there. Takes you smack infront of your favorite guild. Catherby teleport / Tele group Catherby *For those who aren't high enough to enter the Fishing Guild, this one is just as good. Ice plateau teleport / Tele group Ice Plateau *Not much use here... unless your friends still have their sleds and want to go racing =)
  13. That's as good as the spontanious Wine trick... for those of you who don't know it, here it is. Get lots of grapes and Jugs of water. Make Wine, but don't let it ferment. Instead, quickly put it in your bank and withdraw it in note form. When Unfermented Wine is left in your bank or in your inventory, it ferments automatically. While noted, it doesn't. After you get a ton of the stuff, toss it all back into your bank, and wait a few seconds. Then, KABOOM! Massive Cooking experience. Back on topic now, that would be a good way to do that... I wonder if it works on noted pies...
  14. It would seem the Mysterious Old Man had a brother (or sister, whatever the gender was). I envy you.
  15. I can tell you exactly what happened. As the game ended, you lagged, and your game connection probably dropped for a few seconds. The game still registered you leaving, but the code to remove the stuff was lagged off. I've had this happen with the pillory. I would get the keys right, I'd lag, then I'd teleport back but the pillory menu was still there. Just log off and back on and it'd be fixed.
  16. It took me 3. And as for what I used on Desert Treasure... Lets see... About 30 Tuna/Sweetcorn Potatoes (yes, I took the time to make them) No more than 10 Prayer Potions 3 Lock Picks 3 Regular Restore Potions
  17. This was my favorite combination when I did Pest Control with a Whip. Essentially, this was all it was. I didn't bother with Attack Potions, Strength Potions, Attack PRayers, ect... Every so often, I'd use Ultimate Strength but that's about it. here's what I'd do. 1 - Dragon Battle Axe 1 - Empty (money) 26 - Normal Restore Potions Wielded - Whip, anything else Essentially, what I'd do is I'd hit the Dragon Battle Axe special as soon as the game started, then chugged a doce of Restore Potion, which reset my Attack, Defense, Magic and Range back to normal, leaving them available to me as needed. Also, another popular stratigy that I used when I had Dharoks was Dharok vs 3 Splatters. Just go and kill about 3 Splatters and your hp will go to about 20-30 left (my hp is 76, so 4 or 5 splatters may actually be needed). That will give you full chance to kill the portals with all of Dharok's might.
  18. To the idea of what to put as a picture in place of the staves... why not do this... Take a Skeleton, cast a Bind Spell on it, and take a screenshot of that, to give the appearance of summoning a skeleton.
  19. YEAH! COOKIE! *munch munch munch* Anyways... yeah, that does sound kinda wierd with all the inconsistancies with what they say and what they can do.... Kinda makes you wonder what else they might be lying about...
  20. Turael can assign Desert Lizards himself apparantly. If the monster you receive can be assigned by Turael, regardless of the quantity, you MUST take it.
  21. Yeah, I agree with the "can't buy your stats" statement. The next skill released should go something along the lines of this. It's very easy to get experience in, so you get stats up quickly. However, all items that are introduced into the game are non-tradable, so you must get all items for yourself. This would add a nice money drain, and would also make having 99 in the skill a real status symbol because you couldn't just buy your way to 99.
  22. Here's the list of the top 6 people in runescape, and what exp they have for those who are looking for the numbers. 1) Zezima - 662,240,391 2) N0valyfe - 544,931,353 (-117,309,038) 3) Uloveme - 512,226,588 (-150,013,803) 4) Divine God - 389,236,060 (-273,004,331) 5) Cyrano74 - 372,729,204 (-289,511,187) 6) Yogosun (lv2,168) - 297,352,118 (-364,888,273) And a stat reset would absolutely kill a bunch of people. Although it would easily take care of all macroers, I'm sure Jagex would lose about every one of their customers who was above lv20 in any skill...
  23. I believe someone sent a query into Jagex about that, and they got a very Runescapish answer, that being the answer was given from the persepective that our life was Runescape. Something was mentioned about people thinking that 126 was a powerful number, and the Gods couldn't determine who could handle it's "almighty power." Monks had also believed that 126 was incompatable with life (hence if you do the math, 125 is the max level possible without a lv99 cap).
  24. That's Rune Armor, from teh advendures of Omegawytch... I believe there was a "story" about the person who made him who would continue to argue with his character like it was an actual person. And yes, lv18 combat is the lowest level possible to get rune armor. I was debating making a def pure like that, but I gave up on it at 17def.
